This great apartment is the ideal Lagos getaway. Right behind the Marina and very close to Meia Praia.
The space
This bright, tastefully decorated apartment is located right behind the Lagos Marina. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 with walk-in shower and 1 ensuite), and a separate kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you might need to cook up a feast! The living room is very light with a spacious sitting area and dining table. There is a large private terrace to enjoy the sun. The apartment has modern ceiling fans to keep you cool on hot days! During colder day you can se the portable heaters and electric radiators to heat up the room.

The neighborhood
The apartment is located on the hill right behind the Lagos marina area. The Marina area itself has all you need including restaurants, bars with live music and a large supermarket. Lagos downtown is within 15 minutes' walking distance.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

A bit more could be done on the decor (tired and sagging sofas for example) which I think could improve the place a lot. You cant see it in the pictures but the place does not look as "artistic" in real life
Location is away from the city which is good from a noise perspective but has very little atmosphere.
We were given a "pouch" which had soap/shampoo etc but it was not really enough for the number of people (3) and the number of nights that we stayed there. Similarly it was nice that they provided some soap/washing up liquid but again not really enough for the length of stay.
We also rang 30min before our arrival as requested and then still had to wait 10-15min to collect the keys. Its not a big deal but not the best first impression when you do provide an arrival time as requested.

Logement trés bien, gros bémol pour la voisine du haut qui lessive sa terrasse à grande eau et fait tous retomber sur la terrasse et la table à manger.
La communication avec l agence reste à ameliorer: envoi d'un message 2 jours avant de partir, toujours pas de réponses.
Si vous oubliez des affaires, ils pretendent ne pas les avoir trouver, plutôt que de chercher à les renvoyer.

Das Airbnb ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist eine wirklich große Wohnung mit Dachterasse, Balkon, Wohnzimmer, einer großen Küche, zwei schöne Bäder und Schlafzimmern. Wir wurden zum Empfang direkt persönlich begrüßt und mit einer Führung durch die Wohnung empfangen. In den Schränken gab es sogar Body Boards, welche für den Strand toll waren. Zudem gab es kleine süß verpackte Tüten mit Seife, Schwamm, Waschmittel etc. Auch das Parken war gar kein Problem, da immer vor der Wohnung an der Straße ausreichend Platz war! Wirklich tolle Wohung, wir kommen wieder 🥰

Para el check out estuvimos preguntando a qué hora era y no nos respondía nadie, a las 10 de la mañana los limpiadores abrieron la puerta de la casa diciendo que nos fuéramos ya que tenían que limpiar de muy malas maneras. Llamamos vista esa situación y nadie nos cogía el teléfono.
Además al apartamento le hace falta una BUENA limpieza porque por ejemplo la zona de la lavadora estaba asquerosa.

Die Lage ist funktional, nah am Zentrum und gute Parkmöglichkeiten, aber kein Charme.
Die Wohnung ist groß, es gibt genug Decken und die Heizung wärmt gut. Auch die Waschmaschine ist top.
Enttäuscht waren wir von Mobiliar: die Sofas waren so alt und das beige Polster schon so dreckig, dass man nicht gerne drauf saß, ebenso die Sofakissen. Schubladenböden haben gefehlt, der Wäscheständer müsste dringend ausgetauscht werden und eine kaputte Lampe standen in der Ecke. Der Gasherd ging nicht mehr von alleine an, aber es waren nur noch 4 Streichhölzer da und die Batterie der Bedienung für die Heizung war leer.
Das ist alles nicht dramatisch, führt aber dazu (vor allem Sofa und Kissen), dass man nicht so gerne da verweilt.

Our experience at this property was awful.
The Advert for this property promotes it has "Parking on Premises" (at time of booking - which was one of the main reasons we booked). It only has ON ROAD parking.
Local check in "host" was really slow to reply, so much so that we had to chase Rental Valley to get the local host to respond.
The standard of cleanliness in the apartment was awful. It appears that the apartment hasn't been thoroughly cleaned for a substantial amount of time, with mouldy bathrooms, dirty floors, dusty bed frames and stained walls. Cream sofas appearing brown, stained rugs etc. Blood stain on Duvet which host said could only be replaced per instruction from property owner.
Cleanliness reported to host who questioned where the dirt was and that they could send a cleaner for a "touch up clean"
Want to be truly honest about this place, hopefully the hosts can do a deep and thorough clean of this space so that no one has to go through what we did.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and comfortable apartment. The location is perfect – situated in a quiet area, making it easy to relax and unwind. Free street parking was a great bonus. The apartment is conveniently close to the walking center and the marina, where you can find plenty of restaurants and shops. It’s an ideal place for families.

This was a great location for our short stay in Lagos. It was close to the marina and a short 10 to 15 min walk from downtown. We felt right at home and very safe. There was plenty of everything that we needed for a short stay and the host was very responsive. It was easy access and the host was very communicative on arrival.

El alojamiento estaba según lo descrito y está muy bien, la zona tranquila y se puede ir andando a la playa. La zona es bonita pero recomiendo chaqueta para la tarde -noche.
La limpieza estaba bien, pero tuvimos un problema con el ventanal del salón que da a una terraza muy grande que coincide con otras terrazas. Al mostrarnos el piso una de las puertas no quedaba cerrada y hasta el día siguiente no se arregló.
Mi única queja es que además de la limpieza se debe dar un mantenimiento, aunque sea mínimo, pues el lavabo y ducha no tragaban agua y los desatascamos nosotros por no esperar a que viniese nadie.
Desde las 10 h que se deja el apartamento, hasta que se entra a las 14h son 6h, que puede dar tiempo a un repaso de lo más básico.

The apartment is walking distance to Old Town as well as to the main beaches. Other beaches are easily accessible through Uber. The apartment is huge and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They bathrooms are are a good size too.

Furniture was dirty, as were the rugs. Though not the responsibility of the property owners, the entryway at ground level had the smell of swamp water. Pretty foul most days. Close to the train station, but the path to the apartment left something to be desired, especially if you were hauling suitcases around. The roads to the property were roundabout, and would take a lot longer to negotiate. The contact person, Carolina, was hard to reach, and did not respond to calls. When we arrived, she told us her phone contact was not charged, and that was the reason we couldn’t reach her. I felt this was very irresponsible. If you give a client a phone number to reach her, I feel it is her responsibility to make sure that phone is charged so that she IS reachable. We were left outside the apartment with no idea when she was coming. We had made it very clear through Vrbo when our train was arriving. She should have been there.

We stayed for six weeks mid-feb to end of March. The location of the apt was good, close to the beach, train and bus station and close to the marina and a short walk to the town. This time of year the neighborhood was quiet and no busy roads nearby. The apt looks like the photos but you can tell that the apt is only for rental. Maintenance could be better. Internet was great, worked while we were there and teams meetings etc worked perfectly. Communications with the host was quick and efficient.

Amazing apartment, much larger then the photos! Massive deck which was a big highlight. Flexible check in, and very responsive hosts. Couldn't recommend more! Great spot, will definitely stay here again!

The apartment is in a great location.Some of the furniture was looking a little tired particularly the sofa .We also bought a new mop and cleaned the floor as our feet were black after walking around.After cleaning the floor it was much better.
The apartment is well equipped and we felt very comfortable there.

La casa , está bien, es grande , limpia tranquila , y tenía de todo lo necesario aunque muy pico papel higienico para 4 personas.
El salon debido a su colocación de muebles era bastante inutil porque los sillones estaban detras de la puerta y pegado a la television y era imposible estar todos juntos.
Una terraza muy grande y amueblada donde poder cenar.
Estoy indignada porque me dejé un pendiente muy valioso para mi en el cuarto de baño , llamé y escribí el mismo dia y nadie me contestó diciendo algo hasta tres dias después . Y decían que no habia nada , pero segurisimo que si estaba alli, una decepción.

Das Apartment ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit schönen Badezimmern und komfortablen Betten. Die Küche ist ebenfalls gut ausgestattet.
Die Außenterrasse ist riesig.
Das Auto konnte direkt vor der Tür abgestellt werden.
Die Lage des Appartments ist sehr gut. Es ist nur einer kurzer Fußweg zum Yachthafen und über eine Fußgängerbrücke über den Hafen ist man schnell in der schönen Altstadt mit vielen Gassen und Restaurants.
Der lange Sandstrand ist ebenfalls zu Fuß erreichbar.

Die Großzügigkeit der Wohnung ist ganz besonders hervorzuheben.
Die neue Waschmaschine ist sehr gut!
Die Lage ist sehr gut.
Die beiden Bäder waren sauber bei der Übernahme der Wohnung. Es hat mich gefreut, dass alle 4 Betten bezogen waren, obwohl wir nur 2 Personen waren-das war sehr hilfreich. Es ist gut, dass es eine Geschirrdpülmaschine gibt, auch wenn diese sehr schlecht spült und im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr nachgelassen hat.
Der neue Sonnenschirm funktioniert einwandfrei.

Bei der Übergabe der Wohnung, mussten mir ca 15 Minuten warten, obwohl wir über what#s app unsere recht genaue Uhrzeit angegeben hatte. Zum Vergleich-letztes Jahr hat man auf uns gewartet und uns damit ein Gefühl des Willkomenseins vermittelt.
Auf der Terasse stapeln sich der kaputte Sonnenschirm, die alten Strandliegen, der alte Gartentisch und die Stühle-obwohl es einen neueren und schönen Ersatz für alles gibt.
In dem einen Schlafzimmer (zur Terasse hin) hingen an den Wänden Staub und Spinnweben, die Flügel des Ventilators sind verstaubt.Das war letztes Jahr nicht der Fall.
Der Boden der mittleren Kommode der Schublade im Zimmer zur Terasse fehlt.
Im Schrank ist einfach ein Teppich geparkt. Warum auch immer.
Die Kunststofftischdecke in der Küche ist schmuddelig.
Die Zierkissen im selben Zimmer sind unsauber und eingerissen.
Der Überzug der einen höheren Couch im Wohnzimmer war recht schmutzig. Lädt nicht zum Sitzen ein.

Encontrar o apartamento não é simples porque não há identificação do número do bloco na área externa. O apartamento é bem grande e confortável. Para lembrete, não há ar condicionado nos quartos. Apesar desses inconvenientes, a estadia foi ótima.

Apartamento amplio y cómodo, en zona tranquila destacar que no había ruidos con lo que podías descansar tranquilamente, se puede aparcar en la calle sin coste.
Cerca del centro andando y de la Marina con bares y restaurantes.
Me lleve una grata sorpresa por la gran terraza que pose con hamacas sombrilla y una gran mesa para poder comer.
La única pega es que la lavadora no funcionaba y no pudieron reparar durante la estancia.

Dans l’ensemble nous avons bien apprécié Lagos. L’appartement était très propre, très spacieux et la terrasse était immense et bien équipé pour quelques repas à l’extérieur. Carolina était super sympathique et l’équipe est intervenue rapidement concernant des problèmes de portes.
Par contre, nous avons eu un séjour où à chaque soir (5 fois), il y avait une fête à l’école à côté jusqu’à 23:00-23:30 et pour boucler, jusuqu’au petite heure du matin la dernière soirée. Évidemment, ce n’est pas la faute de Rental Valley, mais à devoir revenir à Lagos, j’éviterais cette partie de la ville.
Par contre, nous avons eu un séjour où à chaque soir (5 fois), il y avait une fête à l’école à côté jusqu’à 23:00-23:30 et pour boucler, jusuqu’au petite heure du matin la dernière soirée. This is a roomy apartment and a good value. There is one very large courtyard patio and one small street balcony, both of which are nice but with no view. It is convenient walking to the Lagos marina, and then to Lagos over the footbridge drawbridge. To walk to the marina you go through a path (not on G00gle Maps even if you select pedestrian) in a gully with flowers and frogs. It’s quite charming. The apartment complex could be very nice but weeds are growing through the cobblestones so it looks a little rundown even though it is safe and clean. Car access and parking are easy. Use the provided G00gle Maps link. The apartment was fairly clean, but on the second day we noticed an old stain on the bedsheet. They responded quickly and replaced the sheet the same day, but charged us €50 for an extra cleaning service. As a couple we had a mixed but generally positive experience. I would recommend this highly if you are traveling with friends on a budget.

The location was quiet, clean and an easy walk to the old town. We had to wait a while on the uncertainty of the possibility of an early check-in which was a slight annoyance as we stayed around the old town with luggage until the check-in time. If communicated earlier that this was not possible, the option to store luggage elsewhere would have been nice.
We noted an issue with a sliding door to the balcony which was swiftly addressed and the Rental Valley team were very responsive throughout identifying and rectifying the issue. Very happy with our stay overall.

Beautiful and lovely AirBnb apartment equipped with everything you need. A good 2 bedrooms and nice bathrooms. Rental valley is a great host. Caroline came in person to show us the apartment and explained everything in detail. Also gave overview of the neighborhood and restaurants. We had a great stay!

Die Lage und die Größe der Wohnung war richtig sehr gut. Es war genau das was wir gesucht hatten. Die Kommunikation und die Übergabe waren top. Sehr freundlich, es gab noch einige sehr gute Hinweise die unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht haben. Leider ist die Beseitigung von einigen Schönheitsfehlern erst nach unseren Aufenthalt eingeplant gewesen. Dadurch waren einige Dinge etwas mühselig, jedoch hat es bei diesem Urlaub nicht beeinträchtigt. Das Handwerkerteam wird sich der Aufgabe zeitnah annehmen, laut dem Vermieter. Auf Grund dessen, hat sich der Vermieter sehr entgegenkommt auf unsere Nachricht gezeigt. Vielen Dank an das Team

The apartment is modern and well-appointed in a quiet residential location near to the beach and close to the Lagos Marina. It is on the first floor with access only available by lift. The accommodation was well laid out and was adequately equipped for self-catering. A smart TV with Netflix and streamed TV was included. The beds were comfortable and it was generally very quiet in the evenings. The Marina, with a variety of restaurants and bars was only about 5 minutes walk and the main part of Lagos with abundant restaurants and shops was also easily walkable within 15-20 minutes. The booking process was well managed with through a property management company. Communications were excellent and the check in and out process was very efficient. Overall, a nice apartment which would suit families and couples for a stay in Lagos at any time of the year.
