The space
This bright and tastefully decorated apartment is located right behind the Lagos Marina. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 with walk-in shower and 1 ensuite), and a separate kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you might need! The living room is very light with a spacious and colorful sitting area, dining table and cosy wood burner for the colder days. You can enjoy the sun on our very large private terrace.

The neighborhood
The apartment is located on the hill right behind the Lagos marina area. The Marina area itself has all you need including restaurants, bars with live music and a large supermarket (Pingo Doce only 5min away). Both Lagos downtown and the main beach are within 15 minutes' walking distance.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.
You will be able to explore Lagos and the beaches by foot or by using the (limited) public buses. Regional buses and trains will get you to the surrounding towns and cities from Lagos downtown, but if you really want to explore the general area, a (hire) car will make your life easier. There is plenty of free parking space next to the apartment.

Guest can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. After this date, 100% of the total booking amount is due. Cleaning fees will be refunded to the guest in case of cancellation within 14 days of arrival. We strongly advise taking cancellation insurance for your trip to avoid possible financial loss.

Abfluss war einmal verstopft und das Wasser wird manchmal nicht warm.
TIPP: In der Kpche ist der Durchlauferhitzer, einfach die Dusche mehrmals an und ausmachen. Man hört, wenn er anspringt, dann wird das Wasser warm.
Und die Mülltonnen sind eine Straße weiter, das war erstmal nicht einfach zu finden.
Sonst alles super, sehr schöne Wohnung in Top Lage

The water in the showers took a little bit to heat up. I found the $200 cleaning fee was a little steep as there were dirty marks in obvious places. I would stay here again.

- No hot water in showers. The host failed to fix this even though they knew about it before we arrived, and was very slow in their communication during our week long stay. One minor positive is that the host gave us a small partial refund for this
- The agent was very late to the agreed check-in time. The agent was almost an hour late, had a poor attitude and was full of excuses rather than being apologetic
- one bedroom had broken blinds, which the airbnb hosts also didn’t fix. This meant the person sleeping in that room was woken up at 6am every day due to sunlight coming in through the windows
Very unfortunate as the apartment would have been great if they improved their customer service and fixed maintenance issues.

The appartement itself is beautifully designed and stocked with everything you could ever need. The spacious roof top balcony is just the cherry on top.
All in all, I would easily stay here again when visiting Faro.

Der Check-in erfolgte problemlos über Whats-app und so entnahmen wir den Schlüssel einfach mit Hilfe des Pins aus einem Schließfach.
Auch alle weitere Kommunikation fand schnell und einfach über Whats-app statt.
Die Wohnung war sauber, geräumig, gut ausgestattet und genau wie auf den Bildern. Die eine oder andere Gebrauchsspur gab es, z.B. an Türen oder Griffen, doch nichts was unseren Urlaub beeinträchtigen konnte.
Das Einzige was wir uns gewünscht hätten wäre ein besserer Staubsauger oder einfach ein guter Besen. Der vorhandene Staubsauger ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, sonst ist aber alles da was man braucht.
Das aller Beste an der Wohnung ist aber ihre Lage. In nur wenigen Minuten kommt man zu Fuß ins Zentrum von Lagos und zum Strand. Dennoch ist es schön ruhig und es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze direkt hinter dem Gebäude.
Alles in allem waren wir rundum zufrieden und können die Wohnung jeder Zeit weiterempfehlen.

L'appartement est très bien équipé, propre et très spacieux. Totalement conforme aux photos, nous avons passé un superbe séjour et reviendrons sans hésiter dans ce même logement. Les conseils donnés par Carolina (sur un restaurant et une activité de visite) ont été très pertinents et excellents! Merci à elle 😊

There is natural light coming into every room. A lovely balcony that gets afternoon sun, perfect to relax on. The kitchen is well equipped.
Only a short walk to the main township. 4 minute walk to the train station and 8 to the bus station. Would love to meet the owners and tell them they have such a lovely apartment. Totally made our stay in Lagos!

It was also convenient for using the train or buses. As we had 6 staying in the condo for a few days, we were very glad to have good sized rooms and the large living room.
The kitchen was also well appointed for anyone interested in cooking.

Großer Pluspunkt der Wohnung: sie ist riesig - für eine Familie also super! Es gibt drei Schlafzimmer, eine riesige Terrasse und ein sehr großzügiges Wohnzimmer.
Ein kleines Manko an der Wohnung sind die elektrischen Geräte, die Waschmaschine war leider nicht funktionsfähig, was (so unser Stand) nach unserer Abreise sofort behoben wird, und der Sauger hat auch schon bessere Tage gesehen, so ist es also etwas schwerer grundlegende Sauberkeit in der Wohnung zu halten. Generell habe die elektrischen Geräte schon bessere Tage gesehen.
Die Ausstattung hingegen ist wirklich umfassend, dazu gehört ein Holz-Kohle -Grill, ein großer Fernseher, gutes WLAN bequeme Betten und einige Sitzgelegenheiten (drinnen, wie auch draußen).
Die Wohnung hat einen großen Teil zu einem wunderbaren Urlaub beigetragen.

Le drain de la douche était bouché, l'eau s'accumulait sur le plancher et il fallait arrêter l'eau pendant la doucher pour éviter des dégâts.

Hygiëne en staat van het appartement. Zaten vast in de badkamer. Wifi werkte niet optimaal. Klusjesman kwam vaak op bezoek om dat te herstellen. Ging ten koste van het vakantiegenot.

Upon arrival, the owner had to kill one cockroach in the door. We thought there would be only one, but many more began to appear. We had them in the bathroom, in the bedroom, in the kitchen, and they even crawled into our bags. from the bags got into the car, so they are in the car as well. You can't get rid of it properly. Exterminators arrived, claiming that we would not see any more. two hours later we killed them again.
Hot water flowed only occasionally and it was our last visit.
