The space
This spacious, modern and bright apartment is perfectly located behind Meia Praia beach and on walking distance to Lagos Marina. 20min Walking distance to the centre of Lagos. First line beach front accommodation with an elevator to the fantastic roof top terrace and shared swimming pool overlooking one of the longest and best beaches in the Algarve.
The apartment has A/C throughout, a large open plan living area and a great terrace. It sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. There are also 2 private bathrooms. You'll have a beautiful view over the Atlantic Ocean from your private balcony.
The house is fully equipped with: AC in every room, flat screen TV, washing machine and dishwasher.

The neighborhood
The apartment is located on the Lagos side of 'Meia Praia', the area named after the beach behind which it lays. You'll have your toes in the sand within 5 minutes after leaving the house! The Marina area is about 20 minutes away and has all you need including restaurants, bars with live music and a large supermarket. To reach Lagos downtown you just cross the bridge behind the marina.
There are also a few restaurants located at Meia Praia, some as part of the resorts. The Vila Galé resort also has spa and gym facilities that are open for outside customers.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars, and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours. You can park for free very easily in the surroundings streets.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

1 negative, told would be in person checkin but on way from airport got notification that had to collect key from a lock box in office in town. Thankfully had private transfer and not public transport, I presume as it was a Sunday was hosts day off. this would not deter us to stay again. Highly recommend this appartment.

Die Matratze im Elternschlafzimmer ist unerträglich hart. Die Kleiderschränke waren staubig. Die Terrassen waren ungeputzt. Es gab kein Putzmittel, Wischer oder Staubsauger. Das Apartment ist ungemütlich. Es fehlen Dekoration ,die die Atmosphäre wohnlich machen. Es gab nicht mal eine Kerze. Die Klimaanlage in einem Schlafzimmer war defekt. Es wurde uns am unseren Ankunft mitgeteilt. Am 8. Tag unserer Ferienzeit wurde erst repariert. Vielleicht hatten wir einfach Pech…. Die Qualitätskontrolle hat einfach gefehlt. Wir haben noch nie so viel für ein Apartment bezahlt und dafür so wenig Leistung erhalten. Es ist sehr enttäuschend.

The location is approximately 25 minutes walk to the Marina and a little further to the old town. This is an easy walk on boardwalk but meant that every morning we had to walk to get a coffee as there was no coffee facilities open near by.
The kitchen is superbly equipped but there is no local supermarket or mini market nearby so we walked to Lidl to get the water and other holiday essentials. We did walk back but Uber is readily available.
The sun loungers by the pool wee old and not at all comfortable so we went to the beach instead

We had to pick up the key in another location and it was very confusing. The keys could have been left in a lock box in the apt. The taxi could not find the the location of where the keys were. I kept calling the host and was not helpful at all . Also the tv in the living room did not work and call but nobody showed up to fix it.

Para acceder a la playa hay que cruzar a pie una via de tren, pero sin mayor problema. Las duchas del apartamento no regulan correctamente la temperatura y provocaba problemas durante la ducha ( subidas o bajadas drasticas de temperatura).

The rooms had unique qualities to them so both of us got great rooms! The beach is at walking distance and the balcony and bedroom view will encourage one to walk down there.
The additional amenities were perfect for a Sunday check-in.
The team were responsive to our requests and helpful.

Dizia apartamento inteiro, mas tinha 1 quarto fechado e dois armários com 2 portas fechadas, o que reduzia a arrumação.
Limpeza da cozinha muito má. Paguei taxa de limpeza e o resultado foi péssimo.
Demasiadas subcontratação de empresas e empurram as responsabilidades uns para os outros.
