The apartment features two bedrooms, two bathrooms (including one en-suite), and a spacious open-plan living room, kitchen, and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and ample counter space, making it ideal for those who enjoy cooking.
Each bedroom is designed for comfort, with high-quality bedding and plenty of storage space. The master bedroom is allowing you to wake up to the soothing sounds of the ocean. The second bedroom is equipped with twin beds.

The neighborhood
Located in the center of Praia da Luz, the apartment is conveniently close to all local amenities including a beautiful sandy beach with seaside cafes and restaurants along a pedestrian promenade. Additionally, two supermarkets are within easy walking distance for those fresh morning croissants on the balcony.
Consider taking a local bus to the historic town of Lagos, rich in Portuguese heritage, or explore the charming fishing village of Burgau nearby. Praia da Luz is an excellent base for surfing enthusiasts with some of the best beaches in the Algarve close by. The area is also ideal for cliff path walking, offering stunning coastal views.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.
You can park for free in Luz. Parking in front of the apartment is not always available in summer, but there will be plenty of space in the surrounding streets.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung extrem wohl gefühlt. Frühstück und Abendessen auf dem herrlichen Balkon waren für uns das Highlight. Der Weg zum Strand ist ein kurzer Spaziergang von 10 bis 15 Minuten. Alles war sehr sauber, die Küche gut ausgestattet, ein Parkplartz direkt vor der Tür und das zweite Bad war gerade als Familie mit zwei Kindern ein großer Vorteil. Luz selbst ist ein eher ruhiges Kleinod mit einem tollen Strand und einigen Restaurants und Bars sowie zwei kleinen Supermärkten. Von uns gibt es eine uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung!

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, wohnlich und modern eingerichtet. Die Lage ist ideal, um Unternehmungen auch in der Umgebung zu starten, und nur 10 Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus waren ebenfalls ein großer Pluspunkt. Der Ort selbst ist bietet eine tolle Atmosphäre. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, die unseren Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Gerne wieder!

The heated towel rail in the bathroom has noticeable rust stains, which made us hesitant to use it for hanging clothes. As there were no other hanging options available, we had to return to the bedroom to get dressed after showering.
There were no user instructions for the appliances. For instance, the oven’s control panel was quite worn, making it difficult to read the settings and understand how to operate it properly.
We were unable to figure out how to switch on the overhead showerhead, so we could only use the handheld one. A simple guide or instruction sheet would have been helpful.

Der Aufenthalt war einfach perfekt! Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, wohnlich und modern eingerichtet – man hat sich sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal, um Unternehmungen in der Umgebung zu starten, und nur 5 Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus waren ebenfalls ein großer Pluspunkt. Los dos baños completos facilitan las vueltas de la playa.
La cocina está muy bien equipada, e incluso había algunas cosas que tienes que acabar comprando en el súper (lavavajillas, sal, aceite, condimentos para cocinar...).
Se puede aparcar en la misma puerta.
La terraza es genial y el sitio es muy tranquilo. Si quieres ir a la playa caminando hay cuesta, pero vale la pena.
Repetiría sin dudar.
Al alojamiento no le puedo poner ninguna pega. Como mucho comentar que nos costó un poco llegar una vez allí porque Google no se aclaraba con la dirección.

A casa encontrava-se limpa e bem arrumada. Foi bastante apreciado o cuidado dos anfitriões em deixarem para os hóspedes água mineral, vinho e cápsulas para a máquina de café.
O prédio é tranquilo e tem estacionamento disponível. O sistema de som na sala com possibilidade de ligação por bluetooth ao telemóvel permitiu criar um ambiente relaxado e envolvente.

Die Wohnung war so wie Beschrieben . Es gibt eine 11 seitige Hausordnung vorab was man alles nicht tun sollte . Da steckt die Erwartung sehr hoch . Das Geschirr ist etwas knapp bemessen und zeitweise riecht es doch nach Abfluss . Befremdlich ist es das man vorab eine Kaution bezahlt aber niemand vor Ort ist und die Wohnung abnimmt bzw. auch wieder abnimmt vor Abreise . Die Kaution wird erst zurück erstattet wenn man schon abgereist ist. Macht aber ein extrem unsicheres Gefühl da doch einige Mängel vorhanden waren . Die Kommunikation via Mail war prompt und freundlich . Die Lage zum Ort ist super .

Nice Apartment which is not too far away from the beach. It took us 10min of walking to go to the beach. The surrounding is calm. Beginning of April and during the week, there were not much people around at the house. Some might feel a bit alone.
The Apartment is as described and meets the local standards. Some things looks a bit used, but for the price and the size of the Apartment this is acceptable.
The size of the Apartment is huge and easily fits 4 people.
Breakfast on the balcony with sun and sea view is really the highlight.

Praia da Luz is voor ons een bekende locatie. Nu eens niet op een camping, maar een AirBNB. Is prima bevallen. Locatie is heel netjes en schoon. Locatie bestaat uit verschillende gebouwen. Als je in het donker aankomt is het echt wel even zoeken. Prima appartement!

Die Unterkunft war etwas schwer zu finden. An der Tür ist es nicht so gut angeschrieben, was für Verwirrung gesorgt hat. Die Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten. Das Check-Out könnte etwas später sein. Die Unterkunft war renoviert und daher sehr modern. Wir würden diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. The apartment was spacious, modern and less than 10 minute walk to the beach. We originally were going to stay in Lagos but we’re happy with the cozy and quieter location. Lagos only 15 minute drive or a beautiful 1hour walk along the cliffs (but with very steep walk to start the journey).
The apartment had a stereo system in the ceiling that we could connect to, a big terrace and nice rooms and bathrooms. Was very good value for money.

The apartment was beautifully furnished with all the amenities we needed for a family of 4. Good location for the beach and supermarket was only about 5 min walk, we used Uber and spent a good few days/nights in Lagos (€8 each way so very cheap) it was more lively there and more to do, although Luz has plenty of bars and restaurants it was quite small and we had our 17 & 19 yr old sons with us, the beaches are beautiful in either Lagos or Luz. Our only problem was what to do with our luggage on our last day as it was checkout at 10am and our flight was 21.30, I asked about late checkout as I saw on the booking website that no one was booked for a few days, but I was told that due to the cleaners schedule our only option was to book for another night which was too expensive, we were advised to try luggage hero by the management company which is an app that tells you of local places that will securely hold your luggage for a small fee, although the only one in Luz at the moment is studio cafe which is very close by but it closes at 3pm. We did use this service and it cost us €21 for 5 hrs (3 suitcases) we then had to sit outside the apartment from 3pm until 5.40pm to be picked up by our taxi. We should’ve got our taxi to pick us up in Lagos and there were many more places to leave the luggage until later but that was our mistake, I would definitely recommend this apartment it was perfect. And clean (which is the main thing to me)

We hebben samen heerlijk genoten in dit fijne appartement, lekker rustig en op loopafstand van het strand en voldoende uiteten gelegenheden in de buurt. Het uur rijden van en naar het vliegveld was geen punt en de buren waren aardig om ons de ingang van het appartement te laten vinden.

An apartment is big and very clean, modern style (5*!). There is everything you might need while your visit. Quiet place, perfect for relax. Nice view for ocean. Room service is doing perfect job, there deserve for a tip. They're helpfull.
It is not far from the beach, shops (very nice service in markets), restaurants (waiters are helpfull, nice,good). Local foods are delicious.

The appartment is very modern and light. Very comfortable. Location is perfect. Little walking to the beach, the centre and supermarkets.

Also: der Geschirrspüler hat nicht gut gewaschen. Geschirr war knapp. Wir empfanden das Geschirr als schmutzig und haben es vor der ersten Benutzung per Hand abgewaschen.
Eine Teekanne fehlt. Wohin mit dem heißen Wasser vom Wasserkocher? Bei der Dusche lief das Wasser kaum ab.
Die Bettwäsche war nachdem wir es nochmals gewaschen haben deutlich sauberer.
Trotzdem haben wir uns in dem Apartment wohl gefühlt. Die Deckenlautsprecher und die Bluetoothanlage sind echt der Hit.

The flat is in a nice quiet location and is spacious. It's only an 8 minute walk down to the beach and a little more for the all uphill return journey. To get the most out of your holiday without transport you need to be walking fit.
The balcony is excellent offering a choice of sun or shade through the day, although the view of the ocean is limited by other properties.
My wife and I are both aged 70 and my wife has some physical limitation due to Parkinson's.
The walk in showers are great for the active and fit but there was no rail or slip proof mat for anyone less able.
There were a couple of important equipment issues which should have been sorted before we arrived but Rental Valley were helpful and resolved the situation reasonably quickly.
I have sent particulars to Rental Valley under separate cover so hopefully they will act on them.
Also some areas could have been cleaner.
I don't know how much the flat has been used - we've all suffered the effects of the pandemic but the bedding felt damp and it has been difficult to make it feel comfortable. I think the property has good potential but needs a detailed review from owner and agent to raise the rating.
We have enjoyed our stay in Luz but feel that with a bit more attention to detail before we arrived it could have been better.
