Luxury 2 bedroom apartment in Porto de Mos area, with access to the gym
The space
Located in the much sought-after resort of Porto de Mos in the Lagos area, this newly refurbished spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is furnished to a very high standard. The complex has much to offer from a beautiful pool with palm trees to a gym and even a small children’s play area.
The apartment is situated on the first floor, with a small terrace both front and back of the property where you can sit and unwind with your favourite drink. Inside it is light and airy with plenty of space to enjoy your stay. This apartment has a King size bed in the main bedroom, with an en suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The second bedroom has two single beds and there is a second bathroom with a shower cubicle. A brand new fully fitted kitchen with everything that you need to make this the perfect place to stay. The lounge/dining room gives you plenty of space to sit and relax and enjoy some of the great local Portuguese food with friends or family or to simply unwind after a day of sightseeing.
Around the pool area you will find sunbeds available allowing you to simply relax and enjoy the warm weather that Portugal has to offer. If you prefer to be indoors, you have access to the gym, which is available at no extra cost.

The neighborhood
The very stunning Porto de Mós beach is less than a 10-minute stroll away from the complex. You will find two beach side restaurants and a bus stop for going into the town centre. Alternatively, an approximate 8-minute car/taxi ride will also take you into the bustling historic town of Lagos.
Lagos perfectly blends traditional Portuguese culture with beautiful beaches and great tourist facilities. It has an amazing historic centre with lots to explore and a leisurely walk alongside the charming harbours estuary. With an extensive selection of restaurants to choose from and nightlife, you will be spoilt for choice. Close to Lagos is a variety of activities and sights which range from waterparks to zoos, through to historic monuments and challenging hiking and biking trails. There are three golf courses within close proximity to Lagos, making it an ideal location for your base.
Getting around
There is public transport available in the area and all around the Algarve. But bus and trains do not go very often and a (rental) car is recommended

Strand zu Fuß einfach zu erreichen (10min).
Strand (Praia de Porto Mos) ist sehr schön!
Ausflugsziel Ponta da Piedade ist auch zu Fuß erreichbar.
Für den Aufenthalt dort ist unserer Meinung aber nach ein eigenes Fahrzeug erforderlich (Supermarkt, Restaurants).
Parken direkt am Quartier möglich.
Quartier für 4 Personen sehr groß (Wohnzimmer, 2 Bäder+WC, Küche)
Einrichtung mehr als ausreichend (Küchenausstattung, Fernseher).
Kein Zimmersafe vorhanden (wir hatten aber auch nicht das Gefühl, dass es in dieser Gegend unsicher für Wertgegenstände im Quartier wäre).

Listing showed apartment located in or near Lagos centre / old town - please note that is not the case, it’s in Porta Mos which is a 30-35 min walk away. But we preferred Porta Mos as beach was close and town easily accessible. Great restaurants in Lagos centre and loads of water sport options and trips. Loved Lagos and apartment was a great base to explore from. Great value. Highly recommend.

Das Appartement ist toll ausgestattet. Man hat 2 kleine Terrassen zur Auswahl, für 2 Personen ok, für 4 Personen kann es etwas eng werden, da es zu wenig Stühle gibt und der Tisch etwas klein ist - > das ist jedoch Jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Die Poolanlage haben wir nicht benutzt, da wir den tollen nahe gelegenen Strand - Playa de Mos - vorgezogen haben. Der Strand ist zu Fuß in ca. 5 Minuten erreichbar.
Die Altstadt von Lagos ist 5 Autominuten entfernt und es gibt genügend gebührenfreie Parkplätze - wo gibt es das noch🤔👍

However, had to face a bad behavior of downstairs neighbor. On the first morning, we had a kayak booked at 7. So we woke up at 6 and got ready. We did not make any noise. We were very aware of the timing. Even then the neighbor downstairs complained that we were making lot of noise and threatened us to call police. We did not say anything and ignored her as seemed like she was intoxicated. Also we did not want to ruin our mood early in the morning.
Other than that everything was great.
Just a minor suggestion, please provide more coffee pods. We were given only 3 pods for 4 people staying for 3 days.

Cons: On second floor with 15 steps to climb. Limited patio furniture and no umbrella. Car recommended to go into Lagos and tour.

You can tell it is a run by a agency as opposed to being owned by a private person the place is stark did not have the house amenities expected,It has no design and the resort it is part of is all shut down .all closed up. It looks like it’s gonna fold. I wouldn’t recommend it.

A very responsive and attentive team who are able to look after your stay. The fire alarm batteries were bleeping to alert that they were running out and the team responded and organised a replacement very quickly! A great quality apartment we’d highly recommend for a good relaxing stay..
