The Lemon Lodge - Ziggurat Suite

The space

The Lemon Lodge is a renovated farmhouse split into two unique lodgings. Surrounded by pine trees, the suites have spectacular views of the valley and the food gardens.
The two lodgings are inviting, comfortable yet rustic, as inspired by nature.

Ziggurat is a spacious two-person suite with a private terrace that blends perfectly into the natural surroundings.
The modern interior is mixed with rustic Portuguese details. The high ceiling and soft romantic colours make you feel right at home.

The suite has a large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom that overlooks the garden.
A fireplace, a lounge, and an open-plan kitchen facing the valley are in the living room.

As we believe the kitchen to be the heart of the house, the suite comes with complimentary tea, locally roasted coffee and essential kitchen herbs to enjoy your homespun meals. The suite is also provided with handcrafted biodegradable soap and shampoo made locally in the valley.

Please note that arriving after 9 PM is impossible, and check-ins after 6 PM only in consultation with our local hosts.

Side note: Televisions and air conditioning are not available, which is our way of encouraging us to adapt to nature's way. However, free WIFI is accessible when needed.

Things to do around the Lodge
In recent years, this part of the Algarve has emerged as a surfers and hikers' haven as the stunning coastline provides world-class surf and spectacular views. Hugged by Cape St Vincent Natural Park and the beautiful mountains of Monchique, there are lots to explore by car, bike, horse or foot.

The Lodge is also located next to the famous Pilgrim Rota Vincentina hiking route with the option to walk a circular route.

The neighborhood

The Lemon Lodge is closely located to the village of Aljezur, which is less than a 10 min drive or 45 min by foot. The walks in this area are stunning, and fortunately, the Lodge is situated next to the famous Pilgrim walk "Rota Vicentina" with the option for a circular route.

Getting around

We recommend having your car explore the beautiful surroundings. However, if you wish to discover the unbeaten tracks, we suggest renting a 4x4.
Once booked, we will send a clear route description on how to get here.
A pick-up can be arranged at the village of Aljezur when guests arrive after sunset.

Other things to note

We ask our guests to leave their four-legged friends at home as we have Bruce, Sheppy and Lana walking around the land. Feel free to take them on a walk or let them be. Please notify us in case of allergies, and we will take extra care to keep them at a distance from the Lodge.
