Kaag Resort is a boutique apartment complex with an open waterway to the Kaag and Braassemer Lakes. The ideal spot for anyone who is passionate about water!

Your apartment is spacious (91m2), bright and completely private on the first floor. You will have 2 bedrooms with comfortable boxsprings and a 40m2 open plan living room, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The bathroom with a shower and toilet. And you have a private balcony (15m2) that overlooks the marina and the water.

The neighborhood

The Kaag Resort recreation apartments are located right beside the river Leede. This river is an open waterway to the Kaag Lakes, the Braassemmer Lake and the city centre of Leiden. The perfect location to take a tour by boat on Saturdays across the culinary market or pay a visit to one of the cosy little restaurants on the water.

The surroundings offer a wealth of recreation possibilities. The golf course is within walking distance and the same applies to the sauna, tennis courts, sports school, restaurants, supermarket and the centre of Warmond. The Warmonder forest is just opposite the resort. You can easily reach the beach for a nice walk with a fresh sea breeze.

This central location ensures that all possibilities are within reach. Cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leden, Delft and The Hague can be reached within 30min by car!

Getting around

You will be able to explore Warmond and its surroundings on foot or by using the public buses. Regional buses and trains will get you to the surrounding towns and cities, but if you really want to explore the general area, a (hire) car will make your life easier.

Positive: Lage war Top !! Ausblick vom Balkon auf das Wasser und den Booten einfach toll. Küche und Wohnzimmer waren in Ordnung und geräumig. War alles vorhanden was man braucht. Negative: Haare von Vorgänger unter dem Laken !!! Geht gar nicht !! Bodenablauf in der Dusche mit schlechtem Ablaufverhalten !! Die Einstellung der Mischbatterie in der Dusche war mangelhaft !! Es gab nur heiß oder kalt !! Kein Handtuchhalter in der Toilette !! Beim Fön funktionierte die Warmtaste nicht.

After a little tlc to clean a few items/rooms the stay had improved

Positive: Location and size was good Negative: The property was overall grubby. Kitchen had a lot of dirty dishes and cutlery. Bathroom was grubby. Wc was clean.

The property presents itself as a luxurious venue but the dining chairs and couch PU leather was all peeled off and kept peeling whenever you sat on it. The couch was terribly uncomfortable to sit on. The ‘borrowed’ floor towel from NH hotels also did not shout luxury. The venue was a large as advertised but lacked any warmth. The cutlery and cook wear was cheap but perhaps expected. The glasses needed to be rewashed as some had food residue left from previous use.

Zeer matig in prijs kwaliteit

Appartement worden aangeboden als luxe appartementen maar de luxe is er totaal niet. Meubels zijn oud en versleten, keuken aan de kleine kant en een koelkast die alleen maar volle bak staat te koelen(niet meer laag kan zetten), vaatwasser(klein) die niet goed werkt. Het appartement heeft een renovatie nodig!! Wat ze aanbieden komt niet overheen en zeker in de prijs.

Positive: Ruimte en ligging. Negative: Keuken summier ingericht, daar mag wat aandacht aan besteed worden. O a. Broodplank, broodmes, ovenschalen.

Positive: Locatie, dicht bij Leiden. Grote woonkamer met mooi uitzicht. Negative: Slaapkamers waren ivm de voorzijde enorm gehorig en lastig te voorzien van frisse lucht. De keuken was ontzettend klein en qua inhoud (pannen, bestek) erg mager. Badkamer was ook heel klein en had te weinig opbergruimte. De zorg om de afzuiging/alarm gaf geen fijne douchebeleving. De bedden waren los, geen tweepersoonsbed. Voor drie dagen bijna €1500,- is veel voor wat je kreeg.
