The space
Casa Eleonora is a modern villa in a quiet residential area of Lagos, within walking distance of Meia Praia beach.
On the ground floor, an open living room with large windows brings in natural light throughout the day. A fully equipped kitchen connects to the dining area and opens onto the garden. The ground floor also has one bedroom with a queen-size bed and its own private bathroom. Both the living room and this bedroom are fitted with new high-performance air conditioning.
Upstairs, three further bedrooms each have a private bathroom and quality Portuguese satin linen. Two bedrooms have king-size beds; one has a king-size bed and direct access to a balcony with sea views. updated: 3 kings + 1 queen All bedrooms are fitted with acoustic panels and blackout curtains for quiet, restful nights.
The garden is fully fenced and equipped with a private pool — approximately 150 cm at the shallow end and 190 cm at the deep end. A newly built outdoor kitchen with a full BBQ area sits alongside the pool terrace, ready for long evenings outside. The neighborhood
Casa Eleonora is situated in Lagos. Lagos is a small coastal town and one of the most popular and attractive holiday destinations in the Algarve. It has a rich history and today the traces of its glorious history are still visible. Lagos is one of the older cities and was a Moorish city until the 13th century. It is perhaps most famous because in the 15th century it became the centre of the discovery travels. You will still find old churches, the old fortified city walls and the beautiful old mansions.
Lagos has a very laid back southern atmosphere. It attracts a typical mix of surfers, hippie chic couples, outdoor fans and families with children. The past years its popularity has been unprecedented and there are a lot of older and new bars and restaurants. You will find the freshest fish here but you can just as easily find organic health food or vegan or vegetarian meals.
Lagos is all about health and being outdoors. The vast beautiful coastline and the stunning nature surrounding Lagos offer many activities and experiences for every season. Some ideas: golf, (wind)surfing, sailing, boat trips, dolphin watching, horse riding, guided walks, (mountain)biking.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2.5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west side of the south coast), but note that buses and trains only run a few times per day. You can get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a rental car will make your life a lot easier.
You can park on-site for free.

Cancelation policy
Cancelation policy
Guest can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. After this date, 100% of the total booking amount is due. Cleaning fees will be refunded to the guest in case of cancellation within 14 days of arrival. We strongly advise taking cancellation insurance for your trip to avoid possible financial loss.
