The space
Benefiting from the most spectacular ocean views, this three-bedroom property features lots of natural light and tasteful neutral décor.
The open plan layout of the large well-appointed kitchen/dining room offers a spacious social living area with direct access to the fabulous sunny and sheltered patio and swimming pool. There is an enclosed wood-burning stove in the dining area and the property benefits from air conditioning, double glazing and exterior shutters throughout.
The lounge is bright yet offers a cosy feel, with triple aspect windows and doors to access the front and rear gardens providing generous light.
Upstairs, the master bedroom features dual aspect balconies, one to the front overlooking the ocean and one to the rear overlooking the pool and gardens.
The swimming pool area is sheltered and a pool fence is available on request to ensure peace of mind for families with young children or guests seeking added security. Additionally, indulge in relaxation with our Jacuzzi, available on request for just €15 per night. Treat yourself to a soothing soak during your visit! Besides that there is a very inviting BBQ dining area overlooking the well-kept garden.
Located within a few minutes drive to the stunning Monte Clerigo beach and surfer’s paradise Arrifana beach also being a short drive with local amenities such as bars, restaurants and mini market en route, this villa is situated in a prime location in the very sought after area of the urbanisation of Vale da Telha.

The neighborhood
Our sunny villa is located on the outskirts of Aljezur, offering you a quiet, private space without being in the middle of nowhere.
Vale da Telha is a small village in the middle of the Costa Vicentina nature reserve. It is very popular amongst families, nature lovers and surfers alike. A selection of restaurants & bars and a small supermarket are there for your day to day comforts. The larger and historic Aljezur is only 15 minutes away and has everything you need. The town is located right in the middle between famous surf beach Arrifana and the less well known but perhaps even prettier Monte Clerigo beach. Other beaches like Amoreira, Amado and Odeceixe are just a short drive away. Whether you want to relax, go for a surf or enjoy an amazing hike in the nature reserve, Vale da Telha is the place to be. And if you do crave city life at some point, the city of Lagos is only 35 minutes away.
Getting around
From Faro Airport it takes you about 80 minutes by car to get to Vale da Telha. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended as public transport is only available to Aljezur town but not up to Vale da Telha. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.

Rental valley didn’t check in with us on the house post a very strong storm which was surprising given the impact it had in the local area. However, they did rectify an issue with no gas in the bbq when we arrived quickly. Focus of communication prior to arrival was too focused on trying to sell the hot tub heating and pool fencing which felt unnecessary.

An das Klopapier in den Müllwefen mussten wir uns erst gewöhnen. Leider wurde der Pool schnell dreckig, da es Büsche gab die viele Blätter verloren haben. Hatten jeden Tag kleine Ameisenstrassen um den Pool an die wir uns aber gewöhnt haben.

Besonders gefallen hat uns die Nähe zur Steilküste mit den Möglichkeiten zum wandern.
Man muss wissen, dass es sich um einen sehr stark von Ferienhäusern geprägten Ortsteil handelt, in dem nur wenige Einheimische leben. Supermarkt und Restaurants sind mit 2 km Entfernung eher nicht mehr fußläufig.
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, waren von der gesamten Gegend total begeistert.

It’s just a very short drive to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and nearby town with supermarkets. I’d absolutely recommend, we loved our stay here.

Le logement est situé dans un petit village au calme, rien n'est vraiment accessible à proximité mais la tranquillité est 100% présente.
La maison est bien équipée et tout est récent et bien entretenue.
Le jardin et la piscine sont très ensoleillés.
L'accueil par Sanne a été parfait et elle nous a détaillé la zone avec exactitude.

The house is so nicely decorated and has all the things you need to feel at home. You can chill at the pool where the sun shines all day long. The house is perfectly clean and the beds were super comfy.
We loved our breakfasts and candle dinners at the pool.
It’s a quiet area just a 5min walk away from a great viewpoint on the cliffs where you can see the sunset.
All amazing beaches are not so far away- some of them you can reach just walking on the cliffs to Monte Clerigo. The nature here is outstanding.
Sanne our host was amazing and helped us with everything. Hope we see her again visiting Casa Onda because it so worth coming back.

De ter reservado dois dias para descansar, o preço e elevado, mas como queria descansar paguei 355€ noite.
Mas ainda nao eram 9h e estavam jardineiros na moradia a cortar relva, so foram embora ao 12h porque insisti, achei que nao tivemos privacidade, foi muito mau mesmo. So homens na casa, nem podia ir para a piscina com aqueles homens ali.
