Kaag Resort is a boutique apartment complex with an open waterway to the Kaag and Braassemer Lakes. The ideal spot for anyone who is passionate about water!
Your apartment is spacious (100m2), bright and completely private on the second floor. You will have 2 bedrooms with comfortable boxsprings and a 40m2 open plan living room, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. . The bathroom and toilet are separate and you have a private balcony (15m2) that overlooks the marina and the water.

The neighborhood
The Kaag Resort recreation apartments are located right beside the river Leede. This river is an open waterway to the Kaag Lakes, the Braassemmer Lake and the city centre of Leiden. The perfect location to take a tour by boat on Saturdays across the culinary market or pay a visit to one of the cosy little restaurants on the water.
The surroundings offer a wealth of recreation possibilities. The golf course is within walking distance and the same applies to the sauna, tennis courts, sports school, restaurants, supermarket and the centre of Warmond. The Warmonder forest is just opposite the resort. You can easily reach the beach for a nice walk with a fresh sea breeze.
This central location ensures that all possibilities are within reach. Cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leden, Delft and The Hague can be reached within 30min by car!
Near Kaag Resort, there is a charming marina, a railway line, and an air traffic zone. Additionally, boats frequently navigate the nearby rivers and lakes, enhancing the picturesque character of the region. While the location offers beautiful views and convenient access to transportation, it may also come with some noise from passing trains, overhead airplanes, and watercraft traffic.
Getting around
You will be able to explore Warmond and its surroundings on foot or by using the public buses. Regional buses and trains will get you to the surrounding towns and cities, but if you really want to explore the general area, a (hire) car will make your life easier.

Le logement est très agréable avec un séjour spacieux, un grand balcon (même si nous ne l'avons pas utilisé car notre séjour était en hiver), une belle vue et au calme.
Warmond était très bien situé par rapport aux lieux que l'on souhaitait visiter (Amsterdam, La Haye, ...).

Check-in hat nicht funktioniert. Falsche Nummer für den Schlüsselkasten sowie falsche PIN erhalten. Zum Glück war der Call Centre noch telefonisch erreichbar. Ziemlich ein Drama nach einer 8-Stündigen Autofahrt.
Erhaltene Instruktionen zur Parkordnung sind nicht aktuell. Man darf doch nicht parken wo man will. Die Parkplätze sind inzwischen nummeriert. Dh jede Wohnung erhält einen zugewiesenen Parkplatz. Einige Parkplätze sind in einem abgeschlossenen Bereich hinter einem Tor. Ohne den Schlüssel kommt man nach 18 Uhr nicht rein.
Zimmer nach Zigarettenrauch - ein No-Go für uns als nicht-Raucher.
Sehr hellhörig im Gebäude.

Die Küchenaustattung war sehr mau. Für uns vier waren jeweils nur 3 Gläser und Löffel vorhanden. Die Pfannen waren sowas von verteilt und schief. Die Spülmaschine ging leider nach dem 3 Tag kaputt. Andauernd flog der FI Schalter raus und zu guter letzt war das WC verstopft. Wir haben am Anfang per Mail kommuniziert aber nach dem WC Debakel haben wir mal angerufen. Aber die Person sitzt ja in Portugal und die Verständigung war etwas schwierig. Bei der Person war lautes kindergeschrei im Hintergrund zu hören. Aber er hat gleich jemanden geschickt der das WC repariert hat. Das hat gut geklappt.
So viele Mängel hätte ich in dieser schönen Wohnung nicht erwartet und war echt ärgerlich

It is a little bit remote, so going to Leiden required a bit of commute, but it is etremely quiet and perfect for relaxation.
The building itself is like a sort of greenhouse. This is a fantastic idea because it keeps heat inside, and all the rain+dust outside. (but we got "unliky" to have the warmest week in a decade, without any rain, so it was a little bit hot)
Just one con is that rooms are facing the corridor, meaning that when windows are open, you hear all the people getting in and out of their homes.
Lastly, the hosts were extremely helpful and reactive.

Vermieterservice per E-Mail erreichbar, hat immer schnell geantwortet.
Als Rollstuhlfahrerin bin ich leider nicht auf die Terrasse gekommen. War Innen und Außen eine sehr hohe Stufe. Sauberkeit auf der Terrasse ließ zu wünschen übrig.
Die durchgehende Matratze im großen Schlafzimmer fanden wir nicht gut. Wenn sich einer bewegt oder aufsteht, wackelt die ganze Matratze. Auch die Doppelzudecke fanden wir nicht gut. Wir haben uns dann andere Zudecken, die noch in der Wohnung waren, genommen. Die Schlafzimmerfenster gehen zum Treppenhaus hinaus und Leute gehen direkt an den Fenstern entlang. Da es keine Gardinen gab, musste man immer die Verdunklungsvorhänge zugezogen haben, wenn man keine Zuschauer haben wollte. Das hat uns nicht gefallen! Blickdichte Gardinen oder Folienbeklebung an den Fenstern wäre angenehm!
Wenn man nachts die Fenster angekippt hat, hört man die Geräusche und Unterhaltungen im Treppenhaus deutlich.

Locatie is wat drukker dan verwacht (regelmatig trein- en vliegverkeer) maar door de situering van de slaapkamers is dat ‘s nachts niet storend en hebben we prima geslapen. In Warmond zitten ook leuke restaurantjes op loopafstand.
De informatiebrochure was duidelijk en volledig en communicatie was goed.

Das Appartement war gereinigt, allerdings gab es trotzdem noch Spinnweben. Der Balkon war dreckig und vernachlässigt.
Das Appartementhaus liegt in einem Industriegebiet unmittelbar neben einer vielbefahrenen Eisenbahnstrecke und in der Einflugschneise vom Flughafen Amsterdam. Nichts für lärmempfindliche Leute ...
