Kaag Resort is a boutique apartment complex with an open waterway to the Kaag and Braassemer Lakes. The ideal spot for anyone who is passionate about water!
Your apartment is spacious (60m2 living), bright and completely private on the first floor. You will have 1 bedroom with comfortable boxsprings and a 40m2 open plan living room, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The sofa in the living room easily converts into a comfortable sofa bed for 2. The bathroom and toilet are separate and you have a private balcony (10m2) that overlooks the marina and the water.

The neighborhood
The Kaag Resort recreation apartments are located right beside the river Leede. This river is an open waterway to the Kaag Lakes, the Braassemmer Lake and the city centre of Leiden. The perfect location to take a tour by boat on Saturdays across the culinary market or pay a visit to one of the cosy little restaurants on the water.
The surroundings offer a wealth of recreation possibilities. The golf course is within walking distance and the same applies to the sauna, tennis courts, sports school, restaurants, supermarket and the centre of Warmond. The Warmonder forest is just opposite the resort. You can easily reach the beach for a nice walk with a fresh sea breeze.
This central location ensures that all possibilities are within reach. Cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leden, Delft and The Hague can be reached within 30min by car!
Near Kaag Resort, there is a charming marina, a railway line, and an air traffic zone. Additionally, boats frequently navigate the nearby rivers and lakes, enhancing the picturesque character of the region. While the location offers beautiful views and convenient access to transportation, it may also come with some noise from passing trains, overhead airplanes, and watercraft traffic.
Getting around
You will be able to explore Warmond and its surroundings on foot or by using the public buses. Regional buses and trains will get you to the surrounding towns and cities, but if you really want to explore the general area, a (hire) car will make your life easier.

If you have noisy people in the apartment next to you, you can hear them clearly, but signage is clear that noise has to stop at 10pm so too disturbance shouldn’t occur.

La vue... magnifique et tellement sereine.
L'appartement était super bien équipé et très propre.
Warmond se trouve en voiture à 15 min de Leiden, 30 min de Delft, 10 min de Corpus, 25 min de Keukenhof... localisation centrale parfaite. A 5 min en voiture dans Warmond, il y a un supermarché et une boulangerie.
Je n'étais pas convaincue de passer par une agence sur Airbnb mais les instructions étaient claires, ils furent super réactifs.
A améliorer ou savoir :
- pas de sac poubelle à l'arrivée (dommage car pour le reste il y a de tout)
- le canapé n'est pas très confortable, même notre fils de 8 ans a donné ce feedback
- la douche n'a pas de porte ou de rideau donc il y a de l'eau partout
- le complexe se trouve dans un zoning donc il faut sortir de cette zone pour se balader

Leider war das Bett etwas durchgelegen und am Abend fehlte auf der Couch eine gemütliche Kuscheldecke – besonders für die kalten Abende.
Insgesamt kann ich die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. :)

Negativ:Die FeWo liegt im Industriegebiet, inkl mäßigem Flug-und Bahnlärm.Die Suche nach ihr gestaltete sich zur Schnitzeljagd. Das Schlafzimmer grenzte an den öffentlichen Flur und war nur mit geschlossenen Vorhängen ein "privater"Raum. Deutsche Fernsehsender gab es außer N3 und WDR nicht.

It was difficult for us to get into Amsterdam though. The busses weren't running so we had to walk 3km to the train station. The walk is not too bad though.
But other than that, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Er zit een kink in de kabel bij het verkrijgen van de sleutel. De correspondentie voorafgaand aan het verblijf was zeer informatief en in vlekkeloos Nederlands. Als je deze ontvangt via e-mail thuis, kun je niet bijtijds de code ontvangen om de sleutelkluis te openen; deze wordt pas om 16.00 uur op de dag van aankomst verstrekt. Dus gevraagd of de code per SMS of telefonisch kon worden gegeven. Dan blijk je alleen in (gebrekkig) Engels te kunnen communiceren. Ondanks het verzoek is de code niet per SMS of telefonisch doorgegeven en moest opnieuw ter plekke gebeld worden om het gebouw binnen te kunnen komen. Het is best begrijpelijk dat de toegangscode op het laatste moment wordt verstrekt i.v.m. misbruik door mensen die voortijdig hiervan gebruik maken, maar de procedure van toegangsinformatie verzenden per e-mail werkt niet in gevallen dat gasten geen gebruik maken van deze faciliteit op een mobiele telefoon. Procedure moet absoluut worden herzien.
Een ander punt: met gesloten ramen is het appartement goed geluidsdicht, maar buiten op het terras blijken de treinen van/naar Amsterdam op een vierbaansspoor op ca. 150 m afstand voorbij te denderen en wordt ook pijnlijk duidelijk dat het in de aanvliegroute van de Kaagbaan van Schiphol ligt.

Für die Sauberkeit bekommt diese Unterkunft einen Abzug.  Staub und Schmutz wurde nur oberflächlich entfernt, wir haben unter dem Sofa noch Bonbonpapier und andere Dinge von den Vormietern gefunden.
Die Betten und auch die Schlafcouch hätten dringend neue Matratze nötig. Die Matratzen im Schlafzimmer waren komplett durchgelegen. Auf der Schlafcouch konnte man jede Spiralfeder im Rücken spüren.

The house was lovely - beautiful decor and very comfortable beds. I was grateful the owners helped us with extra pillows too.
There was a delay with checkin which was a bit frustrating at the time. I’d recommend being proactive with getting the code for the door so you don’t get stuck like we did. However it was likely just a once off, and everything went really smoothly from there. I would definitely recommend this beautiful apartment. We would love to return again one day. 😊

La voie ferrée est à quelques centaines de mètres, on entend les nombreux trains passer ce qui peu être gênant l été avec la fenêtre ouverte mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé en plein mois d octobre.
Si vous souhaitez vous rendre à Amsterdam nous vous conseillons la gare de Sassenheim située à 5 mn en voiture vous y serez en 30 mn.

Wie erwähnt ist die Wohnung toll. Die Sauberkeit lies allerdings zu wünschen übrig. Gerade im Küchenbereich. Mülltütenhalter total verdreckt. Küchenschränke mit Fett befingert und der Kühlschrank ging gar nicht. Wir haben alles was wir in Gebrauch genommen haben vorher gespült und gesäubert. Der Wohnbereich war sehr staubig, sogar die schöne Deko... verstaubt. Nicht von ein paar Wochen, sondern leider länger. So auch der Boden. Der Ablauf Waschbecken im Badezimmer war verstopft, was auch den Ablauf in der Dusche beeinträchtigt hat. Durch die Größe der WG für 2 Personen konnte man es einigermaßen ausblenden. Leider waren die Polster der kleinen Balkonmöbel Nass und sehr schmutzig. Wir haben uns damit arrangiert.

Ein Sieb bzw. Durchschlag ist auch nicht vorhanden, das sollte eigentlich zur Grundausstattung da zu gehören.
Kleiner Minuspunkt die Lage betreffend - viele Flugzeuge im Landeanflug ( Schiphol ) und eine Bahnlinie in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Lärmbelästigung an sich hält sich allerdings im Rahmen, oder man gewöhnt sich recht schnell
daran. Alles in allem eine mehr als angenehme Unterkunft, wir würden sie auf jeden Fall wieder buchen !

Leiden ist sehr schön, 15 min. nach Katwijk aan Zee, 30min. nach Den Haag oder Scheveningen, was will man mehr.
Check-In geht über Whats-App, worüber man bei Ankunft den Code für den Schlüsselsave bekommt.
Die Bahnlinie Den Haag-Amsterdam ist in Sichtweite und viel befahren. Hat uns nicht gestört da die Züge relativ leise und im Schlafzimmer nicht zu hören sind. Im Hochsommer, bei offener Balkontür sieht das für einen Sofaschläfer im Wohnraum eventuell anders aus. Die Gegend liegt eindeutig im Anfluggebiet zum Flughafen Amsterdam. Nachts war aber alles ruhig. (Nachtflugverbot?)

Die Bedienung der Entlüftungsanlage war kompliziert, z.B. der Schalter für das Bad in der Küche. Warum nicht automatisch mit der Beleuchtung im Bad gekoppelt? Die Beleuchtung über den Esszimmertisch könnte etwas heller sein, ich konnte darunter nur mühsam die Zeitung lesen. Der Tisch ansonsten schön, auch die übrige Einrichtung in Ordnung.
Sehr ärgerlich war die gesamte Kommunikation, die zunächst immer auf englisch erfolgte. Erst auf Nachfrage erfolgte eine Mail in deutscher Sprache. Am Telefon konnte ich mich gar nicht verständigen und nachfragen, sehr ärgerlich und nicht kundenfreundlich.
Die Schlüsselübergabe war ebenfalls kompliziert, ich bekam lediglich ein Foto per Mail zugesandt, ohne weitere Erklärungen, erst mit Hilfe eines Bewohners konnte ich den Schlüssel aus dem "Schließfach" entnehmen. In einer nachfolgenden Mail wurde ich vom Vermieter beschuldigt, dass "Schließfach" beschädigt zu haben. Eine Unterstellung ohne jegliche Grundlage. Da wir unseren Schlüssel hatten, brauchten wir nicht mehr daran gehen. Eine Entschuldigung für diese Unterstellung ist bislang nicht erfolgt.
Ein weiteres Problem sehe ich in der Kaution und deren komplette Auszahlung. Es erfolgte keine persönliche Übergabe der Wohnung und keine persönliche Abnahme beim Verlassen der Wohnung. Wie will ich später nachweisen, dass wir die Wohnung schadenfrei verlassen haben. So fehlte z.B. eine Kaffeetasse, wie kann ich das beweisen?

El sofá cama tenía los muelles un poco salidos. Se notaba que el colchón estaba ya bastante gastado. La conexión en guagua desde la estación no es muy buena porque la zona está en obras y la parada de bus está bastante lejos.
