The space
Casa May is the perfect place for a luxurious and comfortable relaxing holiday with your family! Located in the heart of Vale da Telha, close to the local bars and restaurants, combined with a beautiful view and peace and quiet of nature. You find all you need for a perfect time!
The house including a private studio offers a big garden with a swimming pool, different outside chill areas and a BBQ area. A big, spacious, fully equipped kitchen and dining area are inside.
In the main house you will find two bedrooms on the ground floor: the first has a double bed, and the 2nd has 2 x single beds, in the hallway a bathroom with a bath and toilet. The upper floor of the main house also has two bedrooms: one with two single beds and the other with a double bed, you will find a bathroom with a bath and a toilet in the hallway.
The studio is attached to the house, but with private access, and provides a double bed, an extra kitchenette, bathroom with shower and toilet.

The neighborhood
Our sunny villa is located on the outskirts of Aljezur, offering you a quiet, private space without being in the middle of nowhere.
Vale da Telha is a small village in the middle of the Costa Vicentina nature reserve. It is very popular amongst families, nature lovers and surfers alike. A selection of restaurants & bars and a small supermarket are there for your day-to-day comforts. The larger and historic Aljezur is only 15 minutes away and has everything you need. The town is right in the middle between the famous surf beach Arrifana and the less well-known but perhaps even prettier Monte Clerigo beach. Other beaches like Amoreira, Amado and Odeceixe are just a short drive away. So whether you want to relax, surf or enjoy a fantastic hike in the nature reserve, Vale de Telha is the place to be. And if you crave city life at some point, the city of Lagos is only 35 minutes away.
Getting around
From Faro Airport, it takes you about 80 minutes by car to get to Vale da Telha. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended.

Ich empfehle ein Auto, da es etwas abgelegen ist.
Es ist so eine schöne Landschaft- wir haben wunderbare Wanderungen gemacht.
Nach einem anfänglichen kommunikativen Missverständnis lief alles sehr gut . Rental Valley war sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend - Danke für den late checkout.

Leider ist hier alles so in die Jahre gekommen, dass wir mal eine Bewertung / Beurteilung abgeben.Wir haben eine super Zeit gehabt, aber wenn man die Punkte jetzt so liest muss man sich eigentlich schon wundern... Der Pool ist undicht und vergammelt. Die Dichtungen fallen raus. Die Skimmer funktionieren nicht, da sonst noch mehr Wasser rausläuft. Wir mussten das Haus erstmal gründlich putzen. Die Unterlagen unter den Betten waren stark verdreckt (eklig). Die Bäder, vor allem die Duschen sind wirklich schmutzig. (müssen einfach ersetzt werden) Die Ausstattung passt einfach nicht zu einem Haus dieser Preisklasse. Die Poolliegen sind gefährlich, da alle gebrochen, Verletzungsgefahr. Die Auflagen der Liegen sind zerrissen und eklig. Stromkabel hängen so an der Wand rum, Lampen sind kaputt, einfach alles recht lieblos bzw. phantasielos. Die Bilder von allen Punkten stelle ich der Verwaltung gerne zur Verfügung. Vielleicht hilft die Bewertung ja was und es wird mal was renoviert am Objekt, wäre toll.

The studio was not properly clean and we could smell mold. Perhaps, this area is not regularly used.
Our communication with Rental Valley was always pleasant, although we did not feel real interest in solving some issues we have found. We expected more for a rental this expensive.
Besides all that, we really enjoyed our stay and we recommend Casa May and the Vale da Telha region.

La zona exterior es increible y pudimos aprovecharla bien.
Ls ubicación es buena, contrandose a 45 mins caminando de la playa de arrifana y 7 mins en auto.

Propreté et usure des équipements extérieurs à revoir. Mauvaise literie. Les équipements extérieurs sont en mauvais états. Un seul éclairage extérieur qui fonctionne côté terrasse, ce qui est très insuffisant. À notre arrivée la piscine était sale. Malgré nos demandes, elle n’a été nettoyée que le mercredi suivant soit 2 jours avant notre départ ! À notre arrivée on nous a interdit de jeter le papier toilette dans les WC car tuyauterie vieillissante ! C’est un comble ! Hôte pas réactif. Très déçus !
