Great villa but needs some attention on the outside. The balcony railing was broken prior to arrival which was dangerous as a drop the other side and also multiple glass fragments on the floor which we cut out feet on. Microwave broken reported but not replaced through stay. Downstairs bed broken, one of the slats kept falling out. Overall an enjoyable stay.

A modern villa in a quiet and rural location giving a glimpse of a side of Portugal I had not seen before. Going to bed after a nice meal, a soak in the pool then waking up to a fantastic sunrise and to the sound of the cock crowing was really relaxing. Being 5. min from the Autodroma was perfect for our needs, a day @ the track and an easy drive home made it a pleasurable stay.

Positive: I loved the the modern style of the villa ♥️ and the peaceful valley location! Beautiful sunsets🌞 I would definitely return. Negative: A little tired in places (marks on walls, some kitchen doors not aligned correctly).

We were not told about the Buliding work next door. The pool and garden is covered in brick dust and as a woman I did not feel comfortable being in a swimsuit in front of multiple workmen. Due to the wind this building site bangs throughout the day and night. During the weekend we heard music, dog barking and fireworks until midnight. There is a caravan parked opposite the driveway making it hard to get on and off the drive. The driveway is very steep and the underneath of the car scrapes getting off and on. The house itself was clean but needs a little maintenance. The front door handle falls off, the shutter in the kitchen is broke, most shower head spray and leak. If was fine for anyone planning on using it for a base not a holiday home.

Amazing villa to stay at! So spacious and accommodating, there was 7 of us staying. Location was a bit far out from the centre of portimao (25 min drive) but you can catch Ubers in and out. I’d say call your Ubers early as they can take around 10-30 mins to arrive. Stunning views from the balconies and the pictures of the villa are exactly as shown. Thank you for having us!

We stayed at this lovely villa with a group of us. We had an amazing stay! The pool is amazing and the views are great it’s quite and secluded and very private. The rooms are great fitted with aircon, even if we had a few issues with the bathroom they were so helpful and got someone to come and sort it out asap and the issue was solved which was great. It’s not too far from portimao, because we were a group we where able to share a taxi each time which was only £2 each. If you have a family then I think a car is bette to rent as there’s a private garage you can park your car there. All facilities are available to you in the house and lovely air-con which was needed as it was very hot. Overall great stay!

Wir hätten eine tolle Zeit in der Villa. Sowohl das Haus als auch die Gartenanlage inkl Pool sind sehr modern und top ausgestattet. Gab es Fragen (Warmwasser ging nicht), wurde uns sogar am Feiertag innerhalb einer viertel Stunde geantwortet und das Problem sofort durch einen Handwerker behoben. !!!!Achtung!!!! bei Reisen mit Kleinkind: es gibt keine "gesicherten" Flächen zum Krabbeln oder Spielen. Entweder ist der Pool, oder eine Treppe, oder die abfallende Gartengrenze maximal 1 Meter entfernt. Dennoch, ohne Kleinkind würden wir sofort wieder kommen :)

Unfortunately this could have been a good holiday but was ruined by the construction next door and the unclean conditions of the outside furniture. Rental valley prolonged communications where I wasnt covered by airbnb by the time I contacted airbnb directly. Their was also dog poo out in the garden. Rental valley compensated a very small amount which was inconsiderate to what we had to deal with. Airbnb made rental valley compensate us slightly more but in hindsight we should have got up and left after the issues where discovered. Would not recommend rental valley customer service this could have been resolved with a satisfactory financial compensation amount.

Villa Celestine - monte canalas Algarve
Charming villa and amazing views but unfortunately let itself down a little with the details. There was insufficient cookware/glassware in kitchen to cope with more than 3 or 4 people. The gardens and pool area needed a really good tidy up as a bit over grown and many weeds growing. There also needs to be more appropriate outdoor furniture for the terraces. Both of the previous points important as the location of the villa is very remote. On the plus side though the villa layout is great all all rooms have great views. The air con works very effectively which was very important in 40c plus temperatures. All in all we enjoyed our stay but in this rental bracket you’d expect these details to be sorted and could then have been a holiday to remember.
