We could not have loved this place more. It’s exactly as pictured and could not be more cozy and comfortable. The house is in the perfect location to explore all of Tavira by foot, but it’s so lovely and quiet at night, you’d have no idea you were just steps away from the festivities. Beds are super comfortable and the cross breeze through the house keeps the temperature perfect. The hosts are crystal clear with all info about the house, great local suggestions , and instructions for check in / check out. We loved the little terrace out back and our host Rob went out of his way to make sure all are needs (and then some) were met. We’d highly recommend this wonderful home and will be bank again for sure!

We absolutely loved this gorgeous house. It was a real home from home in lovely Tavira. The house is full of character, and has everything you could need during your stay. There’s lots of little details which make the difference, for example, soft throws to snuggle under, lots of hooks and hangers, fans, full length mirrors, big fluffy towels, a good sized tv with Netflix, great WiFi etc, etc. The beds are comfy, the shower is great, and the location is amazing, in a central peaceful little area with orange trees growing outside. Loved it!

A lovely property with good facilities in a central location.
Positive: N/A Negative: One shower had no receptacle for the shower head and the other shower receptacle was loose. The stairs could have been improved with a hand rail on the right side of the stairs. The top floor bed was described as a twin but the two beds were pushed together and the sheets went across as if it was a double bed.

if you're traveling with a family or you want to enjoy ocean - this is the best place you can find. Unlike Faro or other places that you might be considering - Tavira has 11km long white sand beach, so it can't be overcrowded. We went through the entire south shore by car during our stay there and you won't find any better place. You have to take a ferry to get to the beach, but it's right next to this place, like 1 min walk. There're dozens of amazing restaurants around in a walking distance. place itself is amazing, has all amenities, lot's of space, you don't hear any street noise. 50% of time we were able to park right in front of the door, in other 50% within 2 mins walk, and that was in august. amazing place, amazing location. probably the best you can get if you want to enjoy the ocean and food.

Lovely house close to the ferry, cafes and downtown Tavira. Ideal for families. The listing does not specify but there is a washer and a baby crib. This would have been helpful to know before we arrived with a baby crib and enough clothes for the week. It was the perfect size for two small families with kids - we cooked and ate outside every night - quiet too!

Positive: Localização excelente. A casa e sua disposição no geral. No geral foi uma estadia agradável. Mas há pontos a melhorar tendo em consideração o preço cobrado. Negative: Falta de ar condicionado no primeiro piso. Dadas as altas temperaturas, as ventoinhas não foram suficientes e as noites foram penosas nesses dois quartos. As frigideiras estão em mau estado e precisam de ser mudadas. Não usámos as que estavam disponíveis dado a sua condição. A falta de uma máquina de café expresso. Tivemos que levar uma nossa. A limpeza também poderia ser melhor uma vez que uma das casas de banho não estava em condições, escuso-me aos pormenores. E no sofá da sala havia uma infestação de bichos de prata. Os quartos do primeiro piso não tinham lençóis de cama, apenas edredon, o que para uma estadia no Verão em quartos sem ar condicionado não faz qualquer sentido. As fronhas também era pequenas para o tamanho das almofadas e as mesmas estavam ensalsichadas dentro das pequenas fronhas! Simplesmente não faz sentido...tivemos que arranjar duas fronhas pequenas por almofada para terem uma altura normal...

Loved staying at this house in Tavira. It’s generous in size, location is really central, but was quiet and felt private. Easy access to everywhere. Only pay parking right outside but plenty of free parking in nearby roads, so very easy. Would definitely rent this house again. Thanks.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We just stayed at Casa do Centro for a week, and we had a lovely experience. The home is traditional, charming and spacious. The furnishings were comfortable, especially the beds. The area is very walkable - about 1-2 blocks from the riverside, where there are many shops and restaurants. Many were closed because we were visiting in January, but that's to be expected, and it was still not difficult to find things. Check out Nikiti restaurant, about a block away - excellent!! The area around the town of Tavira is lovely as well. My husband is an avid cyclist and was able to easily find challenging gravel routes in the nearby hills. We loved the area and Casa do Centro, and would love to return some day!!

Nossa estadia de uma semana foi maravilhosa. É um lugar onde você realmente se sente em casa. Decoração rústica, confortável e aconchegante. Bem equipada e tudo funcionou bem, lareira, churrasqueira, banhos. Localização ótima e fácil de caminhar pelo centro todo. A rua é muito tranquila e sempre foi fácil estacionar o carro. Recomendamos. E queremos voltar logo.
