The space
Kaag Resort is a boutique apartment complex with an open waterway to the Kaag and Braassemer Lakes. The ideal spot for anyone passionate about water!
Your apartment is spacious (70m2 living), bright, and completely private on the first floor. You will have 1 bedroom with comfortable boxsprings, a 40m2 open plan living room, and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The sofa in the living room easily converts into a comfortable sofa bed for 2. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and you have a private balcony (10m2) that overlooks the marina and the water.

The neighborhood
The Kaag Resort recreation apartments are located right beside the river Leede. This river is an open waterway to the Kaag Lakes, the Braassemmer Lake and the city centre of Leiden. The perfect location to take a tour by boat on Saturdays across the culinary market or pay a visit to one of the cosy little restaurants on the water.
The surroundings offer a wealth of recreation possibilities. The golf course is within walking distance and the same applies to the sauna, tennis courts, sports school, restaurants, supermarket and the centre of Warmond. The Warmonder forest is just opposite the resort. You can easily reach the beach for a nice walk with a fresh sea breeze.
This central location ensures that all possibilities are within reach. Cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leden, Delft and The Hague can be reached within 30min by car!
Near Kaag Resort, there is a charming marina, a railway line, and an air traffic zone. Additionally, boats frequently navigate the nearby rivers and lakes, enhancing the picturesque character of the region. While the location offers beautiful views and convenient access to transportation, it may also come with some noise from passing trains, overhead airplanes, and watercraft traffic.
Getting around
You will be able to explore Warmond and its surroundings on foot or by using the public buses. Regional buses and trains will get you to the surrounding towns and cities, but if you really want to explore the general area, a (hire) car will make your life easier.

Linen, towel and kitchen utensils are provided.
For commute, there is walking distance bus stop - Bus 50 to Leiden Central. And from central we easy to go anywhere and intercity.
We enjoyed the stay and will definitely consider this place when we visit Leiden again. Thank you!

The building is well managed. The apartments were always very clean and contained everything needed for a short stay including a washing machine.
The process of moving in/out was very smooth. Every time I had interactions with the management company or the owner, it has been very nice.
The apartment is located at walking distance from the center of Warmond where you can do your groceries and find some restaurants. It is also just a 10-15 min drive to Leiden (same time by bike). If you have a car, the parking is convenient and there were always enough available spots. The balcony must be nice to enjoy when closer to summer time.
The only small down sides are that the apartment is in a not so charming small industrial area (although the view from the balconies is actually nice). And also the outside building metallic frame can make it a bit loud if your neighbors are not so quite in the corridor.

Die Wohnung ist geräumig und sauber und hat alles, um sich wohlfühlen.
Nach Leiden sind es 3km zu Fuß. Viele schöne und interessante Orte sind innerhalb von 30-45 Minuten Autofahrt zu erreichen. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung.

Na pokoji jsme měli soukromí, vše bylo čisté a nejúžasnější byl výhled do přístaviště z balkonu.
Bydlení je umístěno v klidné lokalitě na dosah Amsterodamu a dalších větších měst. Autem jsme se rychle dostali, kam jsme potřebovali.
Určitě doporučuji 🙂

Kommukation ist 1A.
Habe einmal den Schlüssel im Zimmer liegen lassen und es kam direkt eine Antwort und jemand der das Zimmer ausgesperrt hat.
Lage auch top. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten in der schönen Stadt leiden.
Ich kann die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. 😀

Évacuation d'eau de la douche à revoir salle de bain inondée au bout de 5min.
Préciser que la résidence est entièrement non fumeur même sur le balcon ou autour du bâtiment avant d'effectuer le paiement de la réservation et non une semaine avant d'arriver.

Le mobilier comme les canapes et les chaises sont usées, manque de propreté a ce sujet.
Ce logement convient surtout pour 2 adultes.
Nous etions 4. 2 adultes, 1 enfant et 1 bebe. Il ny avait pas de lit bebe a notre arrivée. Et pas de lit de prévu pour notre autre enfant. Seuls 2 lits de prêts. Le temps de reponse a ete assez long a notre avis. Le loueur a trouvé une solution pour le lit bebe. Nous avons du nous debrouiller avec un plaid en notre possession pour notre fille.
Manque de sérieux a ce sujet...

A l'arrivée il manquait un drap et une serviette. J'ai immédiatement envoyé un mail et tout s'est réglé très rapidement.
Pour visiter Amsterdam nous avons pris le bus (10 minutes) pour nous rendre à la gare de Leiden. Leiden (ville natale de Rembrandt) est aussi à visiter, et à l'office de tourisme il y a un monsieur qui parle français.
A Warmond il y a aussi des parcs pour se promener, très sympa...
Nous avons été enchantés de notre séjour dans cet appartement

Ik wil gaarne terugkomen op het verblijf van ons bij Kaag Resort in de maand oktober.
Bij aankomst en tijdens ons verblijf is het appartement niet het verwachtingspatroon wat wij gewend zijn in vergelijk met de prijs die wij betaald hebben.
Volgende punten
> op de muur waren spatten van dode muggen
> op balkon lagen vuile sokken van vorige huurder
> terrasstoelen zaten onder de spinnenwebben
> vloer (carpet) smerig / smoezelig en onder de vlekken
> raam onder de etensresten
> pannen aangetast vet, lek , aangebrand ( zelf nieuwe pannen aangekocht, omdat deze te vies waren om in te koken)
> gordijnen van de slaapkamer zijn stuk en hingen half naar beneden
> koelkast onder het ijs en vuil
> oven zijn geen instructies
> servies niet schoon
> wasmand ontbreekt
> theedoeken met gaten
> beddegoet met zwarte vlekken
> handdoeken versleten
Al met al niet om aan te bevelen om dit appartement voor deze prijs te verhuren.

The staff from Rental Valley was very friendly and they answer questions within a few minutes.
The Room had an amazing view and looked even better than the pictures.
Many must see spots like Amsterdam, Den Haag or Noordwijk are near and easy to reach….
I highly recommend this accomodation !!

Bahnlinie in Sichtweite. Betten und Sofa waren nicht sehr bequem. Schlafzimmerfenster zum Innenflur. Es gab nur eine Gardine zum verdunkeln, so dass das Schlafzimmer die meiste Zeit abgedunkelt war.

Die Unterkunft war groß und gut, etwas laut durch die Klimaanlage und den Kühlschrank, so dass ich nicht noch einmal mit 3 Gästen kommen würde, weil einer immer auf dem Sofa schlafen muss und es dort schon sehr laut ist. Ansonsten war die Unterkunft wie beschrieben.

I didn’t receive any information about my key even 1 hour before arriving to the location, I had to call to get the code for the key-box. The person at the call center was very helpful though and sent it immediately after i called. Be careful when leaving the windows open, when i arrived there were 3 big moths in the apartment, which is understandable and a consequence of being so close to the water.

Ich habe einen großen Spiegel in der Wohnung vermisst !
Das Schlafsofa ist sehr schlecht von der Matratze , leider konnte ich wegen dem Schnarchen von meinem Freund nicht im Wohnzimmer schlafen. Diese sollte erneuert werden. Hatte überlegt zu drei Frauen zu vereisen, aber das geht in dieser Wohnung wegen dem schlechten Schlafsofa nicht.
