    Slight negatives first. The property was advertised as pet friendly and with TV/internet. The instructions prior to check in said no pets and no TV. We resolved the first issue but it did cause worry as we were already travelling. There was a modem but the internet signal was weak to the point of being unusable. The only issue with the property was the drainage in one of the bathrooms was poor. Turning on the basin tap and the water returned through the shower outlet. I think it would be helpful to let guests know in advance that toilet paper cannot be disposed of in the toilet. The last small point was that there was nowhere within reasonable walking distance so the car was essential. None of the above really affected what was a lovely restful stay, with excellent proper double beds and quality mattresses. The villa was exquisitely designed and furnished with a wonderful eye for detail and a continuous theme. The outside spaces were superb including the pool. The kitchen was great too. Overall, a great stay in a beautiful location.

    Bis zu unserem Abreisetag war alles sehr gut und unkompliziert. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Am Abreisetag wurden wir allerdings beschuldigt, eine Badfliesse kaputt gemacht zu haben, obwohl diese bereits bei unserem Check-In kaputt war. Das Reinigungsteam hat es angeblich erst dann gesehen. Das ist äußerst unprofessionell und hinterlässt leider ein schlechteres Bild. Der Check-In und Check-Out wurde nicht persönlich durchgeführt. Tipp an alle: macht im vornherein Bilder von Beschädigungen an der Unterkunft.

    Keine Sonnenschirme und Liegen. Der Hinweis es würde eine Überdachung geben ist nicht hilfreich, wenn ab Mittag dort kein Schatten vorhanden ist. In Häusern vergleichbarer Preislage ist das selbstverständlich. Die Duscharmaturen sind teilweise defekt bzw. sollten dringend repariert oder erneuert werden. Das entspricht nicht der Preiskategorie.

    The house overall is great and met our needs for the few days we where there. The house is larger than comes across in the pictures to be honest and the pool/backyard area is great for hanging out. I do feel for the price they charge they should up their game a bit with regard to some of the kitchen equipment like pans which are looking very nasty. The pool floats they had or someone left were all with holes. Sadly we were not really able to use one of the bedrooms as there was a VERY strong septic smell coming from the bathroom in the front room, so we only used 2 of the rooms after the first night. As someone who has an Airbnb as well I felt the price is way too high for the condition of the house. That said we had an awesome time in Arrifana and it's a great base to explore Aljezur.

  21. Unfortunately a NEGLECTED & DIRTY farm/beach house!

    Positive: The exterior space, garden and pool are quite good and comfortable. The house how and where it’s built should be amazing place from what you see in the pictures. Negative: Lack of cleanliness and care such as, blood stains from squashed mosquitoes against the walls and ceilings, cobwebs everywhere, house full of dust, dirty sheets with stains, beds propped up on logs. Dirty windows and shutters that don't close/lock and could be a focus of insecurity. Untended garden grass and bushes. Basically the house is fantastic in the photos, in reality it is clearly neglected, unfortunately it’s a victim of abandonment and mistreatment. Not value for the money! I would like to talk with the owners because who is managing the house is doing a terrible job.

    Wir waren zu viert in dem schönen Haus, das geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist. Die Kommunikation mit Rental Valley war einwandfrei, wir haben immer schnell antworten bekommen und uns vor Anreise sehr gut informiert gefühlt. :)

    Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Jedoch war die Küchenausstattung nicht gerade gut. Wenn man ein Haus wie dieses bucht, möchte man natürlich viel kochen. Das war sehr schwer mit der dort vorhandenen Ausstattung, welche auch sehr dreckig war. Und leider kam auf unsere Anregungen, wie dass Türen und die Außendusche nicht funktionieren, lediglich „hat noch nie funktioniert“ vom Besitzer zurück. Ansonsten aber ein tolles Haus mit viel Platz. Wäre die Ausstattung in der Küche besser, könnte ich es zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Lediglich den Punkt mit der Kommunikation zu den Türen der Außendusche, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen da wir über dieses Thema keine Kommunikation in dem airbnb Chat mit Ihnen finden konnten. Wir werden auch dies noch einmal überprüfen und hoffen, Sie erneut bei und willkommen heißen zu können, um Ihnen die Ausbesserungen zu zeigen :-) !

    Zunächst war alles super. Die Kommunikation und auch die Flexibilität des Check-Ins war gut. Zum Zeitpunkt der Schlüsselübergabe befanden sich noch Gärtner bei der Arbeit, was uns nicht weiter gestört hat, da Sie ,,nur sie nur noch alle sauber machen und sich um den Pool kümmern“. 10 Minuten später waren die Gärtner weg und der Pool sah sehr verdreckt aus (es schien als wurde dieser seit längerer Zeit nicht mehr gereinigt). Dann viel uns schnell auf, dass das Wasser im Haus nicht floss. Es lag scheinbar an städtischen Arbeiten und müssten bald wieder funktionieren. Zudem wurde nach und nach der Dreck im Haus auffällig. Egal wo man hingeguckt hat, es war nicht richtig sauber. Das schlimmste war jedoch der Geruch, der zu Beginn durch des Durchzuges nicht auffiel (es roch alles modrig und nassen Hund). Nachdem bis 18 Uhr immernoch kein Wasser lief und sich auch noch nicht um den Pool gekümmert wurde, sind wir in ein anderes Hotel gezogen, da wir uns einfach nicht wohl gefühlt haben.

    Wir hatten eine wunderbare , erholsame Zeit in dem schönen, komfortablen und sehr liebevoll mit vielen besonderen Einzelheiten und sehr stilvoll eingerichteten Haus. Da wir viel Glück mit dem sonnigen Wetter hatten, konnten wir in der Sonne am Pool liegen, dort auch schwimmen und schön auf der Terrasse essen. Die Hecke fängt den Wind gut ab, so dass wir es, auch als es sehr windig war, dort angenehm warm hatten. Mit dem Auto kann man schöne Ausflüge in die Umgebung machen. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Mechthild & Frank

    Wir hatten eine wunderbaren Zeit in dem Haus und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und gemütlich, daher haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der Pool und die Terrasse sind ebenfalls traumhaft. Ich kann dieses Haus einfach nur empfehlen. Danke für den angenehmen Aufenthalt!
