This lovely 3 bed, 3 bath townhouse with ample private outdoor space, golf course view and large shared pool is the perfect location for a comfortable and relaxed family getaway, close to Sagres and right next to a golf resort.
The space
Ensolarada translates to 'full of the sun', which is exactly what this house is. Thanks to the spacious rooms and large windows on all sides, this house is light and bright and offers you all the comfort you can wish for during your family holiday in the sunny Algarve.
The house has 3 bedrooms, two with (90x200) twin beds that can easily be pushed together and one (1.50x200) double room with an en-suite bathroom. One twin room and a separate bathroom are located on the same floor as the living/dining room and kitchen, while the other 2 bedrooms and bathrooms are located one floor below, with access to a small terrace. The kitchen if fully equipped with modern appliances and gives access to a sunny balcony with outdoor furniture, perfect for those late summer diners. And once the food is cleared away, you can move to the roof terrace to enjoy the last rays of the day on the comfortable lounge set.
Our townhouse is located in the Quinta da Encosta Velha resort area, which in turn is located directly next to the Santo Antonio golf resort. You can view the green of this resort from this house, so it's perfect for golfers too! The shared condominium pool is spacious and located just behind the townhouse. The nearest supermarket (Intermarche) and a handful of restaurants can be found in Budens, which can also easily be reached on foot. From Budens, you can explore the area's many lovely and traditional beach towns, like Salema (just down the road), Sagres, Burgau, Luz and Lagos.

The neighborhood
Our holiday home in Budens, a small village close to Lagos. It is very popular amongst golf lovers, families, surfers and nature lovers.
A selection of restaurants & bars are there for you to explore both local and international food. We recommend trying fresh fish and seafood dishes! There is a large supermarket just minutes away by car, which can be reached on foot as well. The beach of Salema is a 5 minutes drive. Other beaches like Burgau and Praia da Luz, are just a short drive away. Whether you want to relax, go for a surf or enjoy an amazing hike in nature, Budens is the place to be. And if you do crave the city life at some point, Lagos is only 15 minutes away. Towards the other direction you will find Vila do Bispo and Sagres, which both have lots of bars and restaurants as well as stunning beaches to offer as well.
Getting around
You can reach Budens in just over an hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 4 to 5 hours. The last train stop is in Lagos, from where you have to continue by bus or taxi.
Although public transport is available and safe, if you really want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier as public transport is limited. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.

Free cancellation up to 14 day(s) before arrival, then 100% cancellation fee.
Guest can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. After this date, 100% of the total booking amount is due. Cleaning fees will be refunded to the guest in case of cancellation within 14 days of arrival. We strongly advise taking cancellation insurance for your trip to avoid possible financial loss.

Chair in bedroom had an unsightly mark on
Tv did not work. I emailed them a few times and they could not find a solution to it.
It was cold in the evenings and there was no instructions for the wall heaters and they took a while to warm up.
The main lounge window was full of condensation each morning.

The mattresses were not that comfortable for the 4 of us, we stayed only in the two downstair bedrooms. We had a lovely time. Would definitely recommend this home.

The map on the Guide shows the pool and a fob is provided but that pool couldn’t be accessed with a fob. Only with a code you punch in on a key pad. I emailed the management company when we couldn’t get in and they never responded. However, there is another circular shaped pool up the hill that we discovered we could enter with the fob. So the map is wrong on their instructions.

La résidence est très calme mais nécessite une voiture pour y accéder et visiter la région.
La piscine partagée est très agréable.
Le seul bémol est l'absence de volets aux fenêtres.

Esta en zona tranquila. Es importante disponer de coche para poder visitar la zona.
Faltaba un poco de vajilla en la cocina ( cuchillos de carne, colador... ) y cosas de menaje basicas como escoba, fregona, etc. y los puntos de luz eran escasos.
Esta bien pero es fácilmente mejorable.

Die Verwaltungsfirma Rental Vallay hat uns etwas enttäuscht - unser Wunsch nach dem CheckOut das Gepäck für ein paar Stunden abstellen zu können, wurde schlicht zurückgewiesen - das wäre bestimmt irgendwo möglich gewesen... Ein persönlicher Kontakt zum CheckIn mit einem Hausverwalter wäre hilfreich gewesen, zur Einweisung und für Tipps. So war es recht unpersönlich, für dieses doch recht hochpreisige Objekt.
Die Entfernung zum Strand Salema war uns bekannt - ein Auto ist unverzichtbar

Not much to do in Budens, especially in Feb, (very small village) however very handy to have the grocery store nearby and an excellent pizzeria.
A car is a must which worked well for us as we enjoy daytripping and exploring. Sagres, Salema, Luz and Lagos are all a short drive away as are many beautiful beaches (Cordoama was my favorite) and hiking trails. The staff at Rental Valley were very helpful and responsive to all inquiries. Very satisfied with our stay!!

There are toys in the house if you have small children, it wasn't mentioned in the description but it was a relief for me since I have small child.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and very functional.
The check-in/out was very easy, it's a plus.
