This fantastic holiday home is located right at the entrance of Sagres town and sleeps up to 6 guests. It has a private garden with a pool that can be heated and is fully equipped to offer you the perfect holiday home. And only 1000m from Martinhal beach, 1000m from Tonel beach and a little further from Mareta and Beliche beaches.
The space
This modern townhouse with a private garden and pool sleeps up to 6 people and is the perfect getaway for families and young professionals who want to enjoy the town of Sagres and the amazing (surf) beaches.
The owner updated this accommodation in June 2022 to create a homely, comfortable, luxurious holiday home fully equipped. It has two bedrooms with two single beds each, which can easily be pushed together. A sofa bed in the living room folds into a small double. The kitchen is small but fully equipped with modern appliances, including a 4-plate induction stove, oven and microwave, a small dishwasher and a washer/dryer combination.
To top it all off, the house has a spacious private garden with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a private pool that can be heated upon request (at extra cost) and with an optional child protection gate.
➤ Please Note! From September 2025, a new plot is being developed behind our condominium. We are not privy to information about the exact nature of the works on specific dates. Disruptions will be minimal for the majority of the time, but some construction noise can happen at times and we like to be upfront about that.

The neighborhood
The townhouse is located in a calm neighbourhood at the entrance of Sagres town. The house is 400 m from the Intermarché supermarket; 400m from the restaurant "Meridian"; the surf shop 400 m; the bicycle rental shop 400 m; 1000m from the centre of Sagres (Pharmacy, Market, shops, restaurants, bars, health centre, post office, etc.)
Getting around
There are several buses a day going to and from Sagres (the nearest bus stop at 100 m from the bus stop (Sagres- Sítio do Poço), but to get around,d a hire car is recommended. You can park one car in the private parking spot in front of the house. Further shared parking spots are available.
By car, it's 15 km to the "Golf Santo António" course, 30 km to Lagos, 50 km to the "Slide & Splash" water park, 90 km to Faro airport, 350 km to Lisbon airport and 350 km to Seville.

ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists' and guests' information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known short as SEF). To comply with legal requirements, a week before arrival,l we shall send you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us before your arrival. It is a mandatory requirement.

Die Wohnung könnte aus unserer Sicht ein wenig gepflegter sein. Die Vorhänge sind fleckig und hingen zum Teil herunter. Ebenso hatte die Couch einige Flecken. Auf der Terrasse fehlten die Auflagen für die Plastikstühle. Alles in allem kann man darüber aber hinwegsehen, denn die Wohnung ist groß, der Garten toll und nicht einsehbar und die Lage gut. 😊

Neighbours told us to be quiet which when you travel with kids I think there needs to be a lot more understanding especially when it’s not noise after hours..:

Very cute little town house on the outskirts of Sagres. Well equipped and spacious for the 4 of us with 2 bathrooms which was great - the en-suite especially was huge! Private garden and pool was also lovely after a day on the beach. Very close to Intermarche and about a 20 minute walk into the centre of town. Really loved this place and would happily reecommend.
My only complaint was having to pay extra to have the pool heated. But thats all. I guess I could have chosen to not heat it - but the sea is FREEZING so it was nice to have a dip in slightly warmer water!

Se trata de una casa con piscina y completamente reformada con un buen jardín.
Te ofrecen un servicio de climatización de la piscina que no recomiendo, ya que no caliente lo suficiente el agua de la piscina.
También hay que tener en cuenta que aunque pone que el apartamento es para 6 personas, dos deben dormir en un sofá-cama en vez de disponer de un tercer cuarto

Die Wohnung liegt in einer relativ neuen Wohnanlage von 12 exakt gleichen Wohnungen, die mit Ihren kleinen Gärten und Pools gut voneinander separiert sind. Sie entspricht den Bildern der Inserate. Die Lage ist zwar an der Hauptstrasse, die ist aber insbesondere Nachts nicht besonders stark befahren. Für uns ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für unsere Ausflüge in das Umland.
Die vermietende Agentur könnte sich ein wenig mehr um den Zustand und die Funktionalität der Einrichtung und die Wünsche der Gäste kümmern. Da sind wir, um ehrlich zu sein,besseres gewohnt. So scheint die Unterkunft leider nur verwaltet. Insgesamt sind wir aber durchaus zufrieden mit der Buchung.

Très bon logement récent et en parfait état. La cuisine est très bien équipée et les lits confortables. La climatisation réversible apporte un vrai confort et le petit jardin derrière la maison permet de se détendre à l'abri des regards.
La maison est située à l'entrée de Sagres en venant de Vila Do Bispo ce qui est pratique pour partir explorer les spots de surf de la côte sud et ouest.

We stayed 5 weeks in the winter time. First in a different apartment and switched to this one because too many things in the first one were not working.
This apartment is very nice, clean and functional. Also very well equipped. The pool was not usable but for us with a small child during winter not a problem. Constant hot water and good heating system. Rental valley is very supportive and solution oriented. Thanks again!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Rental Valley was responsive and always pleasant to work with. Sagres is such an amazing little town, especially for surfers. The location of the apartment is at the outer edge of Sagres and would recommend a car. The center of town is walkable distance but there’s no sidewalk so you would have to walk on the main road into Sagres.
The apartment is in need of a little love and care. Backyard grass was overgrown, swimming pool was dirty and had sand on the bottom, the living room table is broken in half and should be replaced, there were quite a mosquitoes inside when we arrived and appeared that this was an ongoing issue with all the bug and blood smash spots on the walls and curtains.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder haben viel Platz. Der Pool im Innenhof ist beheizbar und für Kinder klasse zum planschen, zum Bahnen ziehen ist er zu klein. Sagres kann windig sein, der Innengarteb ist windgeschützt. Das Appartement liegt an einer Hauptstraße, hiervon ist nichts zu spüren. Klasse Lage zu allen Stränden, Auto ist nötig hierfür.

Das Haus war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für unsere Surftrip! Die Lage ist top, man ist schnell an den besten Spots. Die Küche war super ausgestattet, so konnten wir uns selbst versorgen. Der Garten war ideal zum Entspannen nach einem langen Tag am Strand. Vielen Dank für alles!

My two friends and I came to Sagres for a chilled surfing holiday. This Airbnb suited our needs exactly; it’s clean and has great amenities such as a good kitchen and a lovely outside area. It is a 20-minute walk to the main area of bars and restaurants, but it was a nice walk. The supermarket is very near as well. It’s also a nice base as we drove to a couple of beaches from here. We went to Lagos one night, and the taxi took 30 minutes and cost 25 euros, which we felt was good value. Overall, I would recommend this rental to others. I would just add that you really need to have a car rental to get the most out of your trip while staying here.

Our vacation at the accommodation was relaxing and enjoyable.

With two young children we chose this property for the privacy, space and safety. Our 1 year old naps in the middle of the day so it was ideal for our 4 year who old could be entertained swimming in the sunshine while spent the middle of the day at the property. The heated pool meant that we were able to swim in February but also the fact it could be fenced off meant the children were safe to play in the spacious garden at all times. It was hard to find a safe heated pool in this area, so this one is ideal. The garden is completely secure meaning you feel at ease with the children playing. Inside the living space is spacious, simple and attractive.
We did not walk to Martinhal beach but in the car it's just a 2 min drive. Mareta is about 4 mins. Parking right outside the front door. Best to have a car if you want to get to shops etc and see more of the area.
Cannot recommend property more and an ideal location to take kids on first holiday abroad.

Very practical apartment. All amenities are there.
Apartment is furnished in the cheapest possible way, and is starting to age. A drawer in the kitchen cabinet just falls apart when trying to open it.
Even though the apartment was clean, it did not feel clean due to the furniture.

Lovely setting with a sweet garden. Sagres is a wonderful unspoiled place. Had a great stay and would recommend the accommodation. Communication with the host was fantastic and we could not recommend them enough☺️

We stayed here for a whole week and we can absolutely and highly recommend this BnB! The apartment was very clean, the beds and showers were very good and so was the barbecue grill! We felt very comfortable here! The landlord always responded very quickly to our requests. We were even able to check in earlier than expected! Thanks again!

We had a lovely time at Sagres! The house was comfortable and the location was great!
The only negative was that the host contacted us and even someone came to the property to fix something in the washing machine during our stay even though we wore not complaining about it and we asked to be alone as we needed that time as a family without any interruptions. We wanted to be at peace and not dealing with maintenance issues and people we don't know coming in and out of the house.
I think everything was fantastic apart from that.

It looks like it is described, beds are very comfortable. Even if close to the main road you don’t hear much noise.
Nothing in Sagres is far , but a car is recommended, since the property is at the very entrance of Sagres. (Ca25 min walking to the Center).
The Indian restaurant: holy Diwali is reachable in a short walk but alongside the main road. Food there is excellent and staff super friendly !!
Just one thing: don’t hang your clothes to dry in the garden over night as there is a water sprinkler that runs early morning and everything will be soaking wet.
Pool heating cost extra ….for the price we paid I was surprised to learn that 1 week before arrival.

Die Unterkunft ist neuwertig und sauber. Es hat alles was man benötigt. Einziger Minuspunkt: Man muss die Unterkunft bereits um 10:00 Uhr verlassen. Das ist für die Ferien viel zu früh. 11:00 oder besser 12:00 Uhr wäre angenehm.

We had a great stay at Villa Sagres Surf and the property was as described. Modern, clean and comfortable. Having own space was great. We had an issue with hot water but it was quickly resolved after sending a message to the host. Location wise - it is on the far edge of Sagres and so realistically you will need a car to nip into town, especially if you have a child with you. However, it is only a couple of minutes from everything and you are very close to Martinhal beach (just a short drive). Sagres itself has ample free parking, and is very relaxed/quite so no issues if you do have a car. The property offers a very quiet, peaceful retreat. We travelled with a 2 year old and cot/highchair was provided and the pool had a safety rail which was ideal for peace of mind. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed six nights in the beautiful house which was totally perfect for our needs. Really easy access to several beaches (for surfing and swimming) and the town. We enjoyed the pool, local wines and BBQed almost every night. There's also some excellent restaurants and bars in Sagres. It was very easy to get help from the hosts with any questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay!

I would not stay here again. They were not big issues but compounded, didn't make for a pleasant stay:
- quite frugal and making it clear multiple times that they will only provide 2 rolls of toilet paper (this in itself is enough but being reminded was off)
- there was no shampoo, even though it was in the listing (flagged to hosts)
- didn't provide Nespresso pods even though there was a machine (every other place I've stayed in usually provide pods, even if its just a few. We ended up buying some but they weren't the right ones so we ended up wasting money and product)
- only gave 2x dishwasher tablets, 1x washer pod and 1x garbage bag. No extras of anything. (again, this felt really stingy.)
- paid EXTRA for pool heating and had to let them know days in advance, only to find out that they had to reset it on the day of so it never heated up while we were there (was ignored when flagged)

La situation, le confort , les équipements, l’ensoleillement, le petit jardin et ses meubles, la communication avec l’agence et la rapidité de réponse , Mateusz a été très efficace! C’était parfait pour deux couples.
Presque rien.... Il faut être attentif pour s’y rendre la première fois, mais en suivant bien les directions on trouve . L’indice des deux pins laissé par une cliente précédente nous a bien aidé.

Great place to base yourself in Sagres. Walkable to the town but using the car was far more practical. Great property with lockbox check-in - this worked great for us when our flight was delayed. The property was clean on arrival and just like the photos. Would stay here again.

Es war ein super Aufenthalt in der Villa Sagres Surf! Traumhafte, grosse und saubere Ferienwohnung mit tollem Pool. Uns hat es sehr gefallen, dass die Privatsphäre auch im Aussenbereich gegeben war! Check-in war unkompliziert und die Kommunikation einwandfrei! Wir hatten grossartige Ferien und würden jederzeit gerne zurückkehren.
Als einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt würden wir die Küchenausstattung nennen. Rüstmesser und grössere Bratpfannen haben uns gefehlt.
