In the Countryside, a few minutes away by car from town Aljezur, with a few of the most beautiful beaches of the Algarvian coastline, you can find this beautiful ground-floor studio apartment. That has a cosy front porch where you can enjoy having breakfast, lunch or dinner with the slight nature breeze. Lovely studio surrounded by nature and animals.
The space
The apartment has one large double bed and a mezzanine for two kids, a private bathroom with a shower, a kitchen and a living room with amazing views through the large windows.
Surrounded by nature, this location is ideal if you are looking for the tranquillity of the Algarve countryside during your holiday and having a good time. It is far enough for open views and the natural country feel (including animals crossing all day long) and close enough to everything you need, just by the side of the Aljezur village, where you can find a great variety of restaurants, Portuguese bars, and several supermarkets where you can find everything you need for your breakfast or cook a nice meal.
Several animals surround our farm, so don't get scared if the donkey's come to say hello!

The neighborhood
Our sunny villa is located on the outskirts of Aljezur, offering you a quiet, private space without being in the middle of nowhere.
Aljezur is located on the west coast of the Algarve in the heart of the natural park Costa Vicentina. An impressive beauty retains unforgettable landscapes between the mountain range and the sea. The coastline is formed uniquely by nature.
The sound of the waves creates a natural symphony, which serves as background music for long hikes or just a short walk on the seashore. Large sandy beaches and coves, divided by magnificent, rugged cliffs with the consistent waves of the Atlantic Ocean, offer unique surfing conditions throughout the year.
Aljezur is enchanted with its charm and harmony of culture and nature. The region has countless culinary delights of high quality to offer. The sea provides fish and seafood, and the ground carries sweet potatoes and peanuts as delicacies count Medronho, a traditional fruit brandy, honey and other sweets. These are treats for culinary art and one of the many reasons to visit the region of Aljezur.
Getting around
Faro Airport takes you about 80 minutes by car to get to Vale da Telha. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended as public transport is only available to Aljezur town but not up to Vale da Telha. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.

The dogs, donkeys and horses were lovely.
From here it is a 5 min drive into Aljezur and 15-18 min to the beach. The house is very easy to reach from the main road. I would love to come back!

Die Unterkunft an sich, ist auf den Bildern sehr gut dargestellt. Durch die dicken Wände bleibt es in der Unterkunft auch ohne zusätzliche Klima schön kühl. Die Küche hatte auch alles um sich ein schnelles frisches Abendessen zu zaubern.
Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir mal wieder in Portugal sind! :)

Die Terrasse könnte noch etwas liebevoller gestaltet werden und auch das Bad passt iwie nicht so recht zum Rest des Apartments. Leider hat es auch ab und an etwas unangenehm nach Abwasser gerochen.
Ausstattung der Küche ausreichend. Ein Wasserkocher oder Mikrowelle wäre für uns (Reise mit Baby) noch hilfreich gewesen.

A few things to note that I notice wasn’t put down in the reviews or the description.
1.You can’t flush paper down the toilet. 2. There are a lot of flys and bugs (it’s a farm)
3. If your scared of dogs don’t book. If you have a rental car, the roads have a lot of stones. Overall our stay was good. Would recommend to anyone who likes farm stays.

Von der Unterkunft aus kann man schöne Ausflüge an verschiedenste Strände oder in die Berge machen - eine tolle Lage. Ein Auto ist aber erforderlich.

The accommodation itself exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
Kaarina was not only incredibly friendly but also extremely helpful. Her recommendations for excursions and restaurants in the area were always spot-on.
The wildlife on your farm was an additional highlight. From the curious chickens to the playful dogs, there was always something exciting to experience. This was especially unforgettable for us.
The location of the accommodation also proved to be extremely convenient. We could easily explore the many fascinating places along the Algarve while simultaneously enjoying the peace and beauty of your farm.
Overall, we can only highly recommend the accommodation. It offers the perfect blend of comfort, proximity to nature, and heartfelt hospitality.

Sehr schlechtes WLan, verstopfter Abfluss in der Dusche, das Bad stand regelmässig unter Wasser, die Kissen waren fürchterlich, keine Verdunklungsvorhänge, keine Müslischalen etc.
Sehr schade, da die Unterkunft durchaus Potential hat. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist leider nicht gerechtfertigt.

Die Wohnung ist ein großer Raum plus Bad, der Schlafbereich kann durch einen Vorhang abgetrennt werden.
In der Wohnung ist keine Klimaanlage vorhanden. Aufgrund ihrer Lage haben wir die Klimatisierung auch nicht vermisst - die Temperaturen waren immer etwa 10 Grad niedriger als an der Südküste. Wir wünschen nachfolgenden Gästen jedich, dass die bereits bestellten Fliegengitter bald eintreffen. 😊
Nicht im Stadtgebiet gelegen, sondern außerhalb von Aljezur, muss man einen unbefestigten Weg zur Wohnung befahren. Dafür ist das Außengelände groß und wild. In der Nähe befinden sich mehrere schöne Strände, die nicht überlaufen sind.
Die freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin wohnt direkt nebenan und ist bei Fragen jederzeit erreichbar.
Wir vermissen die täglichen Pferde-Paraden, das Hunde-Knuddeln und Esel-Streicheln schon jetzt.
Fazit: Gern wieder.
Es ist kein Nachteil, man muss es nur wissen: Für jeden Weg benötigt man ein Auto. Der Wagen sollte für unbefestigte Wege geeignet sein.

Leider ist noch kein Mosquitoschutz vorhanden und das WLAN könnte noch etwas besser sein.
Man ist in der Gegend auf ein Auto angewiesen, kommt damit aber sehr schnell an den Strand.
Großer Supermarkt in der Nähe.
Wir sind insgesamt sehr zufrieden!

The farm is peaceful and the unit beautiful. Has donkeys, horses and so many dogs, would give 10 stars just for the dogs.
Very much would recommend staying here and make sure to check out Praia da Carreagem. It’s a stunning and not at all busy beach 12 mins away by car.

De studio is mooi en sober ingericht, het bed lag heerlijk.
Aljezur is met de auto heel snel te bereiken (via een prachtige dirt road).
Dit is een plek voor mensen die houden van natuur en zuivere lucht.

Travelling during cold weather periods in winter can be challenging, as Portuguese houses are not always prepared for the coldest season. However, I got a gas heater and there was the sun every day, so it was bearable. It wouldn't be a reason for me not to stay there - I loved it nevertheless!
No result
