This lovely and comfortable 2 bed, 2 bath apartment is located along a quiet street, very close to the town center. You will have free access to a shared outdoor and indoor pool and a gym.
The space
Feel at home in this comfortable and well equipped 2-bedroom apartment in a popular neighbourhood of Lagos. The apartment is bright and spacious with modern furnishings and offers all you can ask for during your holiday. We can host up to 4 guests in one queen-size double bedroom and one twin room. There are 2 bathrooms. One with walk-in shower and one with bath/shower.
The apartment is part of a well maintained condominium and our guests will have free access to their shared outdoor pool, indoor pool (heated) and gym.
From the apartment, it's just a few minutes walking to the old town center and the modern marina area where you will find an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars. But even on your doorstep, you will already have a wide selection of these as well as a choice of large supermarkets. The nearest beaches are about 20 minutes walking or just 2-5 minutes by car from the apartment.

The neighborhood
Our holiday home is close to the town centre and Marina but away from the city noise in a quiet residential area. You will be able to find quiet and peacefulness next to the bustling city life. Supermarket, shops and restaurants can be found on your doorstep. The beach is within walking distance and the bus and train station are just minutes away from the accommodation.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. Locating on the coast, you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport; car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car, and plenty of taxis and Ubers are available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life much easier.

On arriving we had great difficulty in finding ithe apartment… …. it would have made it easier if we had been informed that No 7 etc was across the road in a separate building Tom apartment 2, 4, 6 etc. Also very difficult to see No 7 over the main entrance as it was dark when we got there.

The suite needs a bit of a freshen up. The bathroom lighting was horrible, and the patio furniture on the deck was taped together.
On weekends only one of the two elevators was working and it was super slow. We tried taking the stairs but the motion sensor on one level wasn’t working so it was pitch black for one level.

Nos encontramos con alguna falta de limpieza, que si bien se ofrecieron rápidamente a solucionar, enviando a alguien para solventarlo, declinamos, ya que si nos decantamos por alquilar un apartamento en lugar de reservar un hotel, era precisamente para disponer de intimidad y no tener que estar pendientes de si alguien entraba en nuestro alojamiento.
En cualquier caso, recomendamos está opción para quien busque alojamiento que reúna buenas condiciones en la zona de Lagos.

El aparcamiento privado muy pequeño y de difícil acceso para un coche mediano. A mediados de la estancia aparecieron pequeñas hormigas en la cocina y los baños, que desaparecieron cuando pasó el personal a limpiar, pero pasados unos días volvieron a aparecer.

We had a couple of issues while we were away but the team from Rental Valley were quick to respond and rectified the small issues we had quickly.
I would recommend booking with them as service and ease of booking was great, I will definitely be using them again.

We have been staying in these apartments for 10 years and this one wasn't the best. The sofa had seen better days, too low and hard to get up from. We prefer a proper table and chairs in the kitchen. You could feel the springs in the double bed which made it uncomfortable. The middle wardrobe door in the twin bedroom kept coming off the runner. The socket cover in the separate shower room was broken on one corner and awkward to use. One lift was broken and the indoor pool was out of use.

The building is somewhat dated. One (of 2) elevators was disabled. Unfortunately the advertised heated pool area was closed.

Ansonsten ist die Wohnung in einem sehr guten Zustand. Alles, was man braucht. Der Support ist sehr gut und reagiert sehr schnell - immer in Sinne des Besuchers.
Alles im allem ein sehr gute Destination.

Steps away from the footbridge to the Marina area and extremely walkable for the rest of the city.
Felt right at home and loved the deck / terrace! Great grocery store right beside the apartment and easy walk to the many beautiful beaches.
