The space
This two-bedroom apartment is the perfect accommodation for a family group of up to 5 people. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second room has a double bed and bunk bed - perfect for those travelling with younger children. You have access to the shared roof terrace which is the perfect spot to take in the sensational views of the city and the surrounding coastline.
With its central location you are in the heart of a traditional Portuguese neighbourhood. There are many small shops and restaurants on the doorstep and you can enjoy fresh pastries for breakfast from the local bakery. The historic city of Lagos is within walking distance and here you have an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars. If you prefer the quieter side of life then Lagos has plenty of history and you can spend many hours exploring the tiny cobbled streets.
Lagos is famous for its stunning beaches and the location of this apartment means you are ideally located to explore a different one each day!

The neighborhood
There are several local cafes and restaurants for you to enjoy traditional Portuguese food and drink and a local bakery on your doorstep. You have a small supermarket within a few minutes’ walk. For those who want to explore further afield there are some beautiful beaches within reasonable walking distance, where you can take in the incredible views of the coast or continue along the cliff tops to Porto de Mos beach and beyond.
Close to Lagos there are a variety of activities and sights which range from waterparks to zoos, through to historic monuments and challenging hiking and biking trails. The Algarve is known as one of Europe’s premier golf destinations, and there are many courses within close proximity to Lagos, the west coast is also very popular for surfing.
Whether you are couples travelling together or a family with children, there is something for everyone in Lagos.
Getting around
Buses and trains are not very regular and a (rental) car is recommended. Should you decided not to hire a car there are bus stops close to the apartment that will take you into the town and also link up with the main bus routes throughout the Algarve and Lisbon.

Estuvimos 4 días mis amigas y yo y la verdad es que genial. La ubicación es perfecta, súper cerca del centro (puedes ir andando sin problema) y aparcar por la zona es bastante fácil. La casa tenía bastantes cosas de los dueños, pero estaban apartadas y no molestaban.
Los anfitriones fueron muy comunicativos y receptivos en todo momento, aunque echamos en falta que no hubiera alguien para recibirnos y enseñarnos lo básico de la casa, pero todo fue muy sencillo, así que no hubo problema. También nos dejaron solo dos rollos de papel higiénico para 4 días… un poco justo, la verdad.
No hay aire acondicionado, pero con el ventilador estuvimos incluso con frío. Aun así, supongo que en días de calor extremo sí se echaría en falta, pero al ser un séptimo con ascensor, por la noche se está medianamente bien.
En general, muy buena experiencia 😊

We were four adults staying for four nights at this listing. The apartment is spacious and centrally located. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. As others have mentioned, the apartment is quite old and filled with personal items. This sometimes left us unsure about what was intended for guest use and what wasn’t. The apartment itself was clean upon arrival. However, although we paid a cleaning fee, we were still expected to take out the trash before checking out.The most frustrating part of the stay was that only two rolls of toilet paper were provided for four people over four nights. When we asked for more, we were told we’d have to buy it ourselves. After this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering whether Airbnb is still worth it — it often feels like hosts are reaping the benefits of both hotels and private rentals while avoiding offering the responsibilities or basic comforts of either.

Gets very foggy in the bathroom when you take a shower, and in the apartment in general. We saw mold on the walls during out last week.

The place is very old and cluttered. There is so many things inside the apartment that is hard to live in there. Everything old and broken. The apartment has no aircon, for this reason a fan is a Must, there is 3 fans inside the apartment and none is working.
I felt like I entered in an apartment that belongs to someone else and they’re use it only for holidays, all their belongings and things were kept inside. This is very unprofessional, and hard to live in, specially if you need the space to work, I’ve seen myself many times distracted and unproductive because of the clutter.
Don’t stay here if you need more than 3 nights, as the beds are terribly discomfort, me and my wife we got a terrible back pain after sleeping 8 nights in this apartment.
I’ve given 2 stars as their communication is really good, the location is ok, and we had a smooth check in, but at the end of the day, what matters is my comfort inside the apartment and day to day living. Overall I do not reccomend.

Die Wohnung war geräumig und den Angaben entsprechend.Die Lage war sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig.Jedoch gab es einige Mängel wie zum Beispiel eine auslaufende Toilette,verhakte Türen,leider eine etwas verschimmelte Dusche.

Beautiful and clean apartment, great for four people! We stayed for one week and felt right at home. The surroundings are great as well, with excellent restaurants nearby. Some amazing beaches are also in walking distance. All in all, we would definitely come back!

Bel appartement tranquille et avec pleins d’accessoires de plage fournit. À environ 18 minutes de la plage et 15 minutes du centre ville. Nous avons eu un petit problème avec la porte, mais l’équipe Rental Valley a pu venir sur place et régler le problème assez rapidement.

Bien,
Juste quatre choses problématique: la personne qui devrait nous réceptionner, n’était pas présente à notre arrivée et n’avait pas prévenu ses collègues.
La serrure de l’accès à l’immeuble ne fonctionne pas, si la porte était fermée il faut sonné chez les voisins.
L’éclairage dans l’appartement était très compliqué ex: l’interrupteur qui allume la chambre est dans la cuisine donc la nuit la personne qui veut aller la cuisine allume s’ouvre la chambre.
Derrière remarque le stationnement très difficile et on est pas en période été.
Si non rien à redire, merci

The apartment is in a great location. We walked into old town, down to the ocean, close to shopping and restaurants and it was quiet at night. The staff was quick to respond to any questions and requests. Would definitely stay here again

O espaço é muito bom, e a localização também., um sitio bem residencial com muitas comodidades próximas, farmacia, padaria, bar, mercado, etc. Como fomos de carro, tudo ficava perto. Apesar de nao haver box garagem privativo não tivemos dificuldade de estacionar na rua próximo ao apartamento., inclusive para passar a noite. Local limpo e cinfortável, com tudo o que precisávamos. Cozinha muito bem equipada, porém não havia facas para cortar legumes ou carnes, apenas facas de mesa, então, se fores alugar sugiro levar uma. No mais, achamos que o custo benefício foi excelente. E a cidade de Lagos vale muito a pena, as praias são das mais lindas do mundo.

Lo mejor del apartamento es que estaba ubicado muy cerca del centro.
Para la entrega de llaves nos hicieron esperar con los niños a pleno sol y a cuarenta grados.Era un piso antiguo.Un séptimo en el que no había aire acondicionado.No se aguantaba en él de calor.La ventana y persiana del salón estaban rotas.De los dos dormitorios uno no tenía ventanas.La ducha estaba rota y no había cafetera aunque aparecía en el inventario.Al menos estaba limpio y cerca del centro.En las fotos se veía mejor de lo que realmente es. En general bastante decepcionante.

muy luminoso, amplio y cuenta con mucho equipamiento. la ubicación es a unas 6 cuadras del centro, zona donde puedes estacionar el auto (en zona de peatonal nones posible)

Good accommodation with all the essential you will need for a pleasant stay. Lagos old town within 10 minutes walking distance. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
