The neighborhood
Zandvoort has something to offer for almost everyone. From lots of beach clubs and restaurants in summer, where you can have great food and drinks, to more quietness to enjoy nature in the winter times. Generally, all you need is close by and primarily within walking distance. So what are you looking for in your trip?
Two National Parks embed the village; De Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen. So besides strolling on the beach, those are two significant areas to walk or cycle. There's so much more you can do! For instance, mountain biking around the race track, learning how to wave- or kitesurf, and you can even get your PADI. Did you know that Zandvoort also has a nude beach as well?
We also have a great race track called "Circuit Park Zandvoort" (1.2 km), Owned by a member of the Dutch Royal family. They organize many activities and festivities there, like DTM and Historic Grand Prix. Maybe you want to get your race license?
Last but not least, from Zandvoort you can quickly get to Amsterdam by public transport, which allows you to combine an exciting city trip with a relaxing getaway next to the beach.

Getting around
Zandvoort aan Zee has its train station, which you can get in just 27 minutes from Amsterdam Central and 45 minutes from Schiphol Airport. Depending on your plans, public transport will get you around very well. We will share a handy website to plan your routes.

Amazing apartment on a quiet street, just a short walk from a large grocery store, bars, and restaurants. I stayed here during the F1 weekend — the location is very convenient, about 25–30 minutes to the circuit depending on the gate.
The apartment is fully equipped for comfortable living and has a spacious kitchen with everything you might need for cooking. The bed was excellent, with a clever foldable mechanism and high-quality linen. I would definitely recommend this place! The apartment was clean overall, but it could use a bit of extra attention to detail. I noticed some sticky marks on the kitchen cupboards, the extractor fan wasn’t spotless, there were a few cobwebs on the ceiling, and a little mold in the shower grout. Nothing major, but a thorough deep cleaning would make the place perfect.

Obwohl wir nicht viel im Apartment waren, da war die meiste Zeit am Strand verbracht haben, ist der Lärm negativ aufgefallen. Matratze im Bett wirkt eher durchgelegen.

Die Fewo ist in einer super Lage. Sie ist etwas ruhiger gelegen aber nur in 5 min ist man zentral in Zandvoort. Die Ausstattung ist völlig ausreichend und man hat eigentlich alles was man benötigt. Etwas schade ist das man erst ab 16 Uhr einchecken kann da somit der Anreise Tag schon Sogut wie rum ist.

Arrival and Check in was fine. The location is very good. Near to the center of Zandvoort and near to the Beach and Train Station as well. Unfortunately the place is not very well maintained: TV set in the living room is broken. Switches for the light are difficult to actuate and kind of flimsy. The faucet in the kitchen will probably fall off the next time someone touches it. Hair Dryer is broken. Besides that, we enjoyed the stay.

Die Whg ist schön…alles war vorhanden. Das Boxspring Bett war herrlich zum schlafen. Wie auf Wolken. Man kann die City zu Fuß zu erreichen , ca 8Min wo es allerhand Restaurants , Supermärkte und schöne kleine Geschäfte gibt. Auch der Strand ist in ca 12Min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ich bin allerdings mit Hund an den Hundestrand gefahren, Parnassia an Zee, Bloemendaal ( 10min mit dem Auto). Das Auto habe ich in der City Tiefgarage geparkt . Was sehr angenehm war bei den heißen Temperaturen. ( 20.-EUR 24h). Die Nachbarn sind auch alle sehr nett und man kommt schnell mit ihnen ins Gespräch. Ich komme gerne wieder 😃

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt mit unserem Hund in der Unterkunft in Zandvoort. Das Häuschen liegt ganz nah am Stadtkern und fußläufig zum Strand, trotzdem eine ruhige und erholsame Wohngegend. Die Küche war voll ausgestattet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Klare Anweisungen und ein Informationspapier als PDF ließen keine Fragen und der Check-in war super easy. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Anfangs mussten wir mit Gepäck eine Stunde länger warten, um den Schlüssel zu erhalten. Anschließend haben wir uns in die Unterkunft selbst eingecheckt und da fingen die Probleme an… Haare und Flecken auf dem Bett, Krümel im Kühlschrank, Krümel auf dem Couch- und Esstisch, ein benutzter Putzlappen im Bad auf der Handtuchablage, schmutziges, teils rostiges Besteck. 10 Minuten nach dem Betreten der Wohnung wollte sich ein Mitarbeiter selbst aufschließen, dem ich dann diese Mängel aufgezeigt habe. Es wurden Fotos gemacht, er wischte mit einem trockenen Lappen 4 min durch die Wohnung und versprühte Lavendelduft, um den muffigen Geruch der Wohnung zu übertünchen. Und wurde zwar Hilfe, bzw. Nachbesserung versprochen, allerdings haben wir davon nichts bekommen. Die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig, was in Kombination mit dem Jugendlichen Sohn des Besitzers zu schlaflosen Nächten führte. Rücksicht wurde nicht genommen. Teils bis 4 Uhr morgens lautstarke Partys, wobei einige Gäste bei uns klingelten.

Bezüglich der Ruhestörung durch den Nachbarn bedauern wir, dass Sie uns während Ihres Aufenthalts nicht darüber informiert haben. Wir hätten unverzüglich Maßnahmen ergriffen, um die Ruhestörung zu unterbinden. Es ist bedauerlich, dass Sie in dieser Hinsicht keine angenehme Nachtruhe hatten. Wir möchten betonen, dass solche Vorfälle normalerweise nicht vorkommen.
Abschließend bedauern wir die Unannehmlichkeiten, die Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts bei uns erfahren haben. Trotz Angabe der Ankunftszeit war die Wohnung noch nicht gereinigt, wir mussten lange hin und her telefoniere und durch den Ort fahren um den Schlüssel bei der Agentur zu holen. Dann dauerte es immernoch Stunden bis wir rein könnten. Es gibt keine Parkplätze, nur öffentlich oder in einem entfernten Parkhaus! Kosten zwischen 30-50€ pro Tag muss man rechnen, würde aber vorher nirgends erwähnt. Das Bett war extrem weich, nichts für Menschen mit Rückenproblemen.

Es war wirklich schön. Sehr gemütlich, eine ruhige Lage. Das Bettzeug hötte etwas sauberer sein können und es gab nur eine große Decke im Bett, anstatt zwei. Ansonsten wirklich top!

Gut ausgestattetes Appartement, genau wie auf den Bildern ! Die Lage ist absolut hervorragend und man darf 2 Hunde mitnehmen das rechtfertigt damit auch seinen Preis. Manko war der Bewohner überhalb des Apartments der sich erst Mühe gegeben hat ruhig zu sein als wir uns per App beschwert haben. Ansonsten war bis nachts eine deutliche Lautstärke von ihm zu vernehmen. Ein weiteres Manko war die unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin von rental Valley die mich bei der schlüsselabholung mehrfach drauf aufmerksam gemacht hat das ich eine halbe Stunde zu früh sei. Sie hat etwas widerwillig den Schlüssel ausgehändigt, da das Zimmer schon fertig war. Ich hatte im Vorfeld aber darum gebeten Bescheid zu bekommen, sollte das Zimmer früher fertig sein und deswegen war das Verhalten nicht Kundenorientiert und sehr unpassend.

Sehr zentral, ruhige Lage aber mit Mängeln. Reichlich Geschirr angeschlagen, Gläser blind oder auch nicht sauber. Lärm von oben (Familie des Eigentümers). Bett zu weich und nur eine Bettdecke.

Es war alles vorhanden, was man in einer Ferienwohnung benötigt und noch ein wenig mehr. Sehr gute Ausstattung. Auch bei Fragen wurde uns sofort kompetent geholfen. Teilweise war es etwas staubig, aber nichts dramatisches. Das Bett war für mich zu weich, aber jeder liegt eben anders bequem.

Despite a Rental Valley e-mail that they can’t wait to see us & check/in appointment at their office, we stood behind locked doors with no phone number on door. Noone was present in Zandvoort, the number sent per mail connected to Portugal. After much confusion were finally instructed to open one of numerous lock boxes, all this while our taxi was waiting with running meter! Overall communication with firm complicated, non responsive. The personal welcoming touch is totally missing. They also have an early 10am check out time. Upon intervenence of the owner check out was extended to standard times (12 noon). It’s a pity that such uncaring attitude mars an otherwise lovely apartment and place! Electrical maintenance is insufficient, as several lightbulbs were defect. How well does Rental Valley know and inspect the premises? The apartment is very well equipped, the bed comfortable. The only complaint is about unnecessarily complicated dealings with Rental Valley.

This place was perfect for us. Lots of space, all beautifully presented, with lots of little 'extras' we did not expect. The whole apartment is well thought through in terms of its arrangement.
We found the buses within a short walking distance a good way to get where we wanted to go and everybody was very helpful.
Would we book it again if we wanted to be outside Amsterdam? A definite YES!
