This spacious and bright apartment sleeps up to 6 persons in 2 bedrooms and one mezzanine room above the living room. With big windows and various balconies, this apartment is the ultimate sun-lovers destination.
The space
Escape to paradise in our lovely two-bedroom + mezzanine holiday home in the heart of the Algarve. With its modern and comfortable interior, spacious set-up and access to the shared garden with swimming pool, this apartment is the perfect place to relax and unwind for a family or up to three couples. We can host up to 6 guests. Please note that you have to go up a flight of stairs to enter the apartment and there is a mezzanine staircase in the living room without kids protection gate.
The living room boasts large windows that offer views of the surrounding area and allow plenty of natural light to flood in, creating a bright and airy space for you and your loved ones to enjoy. And with an outside dining area overlooking the pool, you can enjoy al fresco dining in the warm evenings.
Our property features two bedrooms (1 large double, 1 twin), one with an en-suite bathroom, a second separate bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and living room on the main floor. The mezzanine floor provides an additional spacious double bed, extra bathroom, and two balconies offering stunning views of the area.
Conveniently located with just a short 2-minute walk from Burgau town and under 10 minutes walk from the beach but outside of the small winding street of the old town, our holiday home is the perfect family-friendly destination and offers parking space right in front of the condominium. Whether you want to relax by the pool, soak up the sun on the beach, or explore the local area, there's something for everyone.

The neighborhood
Burgau is a quiet fishing village situated between Lagos and Sagres. Sheltered from the wind by the cliffs on a small cove is the lovely Praia do Burgau. It is an excellent base for a relaxing beach holiday or to explore the beautiful Western Algarve. It has some fantastic restaurants and bars facing the sea, and several other beautiful beaches are in the area to explore. If your idea of the perfect holiday is to relax in the sun and swim in the sea, this village will provide everything your heart desires.
Three golf courses are within 15 minutes drive, as are many of the Algarve's best surfing beaches. Only 8 kilometres from the historic town of Lagos with its lively nightlife, bustling yacht marina and a huge variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Other things to do in the area include surfing, fishing, diving, golf, tennis and hiking.
Getting around
The best way to explore the Algarve is by using a (rental) car. Public transport is available but limited.
You can park for free in Burgau. There is plenty of parking available in front of the condominium.

➤ Check-in time: 16:00-22:00. Later arrivals are possible but at your own risk as our support line might not operate at that hour. No refunds.
➤ Check-out time: before 10am
ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists’ and guests information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known for short as, SEF). To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival we shall send to you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us prior to your arrival. It is mandatory requirement.

Place was roomy and AC was working well, same as description, walkable to Burgau beach and lots of restaurants, and very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. My kids loved the pool.

Things to be improved..
- check in was a little complicated. It was hard to find our place coz there were lots of similar looking houses.
- floor was a little dirty. Our feet got almost grey when we walked around the house.
- there were LOTS of ants in the kitchen and upstairs. They really need an exterminator.
- there were two boiled eggs inside of the kettle. We don’t even know how long they have been there. Cleaning service should have checked it.

It was not clean. There were cigarette stubs and an old beaker on the veranda. The hoover didn’t work so cleaning others’ crumbs wasn’t easy.
Only one bath towel and sheets for a six night stay.

Bed in the upstairs room wasn't the most comfortable but can't speak for the other rooms. Finding the apartment was a little complicated at first (the apartment being a letter while the whole block is also a letter made it confusing, a picture of the gate might be helpful).

Het dorpje Burgau is een heerlijk dorpje waar je zo naar toe loopt en waar een hele relaxte sfeer hangt met barretjes en restaurantjes. Aan dat dorpje ligt ook het strand dus echt allemaal prima te belopen binnen 10 min.
Wij hebben het heel erg naar ons zin gehad.

Instructions were inadequate for finding the apartment. It had an ant infestation when we arrived. No instructions were given for turning off alarm, which went off when we appended the front door on the last morning

3 of the 4 air conditioning didn’t worked.
Old toaster set off the power board constantly.

Only one out of four air conditioners barely worked. Most of our stay no internet and no tv. Some minor things didn't work for example the bedroom door was broken, no light in the fridge or in the bathroom lamps. Cleaning staff could do better - broken glass under armchair, dirty windows and table on the balcony, stinky dishwasher and no dishwasher detergent , no soap.
