The space
This spacious newly renovated two bedroom, one bathroom apartment is the perfect getaway for you and your family or friends. It is set on the second floor of a residential building in a quiet area situated about 10 minutes on foot to the Historical Old Town of Lagos. Two of the most popular beaches in Lagos are within a 15-20 minute walk from the apartment: Praia Dona Ana and Praia do Porto de Mos.
The apartment offers two bedrooms, one bathroom complete with bath and a fully equipped kitchen. You can feel the personal touch of the owners who personally refurbished their second home to this stylish accommodation with modern lounge/dining area with sleeping sofa that has access to a balcony overlooking the neighborhood. Here you can enjoy the afternoon sun. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. From the kitchen there is access to another small balcony including a BBQ to enjoy the summer nights in the Algarve.

The neighborhood
There are several local cafes and restaurants for you to enjoy traditional Portuguese food and drink, and a local bakery on your doorstep. You have a small supermarket within a few minutes’ walk. For those who do like to explore further a field there are some beautiful beaches within reasonable walking distance, where you can take in the incredible views of the coast or continue along the cliff tops to Porto de Mos beach and beyond.
Close to Lagos there are a variety of activities and sights which range from waterparks to zoos, through to historic monuments and challenging hiking and biking trails. The Algarve is known as one of Europe’s premier golf destinations, and there are many courses within close proximity to Lagos, the west coast is also very popular for surfing.
Whether you are couples travelling together or a family with children, there is something for everyone in Lagos.
Getting around
You can reach the apartment by public transport, but busses and trains do not go very often. If you wish to explore the general area, a (rental) car is recommended. Parking is free and abundantly available in this area. Should you decide not to hire a car, there is a bus stop close to the apartment that will take you into the town and also links up with the main bus routes to throughout the Algarve and Lisbon.

Check in check out hours were flexible
Cold, only after complaining multiple times we got another heater.we checked in on sunday there was nobody to receive us. We had to walk with our luggage for 1 km to get the key. There was no prior information about this.

Größe Wohnzimmer mit Balkon.
Super frühstücksbar direkt vor der Tür.
Parkplatz kostenlos vor der Tür.
Sicherer Ort, wir haben unsere Fahrräder auf dem Bürgersteig an einer Laterne angeschlossen.
Das Badezimmer war schon etwas älter,
Aber es hat alles funktioniert.

No tuvimos agua caliente durante 5 de 7 días, teniendo que ducharnos con agua fria. Estaba eatroped al caldera antes de entrar.Las almohadas muy malas.

Verder alles heel goed
Het terras lag fout op de zon( in juni) en de voordeur ( beneden) was moeilijk open te krijgen. Dat was elke keer heelastig..oo z,n Hollands: doet hij het doet hij het niet

No body wash shampoo or conditioner provided and the host barely ever replied to our messages. The bathtub was clogged and the host didn’t get back to us till the next day…

Just wish the dryer function on the laundry machine worked. We brought a clothes line but struggled to find a good place to hang laundry.

Some useful info: the balcony attached to the living room is facing south and has sun from 11am to 2pm. The kitchen + balcony and the bed rooms are facing north, where there’s a school. All the windows /doors are single layer glass, which means that in winter the rooms at the back get pretty cold and humid. Also the water in the bathroom gets warm, but not hot. There is one electric heater which is fine for one room, but not sufficient if you intend to use multiple rooms at the same time (as we did). The washing machine is very old and poorly functioning.
Kitchen is great, very spacious and very well equipped. Beds are comfy.
Beaches and city centre are both 15-20 min walk. Also good bus connection to the centre. There are nice cafes and restaurants close by, although many are closed in winter/ January.

Problème de tuyauterie dans la cuisine avec un problème de dégât d’eau. Mineur mais platte quand on ne peut plus utiliser le lavabo de cuisine et le lave vaisselle les deux derniers jours du voyage.
Pas d’internet durant presque 3 jours. Le mot de passe et le routeur ne concordaient pas. Heureusement, une gentille dame a fini pour nous arranger ça.

Bakery-cafe in same building, severalcafes in the Surroundingbuildings. Free Parking in the street/buildings parking lot.
30 Min minutes walk to the beach, 20 minutes walk to downtown restaurants.

Que el sofá cama es incómodo. El apartamento está bien para 4 personas ya que las camas son cómodas y hay camas para 5. Pero el sofá cama del salón es incomodisimo. Además el check out es demasiado temprano. Y el check in muy tarde.
