The neighborhood

Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can quickly get around without a car, and there are plenty of taxis and Uber's available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

Es un lugar espectacular para nuestro viaje familiar, mi hijo disfrutó el patio amplio y precioso. Las habitaciones muy amplias y acogedoras, el con hon y las almohadias cómodas, todos muy limpio y linda decoración, logramos disfrutar la piscina muy cerca y al tener auto la movilidad fue muy fácil a la playa! Volvería definitivamente!

Wenn wir nochmal an die Algarve fliegen, würden wir die Unterkunft wieder buchen und auch weiterempfehlen.

The apartment was very spacious and really nicely tucked away as well, close to a supermarket and the marina and station. It’s nice to be walking distance to a lot of things. The host was great and very helpful and kind when we were in touch with each other. There’s a busy road but you can ignore it if you’re there for a short stay and you’re not staying long and also the doors block out the outside noise very well. I’d come back again if I had the chance, highly recommend.

A beautiful apartment, modern and very spacious. Very comfortable beds, and lovely bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need if you choose to self cater. We enjoyed sitting out in the garden, but being close to a busy road it could be quite noisy. The apartment is very close to a supermarket and an easy walk to some lovely restaurants.

Wir haben uns die Wohnung gemeinsam mit Freunden geteilt. Waren vier Erwachsene und zwei Kinder - die Größe der Wohnung war perfekt für uns! Auch der Garten war toll.
Die Lage hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Etwas ruhiger, aber fußläufig zur Stadt. Ein Supermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke oder man fährt mit dem Auto ca. 5min zu Lidl. Rental Valley war zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und haben schnell geantwortet. Während unseres Aufenthaltes haben Sie uns auch einmal neue Pfannen etc. vorbeigebracht, da die vorhandene kaputt war.
Wir können die Unterkunft empfehlen!

Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähe von einigen Supermärkten, die fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Um in die Stadt zu kommen, sollte man schon ein Fahrrad oder ein Auto haben. Lediglich die Filiale ist aufgrund einiger Einbahnstraßen und Baustellen nicht sofort zu finden.

Wir haben immer einen Parkplatz vor der Anlage gefunden.

Logement spacieux, très bien aménagé avec goût. Confortable et adapté pour deux couples. Extérieur un peu bruyant (bord de route) mais une fois les fenêtres fermées nous n’entendons plus rien. Proximité directe de la Marina, on conseille le restaurant de sushi qui est excellent ! Parking devant le bâtiment, nous avons toujours eu des places. On recommande !

The flat is truly beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. The location is convenient and close to the city center and the beach. We also really enjoyed the garden and the shared pool, which are definitely a plus for this accommodation. Our only complaint was that the host didn't provide us with the codes necessary to open the door to the hallway to reach the apartment on the first day. Luckily, we met a resident who could help us out. Still, for the future, I would recommend leaving instruction papers in the apartment, including the codes, or sharing them in the chat beforehand, just as most other accommodations do. Other than that, our stay was amazing!

Very spacious apartment with two large double rooms. Close to the marine and 15mins walk to the main beach in Lagos.
No air-con and only one fan in the apartment. Dishwasher was broken as per previous feedback and was quite dangerous with small kids as it fell out of the wall numerous times. Requested extra towels but did not get a response from the host which was disappointing.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this property - the check in process was easy and we were made to feel welcome. The property looks just like the pictures with spacious rooms and lovely furniture; and is located to a supermarket that is just a few minutes walk away.
There were however a few issues with the washing machine and microwave/oven. Despite this, whenever we had an issue the team was more than willing to help.

Fantastische locatie. Zou het iedereen aanraden. Binnen 15 minuten wandelen ben je in old town. En 5 minuten van de Marina. Alle mooie strandjes op 10 minuten rij afstand. Het huis is heerlijk, de tuin is heel fijn. Alle gemakken voorzien. Aanrader!

Excellent accommodation, two minute walk from the Marina, 20 minute walk to the old town. Excellent local supermarket 5 minute walk. Accommodation was modern and the garden gets the sun for most of the day. Shared pool also great. One slight disadvantage is that the property is next to a busy road, however slight noise levels did not bother us and no issues in the evening when Road was quiet. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this airbnb in Lagos! My friends and I were looking for a place to have a relaxing girls weekend and this was the perfect apartment! The kitchen was clean and had all the basic equipment and seasonings. There was a nice private outdoor area to lay out in. It is in a more quiet, good location w/ a grocery store a short walk away. The marina area, old town, and the beach are all also not too far of a walk! It was a bit rainy this weekend and so this was the perfect place to stay inside, cook dinner together, and watch movies! Thank you!!!

Por mejorar algo creo q deberían poner ventiladores porque al ser un bajo y no poder dejar las ventanas abiertas hacia un poco de calor y unos ventiladores vendrían muy bien, por lo menos en verano.Por lo demás perfecto, nos ha gustado mucho alojarnos allí.

Insgesamt waren wir mit der Buchung und Abwicklung zufrieden. Jedoch war der Lagebeschreibung nicht zu entnehmen, wie laut es in der Wohnung aufgrund der Straße war. Auch dass Kunstrasen im Garten liegt war nicht beschrieben worden, für die Nutzung jedoch wichtig, da man bei Sonnenschein den Rasen vor Hitze nicht betreten kann. Zwar wurde auf unsere Meldung, dass es im Hausflur einen Warnton gibt im 6 Sekundentakt zwar geantwortet, ein Techniker kam aber erst am 5. Tag. Insgesamt bei dem Mietpreis also keine gute Gesamtbewertung.

We had a lovely stay in the old brick factory. Ground floor large apartment as in photos and private garden and shared pool as stated. A short walk from Marina, beach and town centre with lots to do and large Pingo supermarket nearby. I would highly recommend staying here.

This appartment was one of the best if not the best Airbnb we’ve ever been into. It’s spacious, modern, has access to a garden and swimming pool. We (4 people) rented the appartment and it was more than enough for all of us and we had guests. We really enjoyed out stay there and even thought of extending it. We’d very much recommend it and we definitely going to stay there next time we come to Lagos.

We had a great stay here, it’s very spacious, clean and the pool is lovely. You can hear the road however it didn’t keep us awake. The garden is a great feature.
