The space
With four bedrooms, including one on the ground floor with access to the backyard and three on the first floor, this two-story home has plenty of space for the whole family.
Location is everything, and this home couldn't be more ideally situated. Just step out onto the street, and you'll find yourself in the centre of town with all of the amenities you could want. Or take a stroll to the nearby dunes and beach, where you'll find five permanent pavilions for year-round fun.
The home features a large entryway with a vestibule and a spacious hallway leading to a heated pantry, a toilet with a sink, a large staircase, a kitchen, and a living room. The living room has two sets of French doors that open onto a veranda facing northeast, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and newspaper.
The high ceilings, gorgeous fireplace, and herringbone floors make the living room an inviting place to relax. From there, the former en suite leads to the first bedroom at the rear of the house, which boasts ample closet space, a beautiful marble sink, and French doors leading to the backyard. The south-facing garden also features an electrically powered shed with an entrance.
The adjacent kitchen is straight out of a bygone era, with a stunning original vitrine display cabinet, a granite floor, and vintage cabinets. The kitchen also includes a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, washing machine, a door to the first bedroom, and a door to the backyard.
Upstairs, you'll find an expansive landing, a second toilet, a built-in closet, and a central heating room. The second bedroom is located at the front of the house and includes a marble sink with a shelf and ornate ceiling molding. Bedroom three has French doors leading to a large balcony at the front of the house, a sink, and a built-in closet. The former en suite includes another built-in closet. Bedroom four features ornate ceiling molding, a sink, and two built-in closets, while bedroom five has ornate ceiling molding, a sink, and one built-in closet. Finally, the spacious bathroom boasts a walk-in shower.

The neighborhood
Your holiday home is situated in one of Zandvoort's most popular neighbourhoods. The town centre and beach are within cycling distance, but you are just far enough to escape the noises and traffic.
Zandvoort has something to offer for almost everyone. From lots of beach clubs and restaurants in summer, you can have great food and drinks to more quietness to enjoy nature in the winter. Generally, all you need is close by and mostly within walking distance. So what are you looking for in your trip?
Two National Parks embed the village; De Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen. So besides strolling the beach, those are two great areas to walk or cycle. There's so much more you can do! For instance, mountain-biking around the race-track, learning how to wave- or kitesurf, and you can even get your PADI. Did you know that Zandvoort also has a nude beach as well?
We also have a great race track called "Circuit Park Zandvoort" (1.2 km), Owned by a member of the Dutch Royal family. They organize many activities and festivities there, like DTM and Historic Grand Prix. So maybe you want to get your race license?
Last but not least, from Zandvoort you can quickly get to Amsterdam by public transport, which allows you to combine an exciting city trip with a relaxing getaway next to the beach.

Getting around
Zandvoort aan Zee has its train station, which you can get in just 27 minutes from Amsterdam Central and 45 minutes from Schiphol Airport. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the accommodation and a bus stop at 5. There is a direct line to Haarlem as well. So, public transport will get you around very well depending on your plans. We will share a handy website to plan your route.
Haarlem is within cycling distance from Zandvoort, and Amsterdam can be reached by train within 25 minutes. This train also stops in Haarlem and goes at regular intervals from early morning until late night.
