The neighborhood
Our holiday home is close to the town centre and Marina but away from the city noise in a quiet residential area. You will be able to find quiet and peacefulness next to the bustling city life. Supermarkets, shops and restaurants can be found within a few minutes walk. The famous beach of Meia Praia is within walking distance and the bus and train station are just minutes away from the accommodation.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. Locating on the coast, you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport; car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car, and plenty of taxis and Ubers are available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life much easier.
