The space
A great apartment for 2 is the perfect base for your trip to Zandvoort. Everything you will need is close to this place. The beach and lively boulevard are within 150 meters of walking distance. As well as the train station with direct connections to Haarlem and Amsterdam.
The studio is stylishly decorated. It features a living room with a kitchenette (without cooking facilities) and bar area, a bathroom with a shower and a bed (2x 90x200, which are pushed together but can be made into 2 single beds).

The neighborhood
Zandvoort has something to offer for almost everyone. From lots of beach clubs and restaurants in summer, where you can have great food and drinks, to more quietness to enjoy nature in the winter times. Generally, all you need is close by and mostly within walking distance. So what are you looking for in your trip?
Two National Parks embed the village; De Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen. So besides strolling on the beach, those are two significant areas to walk or cycle. There's so much more you can do! For instance, mountain biking around the race track, learning how to wave- or kitesurf, and you can even get your PADI. Did you know that Zandvoort also has a nude beach as well?
We also have a great race track called "Circuit Park Zandvoort" (1.2 km), Owned by a member of the Dutch Royal family. They organize many activities and festivities there, like DTM and Historic Grand Prix. So maybe you want to get your race license?
Last but not least, from Zandvoort you can quickly get to Amsterdam by public transport, which allows you to combine an exciting city trip with a relaxing getaway next to the beach.

Getting around
Zandvoort aan Zee has its train station, which you can get in just 27 minutes from Amsterdam Central and 45 minutes from Schiphol Airport. Depending on your plans, public transport will get you around very well. We will share a handy website to plan your routes.

The room was completely clean and modern.
It’s located near the Train Station and also the beach is 3-5 walking minutes away.
The only downside is that it was a little bit pricey and there was no stove to cook some food by yourself.
Apart from that, a really great place to stay for your shorttrip to Zandvoort an Zee

Im Kühlschrank waren zwei Flaschen Heinecken und eine Flasche Rosé! Das war prima ☺️
Schade, dass Check in und Check Out zeitlich so unflexibel sind. Bei schönem Wetter ist die Zeit allerdings gut zu überbrücken.
Ein Föhn wäre ganz prima. Den hatte ich vergessen.
Die Buregeester Engelbertstraat ist die Hauptstraße, das sollte man bedenken 🙉

Die Unterkunft an sich war deutlich kleiner als erwartet. Es handelt sich um ein ausgebautes Dachgeschoss, welches nur über zwei sehr enge Wendeltreppen erreichbar ist - das ist definitiv nichts für ältere oder unsportliche Gäste.
Ausgestattet ist die Unterkunft mit allen notwendigen Dingen - das passt sehr gut.
Leider ist das Bett nicht sonderlich bequem, die Kissen wirken wie tausendfach durchgelegen; hier sollte man definitiv nachbessern.

Von der Wohnung sind der Strand, viele Restaurants und Läden, die Rennstrecke und der Bahnhof fußläufig zu erreichen.

Das einzige was uns gestört hat war der Bewegungsmelder im Flur/Treppenhaus. Dieser ging leider ständig an bei Wind sodass es nicht möglich war mit offenen Fenster zu schlafen..
Ansonsten haben wir nichts auszusetzen 😊

Keine Parkplätze vorhanden die zum haus gehören, gegen gebühr konnte man wie fast überall in Holland parken und es befand sich nichts in der Wohnung wo man sich was fertig machen konnte, kein Backofen, keine Mikrowelle oder Herdplatte.

Die Müllentsorgung fanden wir nur etwas merkwürdig, da wir unseren Müll draußen in die öffentlichen Mülltonnen entsorgen mussten.

Die Fenster sind leider nicht sehr dicht, wahrscheinlich aufgrund der angebrachten Rollos. Während unserem Aufenthalt gab es Sturm, da hat man das schon sehr gemerkt. Ansonsten aber Top.
Die Küche verfügt leider weder über Kochfeld noch kleinen Ofen oder Mikrowelle, das wär schade, abgesehen davon eine sehr schöne, saubere und gute Unterkunft, für einen Kurztrip!

Badezimmerfenster sich nicht öffnen lässt und es dadurch schon etwas muffig-feucht darin roch. Aber halb so wild.
! Außerdem gibt es keinen Toaster/Plattenkocher (das steht auch so in der Beschreibung, aber wir haben da wohl schneller gebucht als gelesen - also keine Kritik, nur als Hinweis für zukünftig Buchende 🙂)
Sonst super Grundausstattung mit Tee, Kaffee und sogar ein paar Kaltgetränken. 🙂

An sich gibt es überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln, außer dass es eine Baustelle direkt neben dem Appartement gab, die um 7 Uhr morgens bis mittags jeden Tag ging, dieses wurde leider nicht kommuniziert.
Ein ausschlafen war daher leider schlicht nicht möglich! Wenn man es im Vorhinein kommuniziert hätte, wäre es wahrscheinlich ein anderes Appartement geworden aufgrund der Umstände..
Wir kommen gerne wieder aber ohne Baustelle! :)

Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und sauber. Leider mussten wir noch ein paar Minuten warten als wir um kurz nach 16.00 Uhr einchecken wollten, weil die Unterkunft noch nicht gesäubert wurde.
Man muss beachten, dass man zusätzlich für die Parkkosten aufkommen muss, da es an der Unterkunft selbst keinen Stellplatz gab. Ganz in der Nähe gibt es aber Parkplätze auf denen man sein Auto auch paar Tage stehen lassen kann gegen Bezahlung.
Was auch etwas zu bemängeln war, war dass es im Bad weder ein Fenster gab, das man öffnen konnte, noch einen Abzug/Lüftung.
Ansonsten war es eine gemütliches und modernes Zimmer.
