The neighborhood
The apartment is situated in the centre of Praia da Luz. Hence, everything you need is just a short walk away – the lovely sandy beach with beachside cafes and restaurants dotted along the pedestrianised promenade. In addition, there are two supermarkets approximately five minutes' walk away, so you can quickly get those freshly baked croissants for breakfast on the balcony.
Why not take one of the local buses to the historic town of Lagos, full of Portuguese history and take a walk back in time through the cobbled streets where you have plenty of shops and restaurants. Or visit the neighbouring village of Burgau, a quaint fishing village to the west.
The west coast is very popular for surfing, with some of the best beaches in the Algarve. This is also the perfect place to use a base whilst exploring the stunning coastline. Walking along the cliff paths of the Algarve is another way to do this, and these magnificent paths are easily accessible from Praia da Luz.
If you are not looking to hire a car, this is the ideal accommodation for you to unwind. With plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, you do not have to wander far to have an excellent and memorable stay in Praia da Luz.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can quickly get around without a car, and there are plenty of taxis and Uber's available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a lot easier.
You can park for free in Luz. Unfortunately, parking in front of the apartment is not always available in summer, but plenty of space will be in the surrounding streets.

We had a great stay. Praia da Luz is a fantastic place, and having a flat just a 3 minute walk away is just perfect! The flat is great, it's spacious and comfortable, there are lots of useful things for the beach like chairs and umbrella!
Some things need to be reviewed as they are in poor condition, and for the price of the night, that's not crazy.
But overall, it was perfect!

We had a great time in Luz and the apartment was perfect for that! Best location and best view! We had enough space and the kitchen was good for cooking! The only thing we didn’t like was the interior design being a bit grey and white. It could be a bit more cozy with warmer lights and more colors. But all in all definitely worth our money!

We stayed in Luz for one week and the accommodation was great. All we needed was provided and on top we the best view ever. The apartment offered everything we needed and was very spacey for two people. The beach, restaurants and a small grocery store were right nearby. But a bigger discounter you need a car. I would recommend a car anyways since there's a lot to see around as well. The apartment was clean. It was a very pleasant stay. Thanks a lot!

Stunning Apartment with Breathtaking Sea Views
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment in Praia de Luz. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking sea view, which we could enjoy from both the living room and the bedroom—waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean was simply unforgettable.
The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Communication with the host was seamless, and they provided great recommendations for the area.

Die Unterkunft entspricht den Bildern und ist zentral gelegen. Die Aussicht aus beiden Balkonen ist ansprechend und die Wohnung hat stets viel Licht. Ein Plus ist, dass es ausreichend Parkplätz gibt und alles zu Fuss erreichbar ist. Die Wände waren etwas hellhörig, doch das entspricht der Natur der Sache (Gebäudekomplex). Allgemein verfügt die Unterkunft über das Nötigste und wird professionell über die Firma Rentabilität Valley gemanagt.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Luz und haben besonders das Frühstück auf dem Balkon mit diesem unglaublichen Ausblick sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war sauber, hell eingerichtet und die Betten bequem. Das Badezimmer war sauber, ausreichend Handtücher waren vorhanden und komplett ausreichend! Die Küche war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, allerdings ist der Kühlschrank für vier Personen sehr klein (wir waren zu zweit) und man musste sich auf den Boden knien, um an das unterste Fach zu kommen. Allgemein könnte die Küche neue Utensilien gebrauchen, da Pfannen und Töpfe sehr abgenutzt waren und nicht besonders stabil wirkten. Die Kommunikation lief einwandfrei, es wurde immer schnell auf Fragen reagiert und der Check-In lief reibungslos. Wir würden diese Wohnung immer wieder buchen und Luz als Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Algarve sehr empfehlen.

Wir (1 Erwachsene, 1 Teenager) waren im Oktober 6 Nächte in dieser Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht aufs Meer war mit sehr wichtig und kriegt definitv eine 10 von 10!
Die Wohnung ist sehr grosszügig und war sauber geputzt. Für uns zwei war alles notwendige vorhanden.
Den Code für das Schlüsselfach bekamen wir frühzeitig und wir konnten pünktlich um 16:00h einchecken.
Unbedingt erwähnen möchte ich die flauschigen Badtücher und das gute WLAN!
Die Kommunikation mit der Vermietung klappte immer einwandfrei und Fragen wurden umgehend beantwortet.
Wir haben immer direkt vor dem Haus oder ganz in der Nähe einen Parkplatz für unser Mietauto gefunden.
Um zu entspannen, kann ich das Spa SAL ganz in der Nähe empfehlen. Luz war für uns der perfekte Standort. nicht zu klein (dass im Oktober alles zu ist) und nicht zu gross (um nicht alles zu Fuss zu erreichen), und gut gelegen um viele Ausflüge zu machen. Man spürte in der Wohnung wohl ein wenig den geschäftigen Sommer... Hier und da fehlte etwas oder funktionierte nicht (Weingläser, Staubsauger, verstopfter Abfluss, Wanduhr...).

Wow! What a beautiful stay. My fiancé and I had an amazing 4 nights here and each day was magical. One of the most beautiful beaches just a 6 minute walk away with lots of restaurants and shops. Very relaxing place to get away. Very quiet. Also a wonderful supermarket 4 minute walk away with everything you can possibly need and more. We’ll be back!

Die Wohnung ist toll gelegen, man braucht auf direktem Weg weniger als 3 Minuten zum Strand. Die Aussicht von den beiden Balkonen ist wunderschön. Besonders toll ist, dass am Nachmittag / Abend die Sonne neben dem Gebäude steht und man ganz entspannt im Schatten den Balkon genießen kann. Da der zweite Balkon vom Schlafzimmer abgeht hat man direkt beim Aufwachen den Sonnenaufgang und das Meer vor Augen - traumhaft. Die Ausstattung ist in Ordnung - für uns war die Waschmaschine sehr hilfreich, da wir den Fischerpfad gewandert sind und so unsere schmutzigen Wandersachen vor der Heimreise waschen konnten. Es gab einen Wäscheständer und Wäschklammern, Waschmittel war im "Starter Kit". Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind sehr sauber und angenehm. Die Wohnung ist großzügig und hell, Klimaanlage befindet sich nur im Wohn/Essbereich, aber wir haben keine gebraucht. Allein das zweite Schlafzimmer ist nicht so schön wie das erste, bei einer Belegung mit 4 Erwachsenen müsste man sicher knobeln :-).

Die gute Lage und Ausstattung der Unterkunft war sehr empfehlenswert. Jederzeit wieder. Nach über 1 1/2 Stunden haben wir telefonisch den richtigen Zugangscode zur Unterkunft erhalten.
Während des Aufenthalts hatten wir unter anderem ein Problem mit dem Ceranfeld, welches nicht funktionierte.
Telefonisch war niemand Verfügbar. Erst nach gut 2 Stunden konnten wir das Problem selbst lösen. Die Rückmeldung kam ebenfalls erst nach 2 Stunden in Form einer Entschuldigung, dass man nicht erreichbar war.

Localização fantástica Check in muito tardio, apelei que o pudesse fazer mais cedo, mas levei horas a esperar que "falassem com a equipa de limpeza" acabei por o fazer à hora permitida da entrada. Check out, muito cedo (10:00h). Nem se podee descansar um pouco no dia da saída. Não percebo, porquê, se os hóspedes tem de sair às 10;00h, como é que os próximos hóspedes só podem fazer check in às 16:00? Com isto, pagamos um dia que não se goza. Não é este tipo de comportamento favorece o turismo.
