The space

Welcome to this cosy one-bedroom apartment in Portimão, perfectly suited for families with up to two children. Simple yet comfortable, it offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday by the ocean.

As you step inside, you’ll find the bathroom immediately on your left. Straight ahead lies the bedroom with a double bed, which opens onto a small covered west facing balcony where you can enjoy a partial sea view. A fan is provided to keep the space cool.

From the entrance to the right, you walk into the inviting living room with a well-equipped kitchen. This space also gives access to the balcony, a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening drink. The living room features a cosy sofa bed, making it ideal for children to sleep comfortably.

Located close to the ocean, this apartment offers easy access to the beach and the vibrant surroundings of Portimão. A great choice for families seeking a simple yet welcoming base to enjoy the Algarve.

The neighborhood

Portimão has something to offer for everyone. The main boulevard along Praia da Rocha beach has many restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and clubs. The charming old town boasts many local shops whereas the commercial shopping center is home to two floors of the familiar big shopping names such as H&M and Zara. Portimão and the surrounding towns offer a stunning coastline of beautiful beaches, charming picturesque towns and great tourist facilities topped with almost perfect weather year-round.

You can link up with the main bus service to visit the eastern and western parts of the Algarve. But if you like exploring the surrounding area, we strongly recommend hiring a car.

The very popular Zoomarine park is just a 15-minute drive away in Guia. You will find two other water parks and the Lagos Zoo about 30 minutes by car from the house.

Getting around

There is public transport available in the area and all around the Algarve. But buses and trains do not go very often and a (rental) car is recommended.
