The space

This beautiful villa in Burgau offers the perfect setting for a relaxing stay by the sea with amazing sea views. With 3 spacious bedrooms and a capacity for up to 6 guests, the modern 242 m² property combines comfort, style and the beach Boca do Rio is at walking distance (500m).

Upon arrival, you can park conveniently under the carport on the private driveway. Stepping inside, the ground floor welcomes you with a bright living room, equipped with air conditioning for your comfort, and direct access to the south-facing terrace and garden. The outdoor space features a private swimming pool, a barbecue, and plenty of room to enjoy the Algarve sun. On this level inside, you will also find a bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom, as well as a separate guest toilet.

Upstairs, the villa boasts the main bedroom and an additional bedroom, each with en-suite bathrooms for added privacy. Both rooms open onto a south-facing balcony, where you can wake up to sweeping views of the ocean and mountains.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, making it easy to prepare meals to enjoy indoors or outside.

The neighborhood

Burgau is a quiet fishing village, situated between Lagos and Sagres. Sheltered from the wind by the cliffs on a small cove is the lovely Praia do Burgau. It is an excellent base for a relaxing beach holidays or exploring the beautiful Western Algarve. It has some amazing restaurants and bars facing the sea, and there are several other beautiful beaches in the area to explore. If your idea of the perfect holiday is to relax in the sun and swim in the sea, this village will provide everything your heart desire.

Three golf courses are within 15 minutes drive, as are many of the Algarve's best surfing beaches. Only 8 kilometres from the historic town of Lagos with its lively nightlife, bustling yacht marina and a huge variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Other things to do in the area include surfing, fishing, diving, golf, tennis and hiking.

The property is located 12 m from Lagos bus station, 500 m from Boca do Rio sand beach, 3 km from Ecomarché, Budens supermarket, 3 km from Santo António Golf, Budens golf course, 11 km from Lusiadas Lagos hospital, 13 km from Lagos train station, 75 km from Faro international airport, 75 km from Faro airport.

Getting around

Although public transport is available in the area, it is limited. If you really want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier. Free street parking is available all throughout and around town.
