The space

Perched on a peaceful hilltop just outside Aljezur, this charming countryside home offers stunning views, privacy, nature, and pure tranquility. As you arrive, a cozy self-sufficient studio with a separate entrance to the house welcomes you on the left. Inside, the bedroom flows into a compact living and fully equipped kitchen area, with its own washing machine and cooking facilities. There is also a dedicated workspace, with a highspeed Starlink internet, perfect for remote working, and with a bathroom to the right and access to a small terrace and garden at the back — an ideal corner for quiet mornings or relaxing after a day of exploring.

Walking straight ahead brings you to the main house, entered through a small corridor with a bathroom on the right, followed by a storage space and the fully equipped kitchen. On the left side of the house, a short corridor leads to two double bedrooms facing the garden. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, one has a shower and WC, the other has a WC, shower and bath with views of the garden. Continuing forward, you’ll reach the spacious open dining and living room. From here, steep stairs lead to the second floor, with a bedroom with 3 single beds, a dedicated work space and a bathroom with WC and shower.

The living room has a cosy warm fire place perfect for winter, with firewood supplied. The property has a total of 4 dedicated work spaces, with a highspeed Starlink internet connection, perfect for remote work.

Wrapping around the heart of the home is a bright garden conservatory filled with natural light, offering multiple seating areas and a small gym corner. Large doors connect this space directly to the terrace and its surrounding garden. Outside, you’ll find a small pool, with stunning views — perfect for warm days. There is an alfresco dining area where you can eat under twinkling fairy lights in summer.

The entire property is surrounded by peaceful landscapes, making it a true retreat for those seeking space, privacy, and a deep connection to nature. A quiet hilltop hideaway where you can unwind, recharge, and experience the panoramic scenery and calm beauty of Aljezur’s countryside.

The neighborhood

Casa das Pinhas sits just outside Aljezur near Rogil, perfectly positioned for exploring the entire Costa Vicentina. Aljezur town is only about 8 minutes away by car, nearby the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina, meaning you’re already surrounded by protected nature, scenic trails, and the raw Atlantic coastline. The ocean itself is just a short drive away, with the spectacular beaches of Arrifana (≈8 km), Monte Clérigo (≈10 km) and Amoreira (≈10 km) all within easy reach. Surf lovers can explore further south to Amado (≈20 km), Bordeira (≈19 km) and Cordoama (≈35 km), while to the north, our personal favourite — Odeceixe (≈15 km) — offers dramatic cliffs, a stunning river mouth, and one of the most beautiful beachscapes in Portugal. Countless smaller, hidden beaches and wild coves dot the coastline in every direction, making this the ideal base for beach hopping, surfing, hiking, or simply taking in the beauty of the Costa Vicentina.

And if you do crave city life at some point, the city of Lagos is only 40 minutes away.

Getting around

From Faro Airport, it takes you about 80 minutes by car to get to Aljezur. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended as public transport is only available to Aljezur town but not up to our home. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.
