The space

Casa Alandra is a 130m² apartment on the first floor of the Pestana Golf Resort, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and enough space for four guests to feel genuinely at home.

You enter into a hallway with a storage room to your right. To the left, the first bedroom is a quiet retreat with a kingsize bed, ceiling fan, and its own ensuite bathroom — bath, toilet, and all the privacy of a small hotel room. Ahead, the living room is the heart of the apartment: a fireplace for cooler evenings, air conditioning for warmer ones, and sliding doors that open onto the south-facing balcony. The views stretch across the resort's greens and gardens, and in the afternoon the sun sits right in front of you.

The kitchen opens onto the living room and is fully equipped — everything you need to cook a proper meal after a day at the beach or on the course. On the other side, the second bathroom has a shower and toilet, and the second bedroom, also with a kingsize bed and ceiling fan, feels tucked away and calm.

Step outside and the resort's shared outdoor pool is close by.

This is a place that gets better the longer you stay.

The neighborhood

The Pestana Golf Resort sits in the hills above Carvoeiro, surrounded by two 18-hole championship golf courses — Gramacho and Vale da Pinta — winding through ancient olive trees and natural rock outcrops. On the resort itself, there are restaurants, a bar, a supermarket, tennis courts, a spa, and an indoor pool.

Carvoeiro village is around 5 minutes by car. It is a compact cliff-top village built around a small cove beach, with whitewashed streets, good restaurants, and a relaxed, year-round feel. The coastline around it is among the most dramatic in the Algarve: the rock formations at Algar Seco are a short drive east, and boat trips to the sea caves of Benagil depart regularly from Carvoeiro beach.

Portimão, with its marina, larger supermarkets, and waterfront restaurants, is around 10 minutes by car. Lagos, with its old town, city beaches, and nightlife, is around 35 minutes.

Getting around

A car is recommended for this location. The resort is well positioned for day trips along the coast in both directions. Faro Airport is around 40-45 minutes by car. Portimão is around 10 minutes, Lagos around 35 minutes. Street parking around the resort is free.
