The neighborhood

The apartment is located behind the Lagos marina area. The Marina area itself has all you need including restaurants, bars with live music and a large supermarket. Lagos downtown is within 15 minutes' walking distance.

Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.

Getting around

By car from Faro Airport: approx. 1 hour by car
By train from Faro Airport: approx 2 hours

Many car rental companies are represented at Faro Airport or nearby
Lagos has both a train station and bus station. The train station is useful for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto and the bus station for buses towards the West Coast of the Algarve.
Taxis or Uber are also widely available, but If you’d like to explore more of the Algarve’s stunning coastline and Natural Parks, renting a car is highly recommended.
