The upper floor is the heart of the villa. Furnished with comfortable lounge seating, uninterrupted views, and the Sunset Terrace with stunning views over Monchique, it feels as though the entire Algarve lies at your feet. Downstairs, there is a private pool, a ping pong room, BBQ terraces that follow the sun all day, and space for eight.

The space

Casa Das Brisas is a two-storey villa of 250m², sleeping up to 8 guests across four bedrooms including a Master Bedroom with a connected twin-bed room. All sleeping areas are on the ground floor.

A wide entrance hallway sets the tone - marble floors, arched doorways, and natural light coming through from the garden on both sides. The kitchen is on the left as you enter and opens up into a panoramic dining room that gives access to the outdoor terrace, outdoor dining area and BBQ. A small living room follows complete with SMART TV. Opposite the kitchen is the utility room housing the washing machine and extra fridge.

Further along the hallway, a room with a ping pong table opens up before leading to the first three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom with bath, shower, and toilet, and each
opening directly onto the pool and south-facing garden: Bedroom 1 has two single beds, configurable as a kingsize. Bedroom 2 has a kingsize bed. Bedroom 3 has two single beds, also configurable as a kingsize. Every room has its own AC unit.

On the right side of the entrance, a short corridor leads to a separate toilet, a shared bathroom, and Bedroom 4 with a kingsize bed. This bedroom has its own private terrace and access to the pool and garden area. Connected to Bedroom 4 is a single room with two single beds. These two rooms share the corridor bathroom and work well together as a family suite or used as a dressing room.

Upstairs, the main living space runs the full width of the villa, with multiple seating areas positioned to make the most of the breathtaking views across the Algarve coastline. Sliding doors lead out to a south-facing balcony with lounge seating ideally located to watch the sun setting over the hills.

Outside, terraces wrap all the way around the ground floor, so there is always somewhere in the sun or shade depending on the time of day. The private south-facing pool is perfectly positioned to make the most of the villa's exceptional setting. Surrounded by sun loungers and framed by panoramic views across the Algarve countryside to the distant coastline, it is a place where hours effortlessly drift by.

The neighborhood

Located in the rural hills above Boliqueime, Casa das Brisas enjoys one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Algarve. From the villa's expansive terraces, the landscape unfolds in every direction with views of the Atlantic coastline stretching as far as the eye can see. Despite its peaceful hilltop setting, Casa das Brisas is just 15 minutes from Vilamoura's beaches, marina, restaurants and golf courses. Yet many guests find themselves perfectly content to stay put simply soaking in one of the finest views in southern Portugal.

Praia da Falésia, one of the most striking stretches of coastline in the Algarve, is in the same direction: a long open beach backed by dramatic red and ochre cliffs, less crowded than the resort beaches and worth the short detour. Albufeira's old town and its wider beach are around 20 minutes away.

Inland, Loulé is around 15 minutes by car. The Saturday market in the covered market hall is one of the better ones in the region — local cheese, smoked fish, handmade ceramics, and the kind of produce that supermarkets here do not stock. The Moorish castle walls in the town centre are well preserved and worth a walk around. Quarteira's Wednesday street market, between here and the coast, is good for fish and vegetables.

Getting around

A car is essential. The villa sits in a rural area outside the village with no practical public transport connection. Faro Airport is around 25 to 30 minutes by car. Vilamoura is around 15 minutes. Albufeira around 20 minutes. Loulé town around 15 minutes. Private parking for 4 cars is available inside the gate at no extra charge.
