The space

Barão Levante - Studio is a 30m² studio, all on one level, in the village of Barão de São Miguel.

You step straight into the living area from the entrance. The double bed sits at the back of the room, with a sofa bed also available, so two guests can each have their own bed if preferred, for example two friends travelling together. The kitchen is on the left, opening onto a small outdoor patio that guests share with the apartment next door. The bathroom, fitted with a shower and toilet, is on the left of the bed.

The studio sleeps a maximum of 2 guests. There is no air conditioning or TV; guests have an electric heater and a fan.

Settle in on the patio in the evening, with the quiet of the village all around you.

The neighborhood

Barão de São Miguel is a small whitewashed village in the parish of Vila do Bispo, in the far western Algarve. The village has kept its rural character, with a 16th-century church at its centre and rolling countryside covered in rock-roses around it.

Burgau is around 5 km away, and Salema around 8 km, both with sandy beaches on the sheltered south coast. Sagres and Cabo de São Vicente, mainland Europe's south-western tip, are around a 20-minute drive. Lagos, with a wider choice of restaurants and shops, is around 16 minutes by car.

Getting around

A car is recommended for this location. Public transport in Barão de São Miguel is very limited. Faro Airport is around 1 hour by car. Free parking is available at the property, inside the gate and on the street outside.
