The space

Casa das Figueiras is a detached villa of 230m² spread across two floors, sleeping up to 6 guests.

On the ground floor you will find a living room with a fireplace, a bar area with stools, and a fully equipped kitchen with access to the outdoor dining terrace. There is also a separate dining room with chandelier lighting and a bathroom on this level.

The first floor has three bedrooms: one double room and two twin rooms, each with air conditioning. Two bathrooms serve the upper floor.

Outside, a private pool (4.5 x 9m, 1m shallow end and 2m deep end) is surrounded by a stone terrace with sun loungers. A south-facing balcony off the upper level looks out over the garden and the open countryside beyond.

Step out of the pool at the end of the day, pour a glass, and let the Algarve evening do the rest.

Private parking is available in the driveway directly at the property.

➤ The pool is unfenced and has a deep end of 2 metres. Guests travelling with young children or non-swimmers should take this into account. We recommend not leaving children unattended near the pool at any time.
➤ Kids and babies are welcome. The villa is suitable for infants under 2 and children 2+. Please let us know if you need anything specific for young guests.

The neighborhood

Casa das Figueiras sits in the rural parish of Guia, a quiet area inland from the Albufeira coastline. The village of Guia is known throughout the Algarve for its piri-piri chicken restaurants — a ritual worth doing at least once. Zoomarine, the Algarve's dolphin and water park, is within 5 minutes by car.

The centre of Albufeira, with its old town lanes, seafood restaurants, and lively beach scene, is around 10 to 15 minutes by car. The nearest beach, Praia da Galé, is a wide sandy bay framed by low ochre cliffs with calm, family-friendly conditions — approximately 15 minutes by car.

For day trips, Lagos and its dramatic cliff scenery at Ponta da Piedade is around 45 minutes west. Silves, with its red sandstone Moorish castle, is about 20 minutes inland.

Getting around

A car is essential for this location. Public transport connections in Guia are very limited. Faro Airport is approximately 35 to 40 minutes by car via the A22. Lagos is around 45 minutes west. Private parking is available at the property.
