Our group of four adults spent 3 nights in this beautiful apartment in Lagos during our tour through Portugal. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped but the outdoor patio is the star of the show. It's an easy walk to the beach or restaurants in the beach. The owner provided lots of information but locating the right apartment and code for the gates was tricky. Luckily two residents helped us out. Parking inside the gates or the parking garage is very tight. We would definitely recommend the apartment.

Positive: Grosses Appartment direkt am Strand, grosse Terasse mit Meerblick, Privatparkplatz. Ruhig gelegen und ca. 2 km Fussweg zum Hafen und nochmal 1 km und man ist im Zentrum von Lagos. Einige Beachbars/ Beachrestaurants auch in der Nähe. Negative: Matratze in Doppelbett sehr hart. Nerviger self-service Checkin sowie anonyme Kommunikation. OK wenn es funktioniert würde aber wir haben den falschen Türcode erhalten und mussten Kontakt über Hotline aufnehmen.

A very comfortable nice equipped apartment with a huge balcony and walking distance to the beach. For a family with young children and especially teenager kids perfect, because of the pool walking distance to the beach and Lagos.

This was an amazing place to stay, right across from the beach. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and had everything you could need. The balcony is one of the biggest around and was awesome to sit on and enjoy your morning coffee. Beds were comfortable, all appliances worked perfectly. Very private and quiet. We loved our stay in this condo, we will be back!

The property was very clean, well laid out and the management company was very prompt with communications. The location is a quick drive to old town Lagos. Grocery store nearby for supplies very handy. The property could provide a more complete starter kit including washer detergent, additional bathroom tissue and more than 4 towels. We picked these items up the following day but we couldn't complete clothes washing as planned upon our arrival after 6 pm. Minor details but we experienced a great quiet stay

We loved the location on the beach and enjoyed the large deck. It took us about 30 minutes to walk into town. The restaurants across the road were lovely. If you are planning on staying for an extended visit, this is a great option. For short term stays it isn’t ideal because the property management company only supplies one garbage bag, one dishwasher puck, no shampoo, and one bath towel each. No beach towels! There is a washing machine, but no dryer. When we ran into a problem with the safe, it took them several days to come up with a solution.

This property was beautiful and right across from the ocean. We loved the condo and especially the large balcony! Check in was a bit of a pain because we could not get the gates open and the code provided was incorrect. We spend 30 minutes trying to figure it out and finally got assistance from another resident. Also. There was still a bad smell coming from one of the bathrooms despite requests to the management company that they ensure that door was taken care of before we arrived (as previous reviewers mentioned it before). That was disappointing. If you can get past that door the place is great, provided you get the correct codes for the gates!

When we arrived there were 2 towels for 4 people even though we told them there were 4. When we told them they said they would send them the next day! 😮. Not acceptable. The worst part was the smell of sewer gases in the bathroom. It was horrible and when we told the owner they didn’t do anything about it. When we looked further into the comments we could see that this has been a problem since 2021. The shower floors had a lot of mold and mildew. It was lovely being across from the beach but the listing didn’t show the busy road in front. Great location. It’s too bad because this could be a great property but needs attention. Wish we had dug further into the reviews. The warnings were there

The apartment had everything we needed, as described in listing. The best feature of course was the balcony, where we spend most of our day enjoying the winter sun. We didn't have a car, and walk to marina/town/grocery was easy, and the bus stop right in front of the apartment was great when we didn't want to walk or were going further.

Die Wohnung ist sehr hochwertig eingerichtet, hat einen sehr großen Balkon mit Blick auf den Atlantik. Einfach ein Traum! Man wacht morgens auf und sieht den Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und uns rundrum wohl gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank auch an die Agentur, es hat alles geklappt, war gut organisiert und die Ansprechpartner waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Azul, which was very clean and well equipped. The outdoor space was very large , with a view of the ocean. It is about a 30 minute easy walk to the historic part of Lagos, which was perfectly fine with us. We loved Lagos with its quaint streets, shops, and restaurants. The beach across the street is wide and beautiful! I would definitely recommend a stay at Casa Azul!

If you're looking for a place to stay on Meia Praia in Lagos, this place is great! It's a very quick walk from the beautiful beach including a few beach front restaurants. The walk into old town is easy but about 35 minutes. The patio is amazing and there is a rooftop pool. My only complaint which is why I only gave this place four stars is because they gave us the wrong code to get into the gates. Luckily, when we arrived the car gate was open and entering the unit was very easy. When we left for dinner we tried the codes and they did not work. Communication was great but they kept asking us to try the wrong code. When we returned home later, the codes did not work and no one responded until the morning with new codes. Aside from this the place was lovely, and I'm sure the codes will be updated within the communication pdf.

Modern apartment 25 min walk to town
Modern apartment about 25 min walk from Lagos city, located near Meia Praia beach in a private gated building. The check in process was very stressful - we received a pdf document with a lot of missing details: No one met us at the apartment to check us in, everything was sent by email. The Rental Valley agency’s phone number is never answered and there is a long wait for someone to answer a question by text/email for several hours. Apartment is listed on the ground floor, but it’s actually 1 floor up from the ground floor and the floor is labeled “0”; the parking spot assigned to the apartment was occupied by some other vehicle for a couple of days and we were instructed to look elsewhere on the streets to leave a car, what to do in this case and how to handle this situation was not clear. Nothing was provided on getting to town (bus number or walking directions), this was not included in the pdf document. Apartment was nice with great balcony, but one of the bedrooms does not have a bathroom inside the room, it’s down the hall, which was inconvenient and not listed correctly in the description. Only two chairs for 4 people for the beach were provided

Positive: La proximité de la plage, juste la rue à traverser. La piscine sur le toit est un plus. Un arrêt de bus juste devant pour aller en centre ville pour ceux qui n ont pas le courage d y aller à pieds (30mn par une promenade qui longe la plage) parking privé gratuit mais il a du stationnement à côté Negative: Problème de baie vitrée qui ne ferme pas dans une chambre (pas de système de fermeture) . Ce n est pas sécurisant pour un logement en rdc sur élevé. Problème de sanitaire dans une des 2 salles de bains. Difficile d avoir de l eau chaude, évacuation des WC entraînant par moments de mauvaises odeurs dans l appartement

This was perfect for 3 people. The balcony was big and overlooked the beach. Check in was a bit confusing but if you follow the directions provided to a T you will be able to figure it out. Tight turn into the parking spot but overall fantastic stay! We were even able to check in a bit earlier than expected.

Mooi ruim apartement, comfortabel meubilair en groot balkon met fijne tuinmeubels. Erg goed ingerichte keuken met vaatwasser en wasmachine (geen droger). In de omschrijving staat dat er geen wifi is maar dat is er wel, ook is een föhn aanwezig die er volgens de advertentie niet is. Check-in instructies zijn uitgebreid en duidelijk. Prachtig strand aan de overkant, diverse restaurants op loopafstand.

Beautiful View
We stayed here for 11 nights in November. The apartment has beautiful views and is located by, in our opinion, one of the best beaches on the Algarve, Maia Praia. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard and if you need anything, the team at Rental Valley are excellent with immediate responses 7 days a week.

Das Schlechte vorweg: der Check-In ist eine Katastrophe. Wir haben über eine Stunde gebraucht, um endlich in die Wohnung zu gelangen. Die Beschreibung ist viel zu ungenau und nicht eindeutig. Am Maingate befinden sich 6 Schlüsselkästen, welche alle nicht funktionieren. Auch am kleinen Gate wird man nicht fündig. Die Hotline war um 20:00 Uhr nicht zu erreichen, obwohl bis 22:00 Uhr angegeben war. Erst nach dem Versuch, auf allen Kanälen die Vermieter zu erreichen (Telefon, Email, Kontakt Airbnb, ..), hat uns Rental Valley über Airbnb geantwortet. Gut informiert war man auf der Seite aber auch nicht. Erst mit Hilfe anderer Bewohner ist es uns nach mehr als einer Stunde gelungen, den Schlüssel zu "finden". Fazit: man muß zuerst durch eines der Tore in den Hof, der Schlüssel ist dann in einem Schlüsselkasten neben der Wohnungstür und nicht in einem der Kästen am Hauseingang. Die Wohnung selbst konnten wir nur anhand der Fotos im Inserat erahnen, genau beschrieben war sie auch nicht. Das war leider kein guter Anfang eines sonst sehr schönen Aufenthaltes. Die Wohnung selbst entspricht der Beschreibung, ist sauber und sehr gut gelegen. Das Doppelbett in einem der Schlafzimmer ist etwas hart und unbequem. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die Bäder großzügig und neu. Toll ist der Pool auf dem Dach. Er ist sauber, es gibt Liegen und man hat eine herrliche Aussicht. Die Tiefgarage haben wir nur einmal befahren und dann nicht weiter benutzt. Sie ist sehr klein, eng und verwinkelt und kaum zu befahren. Aber man kann direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite auf einem großen Platz kostenlos parken. Jetzt, wo wir wissen, wie man in die Wohnung gelangt, würden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Positive: The apartment was lovely and well equipped Negative: Lack of info about local amenities The apartment was a long way from town and any shops which was difficult for us as we didn’t have a car. Local bus service was supposed to be hourly but was at best late or didn’t stop. Taxis were hard to book. More info would have helped. Also Tv wouldn’t work and after a few days waiting for assistance we tried changing the batteries and it worked. Also despite working to the letter of the instructions the safe would not open and we had to lock our valuables in our suitcases which was a pain. Again no one came out or phoned to help us fix it. Also if two people tried to shower at same time, one got cold water.

Negative: Quizás por ser la primera vez que utilizo este sistema de recogida de llaves, para mi fue un poco enredoso. Positive: Only rental , no food. A well appointed rental. With a few adjustments could be an excellent stay, see negative comments. Negative: Poor quality towels having been over washed. Had to request extra bath towels as only one supplied per person for whole week. Beds had a plastic under sheet which meant a good nights sleep was impossible. Did not have any shade on the balcony when in full sunlight.

Very nice location! Huge terrasse. Nicely equiped. We had a pleasent stay! Minor point, there is occasionally a sewer smell in the airbnb. Also, note that the rooftop with the pool had constructions during our stay and very few chair! Finally, the beach is right in front of the location and is truly amazing! One of the best beach in lagos.
