Newly renovated 2-bedroom townhouse in the heart of the old town of Lagos. The house is set over four floors and is more suited to people that want to enjoy the local cuisine and nightlife, that this historic, yet very modern town has to offer.
The space
On entering the house, you walk up a set of steps taking you into the open-plan lounge and kitchen area. This has all of the modern appliances that you will need to cook some of the local fresh fish available at the nearby fish market or produce from the weekly Farmers Market, just a 5-minute walk away.
Down to the ground floor, you have a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a small utility area next door. Then going back up through the house to the third floor you have an office area, should you wish to do some work whilst you are away. On this floor, you will find the second double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.
Moving up to the fourth and final floor is where you will find the beautiful roof terrace where you can spend your days lying on the sun loungers soaking up the sun or enjoying a lovely meal prepared on the BBQ. This has to be one of the best places to enjoy your holiday where you can truly relax and enjoy all that Lagos and the Algarve has to offer with its views towards Meia Praia Beach and the Old Town of Lagos.

The neighborhood
The townhouse is located right next to the Lagos marina area. The Marina area has all you need including restaurants, bars with live music and a large supermarket.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You have both a local and national bus service as well as a train service near the centre of Lagos, so getting out and about is quite easy. Due to the location of the property, there is no allocated parking, however there are paying facilities nearby should you wish to hire a car.

Het appartement is super gelegen en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is verdeeld over 4 verdiepingen, met een groot dakterras waar je heerlijk kunt zitten. Tijdens ons verblijf zaten er kakkerlakken in het appartement (op de slaapkamer, in de douche). Dit hebben we aangegeven en na 2 dagen kregen we reactie dat ‘dat eenmaal kan gebeuren’. Voor de prijs die je betaalt verwachtten wij wel dat dit in ieder geval wat serieuzer opgepakt zou worden. Verder was het appartement wel erg mooi.

What a phenomenal place. If you want to be minutes walk to the life of town center, but also have a quiet oasis when you want to relax, this is the spot. The roof deck was perfect for a late afternoon drink and snacks before dinner. The seafood/sandwich shop literally around the corner is great too. Rent with confidence that what you see is what you’ll get.

Great location right on the edge of the old city center. Very close to restaurants, shops and activities. We had a blast exploring and trying new things every day, all within walking distance. The apartment has many great qualities. It is stylish with nice and useful appliances. Having a washer & dryer was helpful. The beds and linens are quality and comfy. The kitchen is well-appointed with all you need for cooking and enjoying meals. The rooftop deck was a delight to enjoy in the mornings and evenings. Annoyances - the bathroom exhaust fans are tragically undersized. Every time you use the shower the bathroom and adjoining bedroom become saturated in excessive humidity. You can see damage happening to the property from this issue. We remain puzzled why this isn't immediately fixed. Multiple reviewers have noted this. The property owners are also impacted as it is degrading the facility. We felt safe with the deadbolt door and powered metal security shades for the windows/doorwalls. Despite these, there is still a significant noise from people passing by at Midnight => 3:00 am. I guess it is just a fact of being so centrally located. The last minor annoyance is the living area couch. It has to be the least comfortable piece of furniture I've ever encountered. The coordinating chair is okay. That couch needs to be replaced.

Nice modern multi-level apartment with good amenities including well-appointed kitchen, nice appliances, washer/dryer, comfortable bedding and nice quality towels. Great location close to MANY shops, restaurants, beaches and attractions.
Negatives:
A little difficult to find. Hard to drag baggage to location from train station. Would suggest an optional check-in that provides local pick-up and escort to facility for a small upcharge.
Bathrooms do not have sufficient exhaust fans to evacuate steam from showers. This made bathrooms "swampy", especially the lower level bedroom/bath combo.
Overall we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our Lagos, Portugal experiences. Apartment was very stylish and functional with an excellent location.

Die Lage ist super. Es war auch sauber! Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist im Keller , es stinkt und es gibt kein Fenster!!!!! Dusche im Schlafzimmer also Feuchtigkeit mehr wie genug ohne Fenster! Right at the edge of old town, it is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the beach. Kitchen is well furnished, first and second level are bright and airy. Host was lovely to work with. The second bedroom is actually in the basement with no windows. Although the apartment was otherwise spotless, the downstairs bedding had to be washed because the sheets were full of sand.

I am writing to express my concerns regarding my recent stay at your Airbnb property in Lagos. Unfortunately, I encountered several significant issues that impacted my experience.
Firstly, I noticed what appeared to be mold on the ceiling, which raised serious health concerns, especially considering that mold can pose various health risks. Additionally, I suffer from arthritis, and I believe the presence of mold and the overall environment may have exacerbated my condition, causing increased discomfort during my stay.
Furthermore, I would like to bring to your attention that there was a leak in the shower that caused water to drain across the bathroom floor. This not only created an uncomfortable situation but also posed a slip hazard.
Given these circumstances, I request a full refund due to the health risks experienced during my stay. I believe this is a reasonable request considering the extreme nature of these issues.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft! Es hat alles sehr gut geklappt, und die Unterkunft ist einfach nur ein Traum. Die Lage ist ideal, mitten in der Stadt von Lagos, nur die Parkplatz Situation ist schwierig, darüber wurden wir aber vorab schon informiert. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer, eins im Keller und eins im 1. Stock und das im Keller hat kein Fenster und liegt neben der Garage. Es wurde alles schön vorbereitet und wir haben sogar ein kleines Willkommens Paket bekommen, mit Spülmittel, Schwamm, Duschgel,… Die Dachterasse ist wirklich top, der Blick bis zum Meer ist wunderschön. Der Grill am Dach war aber leider defekt, da wir aber die Unterkunft auch wegen des Grill genommen hatten wurde vom Vermieter schnell für Ersatz gesorgt und wir haben einen Einweggrill bekommen.
Die Unterkunft kann man auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Location was great, everything was walking distance within a few minutes. Though a few things to note is that the front door is such a big struggle to open, there is also a flooding issue within the bathrooms. After taking a shower water flooded all throughout the floor into the bedroom as well. I brought this up to the host, they noted that they were not aware of a flooding issue previously, though when I was reading a past review, someone did note this issue as well so I assume that there was still not fix to it. There is also A LOT of MOLD on the ceiling from the stairs to the third floor, I would be cautious of this. The floors were grainy and dirty. They only provide 2 pillows per bed, 1 pillow per person and they’re really flat, wasn’t comfortable to sleep.

Very good location in the old town of Lagos. The roof terrace was spacious. The bed’s were comfy and the place was clean and modern. The two bathrooms in the bedrooms posed quite a big issue, particularly the one in the upstairs bedroom. Even a quick shower caused the whole bathroom to flood which then spread to the bedroom floor. As we were completely unaware that this would happen, all our belongings got wet and it also posed a safety issue. We used all the towels to try dry the floor and it was still extremely wet which made the tiled floor very slippy. This made us afraid to shower in the bedroom so had to utilise the shower on the terrace. The bathroom in the downstairs bedroom also flooded but not as badly. The bedroom downstairs also has no windows. Another unpleasant feature was the roof completely covered in mould on the way up to the terrace. Found it hard to justify the price at times.

Couldn’t have picked a more perfect location. Would definitely book if you’re a group of 4, for 2 people it was WAY too big (and a bit pricey) but we enjoyed nonetheless. Everything is walking distance, amazing bars and restaurants to get too. We even walked to the beach (took us about 35 mins) and was such a scenic route. The balcony doors and the rooftop were just stunning! I want to go back but with a couple more friends in the near future. Bathrooms were super clean, kitchen was nice. I would recommend maybe having some laundry detergent or powder so you could use the washing machine but other than that, no qualms. Loved it!

If a good nights sleep is important to you then this is not a good place to stay. The property is not good at keeping the noise out as we heard everyone walking by and the cars driving over metal crates created a loud banging noise. The problem continued throughout the night and into the morning so there was never a time that we were not woken up by it.

This is the perfect location in Lagos and slightly above downtown to escape some noise. 5 minute walk to local shops and restaurants and 10 minute walk to the beach and marina. Folgenden Gegebenheiten waren wir nicht zufrieden: zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleidung (fehlende Kleiderstange im Kleiderschrank), zu wenig Gläser vorhanden, Türen im Hauptschlafzimmer zum Bad war nur schwer zu bewegen und bei der anderen Tür war das Schloß defekt. Im Wohnzimmer gab es für 4 Personen zu wenig Sitzmöglichkeiten (nur ein Sessel und ein Sofa). Das zweite Schlafzimmer war im Keller, hatte kein Fenster, was so nicht deutlich in der Beschreibung erwähnt wurde. Das Bad im zweiten Schlafzimmer war zu eng. Der Duschschlauch war defekt. Die Fotos im Internet entsprechen nicht immer der vorgefundenen Realität. Wir finden es bedauerlich, dass die beschriebenen Defekte vor unserer Anreise nicht behoben wurden und hoffen, dass dies vor der Anreise der nächsten Gäste geschieht.

Good location and a nice house but we had bigger expectations based on pictures and price. We especially enjoyed the sunny rooftop and the moderness of the house. Some minus points for no comforters, sheets only. We had to collect all quilts from the house to stay warm at night. We also had to buy detergent for both dishwasher and washing machine as there were none provided. We also did not have a wine opener and had to go to the restaurant next door to open it for us. We saw that there were reviews saying the same thing so it would have been an easy fix from the host.

The place is lovely- the roof terrace a dream- BUT….the basement bedroom is PROBLEMATIC - no window- if God forbid there were a kitchen fire upstairs, it would be disastrous. NO WAY OUT! There is a nearby garage door but when I inquired, was told “NO- can NOT be opened. “ I believe this is unethical and probably illegal. Also the ALL-in-1 basement bathroom is so quirky/tiny - the shower gets everything wet- but- I could handle that all in one design - if not for the safety issue. Honestly, i considered NOT STAYING ! My suggestion- if you want to stay here- get info on how to open the garage door of the utility room. The management company is responsive but there’s just so much they can do. And… a small thing… guest are asked to empty dishwasher before leaving. Not easy to time it. . And also asked to take out all trash but…. No cans nearby. Hmmmm. Pick and choose your battles. Mine is safety!!!

There was a miscommunication from our end towards this guest, which we regret as it has understandably influenced her feeling of safety inside the property. But the garage door opens from the inside without issue by simply pulling a lever next the door itself to unlock it and then sliding the door open.

Our group LOVED this apartment! The location couldn’t have been better. Steps from all the excitement yet a block away so the noise wasn’t bothersome. Easy walk to the beach.
Finding the place was difficult at first as the provided map link was for a different address down the street. The home was great, comfortable, and modern. One bedroom was upstairs and one downstairs from the main living space. This was wonderful as we had private areas to get ready in. With a total of 2.5 bathrooms, getting ready was easy with 4 adults.
The washer and dryer were an added bonus!! The rooftop terrace was a great way to end the evening. The view of the church was just as described. Only call out would be there wasn’t a wine key- I communicated that to the host so hopefully they add one for the next guest. You should have no doubts- just book it! :)

This location will really test your relationship lol. Parking and driving to this location will definitely have you and your partner in fight or flight mode, the roads are tinnyyyyyy but thats the whole city not just this place. Its a war zone trying to find parking close by then you have to carry all your luggage with you. This place was really beautiful inside, but there wasn't much in terms of "extras" there was only hand and dish soap available, normally when we stay at airbnbs they will provide body wash, salt/pepper, etc. We overall enjoyed our stay but when booking this i cant stress enough, the parking is a nightmare and you're RIGHT beside a church that rings every 30 minutes for 9+ hours, if i never hear a church bell again it will be too soon. The place its self is beautiful and the terrace was my favorite part, the host is also very responsive and helpful but they dont mess around with the check in and check out times.

Leider liegt eins der Zimmer ohne Fenster im Keller. Das Haus ist ein Traum, die Lage toll. Wir konnten den gesamten Urlaub die Terrasse nicht nutzen, da der Schirm defekt war und uns trotz Zusage bei Einzug von Rental Valley kein Ersatz geliefert wurde. Da dort der einzige Sitzplatz für 4 war, sehr enttäuschend!!! Kein ko für das Haus sondern für die Agentur! Zudem gab es viele Versprechungen ohne Einhaltung, kein guter Service und leider bei so einem Highlight des Hauses eine absolute negative Bewertung die Folge. Schade für die Besitzer.

This is a nice place to stay in a great location. The house is functional - the furniture is adequate, but not overly comfortable or sophisticated. The upstairs bedroom is decent - the sliding bathroom door didn’t work great, but with some effort closed. The downstairs bedroom had no windows and a bathroom that is hard to move around in, but the kids accepted sleeping there. The rooftop is nice, but would have been better if the glass surround was cleaner. Overall the house was very functional, just a bit on the sterile/lack of character side. Would also be nice if beach towels and sun umbrellas were provided. Would be so easy to have them in the garage.

Lovely apartment which is very close to the centre of Lagos. Walkable to the town centre and marina area and lots of bars/restaurants close by. Clean apartment and we really enjoyed using the rooftop terrace! Rental valley were very responsive and contact with Carolina via what’s app to check in and meet her at the property was very helpful. The only things I would flag for future guests is that one of the bedrooms is on the ground floor with no windows which we weren’t expecting and it would have been helpful if more toilet roll, dishwasher tablets (only 1 tablet was provided) and hand towels had been provided. But overall, we had a great stay!!

The location of this apartment is amazing. You could not ask for a better spot. The view of the rooftop is great and the ease with which to get around was fantastic. There was a great list given of things to explore, but it won’t take long to discover things on your own. Overall, the spot is very good, but there were some things that weren’t working. The main AC unit just blew hot air, there were no hand towels/wash clothes available and there is no shampoo/shower amenities. The kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommend shutting the window sun shades during the day as this keeps the apartment cool.

This place was amazing. We fell in love with the rooftop terrace. The apartment was in immaculate shape. The inside looks even better than the photos online. It's modern, lots of natural light, comfortable beds, three bathrooms. Also, it's in a perfect location, only a block away from the center of town and two blocks from the marina. I highly recommend this property for a stay in Lagos.

Beautiful place in the heart of Lagos’s old town. We were able to find parking easily and the check in process was very easy. The place was clean, beds were comfortable, and the rooftop terrace is a great addition. Would recommend!

Great location for this spacious townhouse! The space doesn’t look exactly like the photos, is not as staged with props upon arrival. Super walkable to all the neighborhoods in Lagos and nearby parking was not an issue. The street the townhouse sits on is heavy on foot traffic and could be a little loud at points in the night when people walked by and were being loud. Rental Valley was very communicative and helpful, I would stay here again!

Two couples spent three nights in the space and we easily could have stayed another week. Such a great location to all of the old town of Lagos without being in the more busy area of old town. Walk to restaurants, shopping, waterfront, beaches. Spacious and living areas, and we used the rooftop patio every day and evening. We will be back and will stay here again.

Lob: Die Lage, moderne, hochwertige Renovierung, attraktive Dachterasse. Kritik: Das Schlafzimmer in der untersten Etage war fensterlos und ohne Belüftung. Eine Zumutung!! Die Küche war hochwertig gestaltet, aber: die Austattung mit Töpfen, Geschirr und Besteck war mehr als dürftig. Mit jeweils 4 Einheiten ist die Spülmaschine überflüssig, da Besteck und Gechirr zwischendurch wieder gebraucht wurden und so von Hand gespült werden mussten. Der Hauptpreis geht an die Bratpfanne billigster Machart, Beschichtung durch Reinigungsvorgänge vor längerer Zeit vollständig abgetragen, der Boden war extrem durchgebogen. Angesetzte Speisereste waren sehr unapetitlich!! Die Töpfe waren ähnlich. Die Küchenasstattung steht in keinem Verhältnis zu übrigen Ausstattung. Für wenig Geld wäre dieses unangenehme Erlebnis vermeidbar.

I would only suggest more info on public parking options since it is difficult to park near the house. We found parking on our own but it should be recommended to drop off bags, look for scarce parking and provide info on the near public parking places.

The house is ideally located and within walking distance to the beaches, grocery stores, attractions, and so many restaurants. We stayed for 3 months and look forward to returning. The property managers were very accommodating and responsive to our questions.

The deck is great. The kitchen and living area are spacious. The freezer was clogged with ice and needed to be defrosted. The unit was generally clean but could have been more thoroughly cleaned. Perfect location though. Close to everything.

Super easy check in. The location is amazing! The area is cute and close to a whole bunch of amazing restaurants. The rooftop is not as clean as desired but not much of a hinderance for just a quick wipe. It’s got a super cute view to the church next door!
The AC units need rest so if you need them to be on throughout the night I would time it so that it’s turned off a little while before you go to bed , otherwise it may turn off during the evening and can make for a uncomfortable sleep

Perfect location, lovely outside area and two bedrooms with a generous living area. We had a really good time there and would definitely look to stay there again if we came back to lagos!
Positives: Brilliant location for exploring lagos and walking to the beaches. Felt very safe and secure. Lots of clothes hanging space. Good aircon system once we worked out how to use it properly. Really good facilities we used the washing machine lots. The balcony area is brilliant, we didn’t get to use the barbecue but lots of food prep area and seating upstairs. Good smart tv with Netflix and Spotify etc. We met Andreea at check in and she was really lovely and helpful. The team were really quick with replies and we’re always at hand if we had any questions. The beds were clean and comfy. Good price for the location and space when split between four of us. Good wifi- the only place we couldn’t get it was on the balcony.
Negatives: Downstairs bedroom is small with no windows and you can hear the street noise through the garage although it’s not too busy. No wardrobe space in the downstairs or space for suitcases but there is plenty of hanging and drawer space on the upstairs floors. The sofa could do with a bit of a clean but all other soft furnishing were really clean. There are only one hand towel and bath towel each which wasn’t enough for 8 night so we did have to wash them during our stay. Both showers did start to overflow a little if you had more than a 5 min shower. It is opposite the church where the bells chime every 30mins- we quite enjoyed it but something to bear in mind.

Modern townhouse in a great location near the town centre. The roof terrace was a fantastic spot for relaxing and dining in the evening. Our flight was delayed but Andreea still met us in the evening to check-in. We would definitely stay here again. It’s worth bearing in mind that the bells in the adjacent church sound every 30 minutes between 9am-9pm, but you get used to it very quickly and it becomes quite charming.

Die Wohnung ist eigentlich toll: schick, gut gelegen und eine großartige Dachterasse. Was unser Erlebnis einschränkt sind eine Reihe von Kleinigkeiten - schlecht anlaufende Duschen, fehlende Decken, muffiger Geruch in einem der Schlafzimmer etc., die eigentlich nicht so ärgerlich gewesen wären, wenn nicht gleichzeitig der Vermieter so kleinlich und wenig kooperativ wäre.

Lage, Sauberkeit, Ausstattung Bei weniger als 10 Tagen gibt es nur einen Satz Handtücher pro Person. Unsere Bitte um mehr Handtücher wurde ignoriert, was ich als "no-go" erachte. 2. SZ im UG, ohne Fenster.
