Newly refurbished 5-bedroom (including game room) villa with incredible views over the ocean and endless Natural Park
The space
The Sea View Villa is located on the quieter Eastern side of Martinhal with stunning views over the protected Costa Vicentina Natural Park and the Atlantic Ocean. The villa has been recently and completely updated to include Air Conditioning, a new kitchen, bathrooms, and total internal and external refurbishment.
This spacious 5-bedroom (including game room) villa has two internal courtyards that give the villa ample fresh air and natural light! Its living quarters include a large comfortable living room with connected open dining room and fully equipped kitchen. All rooms on the ground floor open onto the garden and terrace, and the master bedroom upstairs has a huge sun terrace overlooking the pool, valley and ocean. All bedrooms and the lounge have Smart TV's.
This villa is amazing for those that love the countryside and open sea views. You have access to one of the largest private swimming pools in Martinhal. The terrace includes an outdoor dining area with BBQ that conveniently leads into the kitchen.
The villa is just a few minutes' walk to the beautiful sandy Martinhal Beach with 2 beach restaurants and water sports activities. We can host up to 8 adults + 2 children under 12.

The neighborhood
Martinhal is a quiet and safe resort location, in close proximity of the Martinhal beach, Sagres town and beaches, Atlantic Ocean and the Natural Reserve Park of Costa Vicentina.
The villa is literally a 5 minute walk from Martinhal sandy beach with 2 fantastic beach restaurants. You can also walk along the beach to the local fishing village of Sagres where you will find some great local restaurants, and 3 further beautiful beaches.
Getting around
It is possible to reach Sagres by bus and there are taxi's and übers available in the area. But if you want to make the most of your stay and explore the area, a hire car is highly recommended.
Other things to note
➤ smoking is not allowed, parties are not allowed
➤ Swimming pool can be heated at a surcharge of 35-50 euros per night depending on the season. Please let us know about this before your arrival.

➤ Check-in time: 4 - 9pm (arrivals after 9pm must be confirmed before booking. Late arrivals could result in a fee of 30-50 euros to be paid at arrival.)
➤ Check-out time: before 10am
ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists’ and guests information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known for short as, SEF). To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival we shall send to you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us prior to your arrival. It is mandatory requirement.

das haus ist toll aufgeteilt, bietet viel platz und alles was man so braucht ist vorhanden. der pool ist einzigartig und wurde während unserem aufenthalt 3x gereinigt. die lage ist ruhig und die aussicht aufs meer ein traum.
leider gab es aber auch ein paar sachen die uns nicht so gefallen haben.
wir mussten bei zwei duschen die abflüsse reinigen. küchengeräte (toaster, mixer , kaffemaschiene, wasserkocher) funktionierten nicht oder nur teilweise. sollten ersetzt werden. der geschirrspüler reinigt sehr schlecht und benötigt einen service.
die küche und der aussengrill waren nicht ordentlich sauber.
abschliessend ist es für uns aber vorstellbar dass wir wieder kommen !

The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, with all the essentials like salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, and olive oil, which made cooking and enjoying meals even more enjoyable. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, with no issues at all during our stay. There was also a large television in the main living area, equipped with all the premium channels you could want, making it perfect for relaxing after a day of activities.

Pool was amazing and getting it heated was so worth it.
Everything you could possibly need is there.
Beds were very comfortable but if I had one minor quibble it would be that the pillows weren't great and didn't offer any support. That however is more personal preference.
Seamless check in/out.
We loved our stay and would definitely return.

The outdoor area was very useful! We grilled and swam and had wonderful leisure time
Little things like ants and one one small plumbing issue. There was a clothes dryer but it was faster to dry our clothes outdoors.

Uncomplicated, helpful hosts.
Super Pool. Nice sea view.
Only drawback: It is located in the Martinhal resort. However, as it is not managed by the resort, none of the resort offers can be used.
We were not even able to buy food in the supermarket. All is strictly limited to people who booked through Martinhal.

We understand that you may be disappointed that you were unable to use the resort amenities, as we also disagree with this limitation of the resort itself, but I would like to point out that this is mentioned in the advertisement. Also, down by the beach (2 min walk) there are 2 restaurants open to the public and in the town of Sagres (5 min drive) there is a great selection of supermarkets, local stores and restaurants.

PS: One thing to keep in mind is that the nearest private hospital at night is 50min away, in the town of Alvor. We did have a medical emergency during our 10 day stay and having to drive so long at night to the hospital was quite challenging and stressfull. During the day you will find a hospital 35min away.
