Absolutely loved our stay!
We had the most amazing time at the Lemon Lodge! It is set in a beautiful, serene environment and beautifully decorated, which absolutely contributed to having the most relaxing stay. The hosts are amazing and it was inspiring to meet all of them. Thank you for creating this little piece of paradise, we are already dreaming about coming back in the future:)

The Lemon Lodge is a dream and nestled in the most beautiful natural surroundings. Everything is in top condition, very clean and beautifully furnished. The hosts maintain the accommodation with great attention to detail and the utmost care. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back. The playful dogs were a highlight for our boys and also for us.

We had a lovely stay at the Lemon Lodge. During our stay we mostly communicated with Alex who was an amazing host, extremly helpful, polite and attentive. Although we had really bad luck with the weather the fire place kept us cozy and warm. We would love to come back and enjoy warmer days at the lodge. When you stay at the lodge make sure to check out the yoga deck. Also, if you love animals, you will have the chance to cuddle and play with the cutest dogs. :)

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in der Natur fernab von allem.
Positive: Die Abgeschiedenheit, der Ausblick, die zeitlose Ausstattung mit Naturmaterialen, die Natur um einen herum, der Garten und die Blumen. Die openair Sauna, die Massage von Sebastian vor Ort ist seeehr zu empfehlen und die Yogasession mit Helena tat meiner Seele gut und war ganz anders als wie ich es gewohnt bin, aber superschön! Negative: Die Geschirrspülmaschine war leider die 7 Tage defekt, das nervt bei einer vierköpfigen Familie. Es gab ein süßes Gastgeschenk als Entschädigung. Bei uns ist zwei Mal der Strom ausgefallen, es hatte nicht genug Sonne geschienen und der Generator war defekt. Der off-road Weg von der Hauptstraße zur Unterkunft ist sehr abenteuerlich und kostet einen nochmal ca. 15 Min

We had a gorgeous stay at the Lemon Lodge. Beautiful, peaceful and remote. It’s off grid so it made us more conscious of our energy and water consumption and composted all our fruits/vegetables. There were chickens and lots of friendly dogs running around. Lots of insects but this is the reality of living with nature- nothing to be done but go prepared! We are based in a very big city with little opportunity to live like this so these were all wonderful experiences and things to teach our 3 year old daughter (she loved it!). We stayed in the Tikka suite which was beautifully crafted and comfortable and the plunge pool was a lovely respite from the warm summer days. The yoga deck was also a wonderful place to work out. Alex our host was so lovely and welcoming- warm, friendly and super helpful.

I wish I could lie and say this place had problems so that it could remain a hidden gem... but Helena and Alex have done a WONDERFUL job with their property! The Lemon Lodge was a perfect stay! From all of the eco friendly decor, to the setting of this suite, and the beautiful conversations with Helena and Alex - this place deserves 10 stars! Words do not do it justice. This place in completely off grid and remote, yet feels like you have everything you'd ever need. I stayed there with 3 other people and my group had the best time! Communication with the rental company was not the best but they include the hosts phone numbers and the host are SO friendly and helpful! I recommend this place wholeheartedly! If you stay here, the only time you will be disappointed is when you are leaving because you'll want to stay forever. Thank you Helena and Alex for everything and for inviting us into your beautiful home!🫶🏼

We spent 3 nights in the Tikka suite and really enjoyed our time there. The whole complex is located very remotely (but easy to find due to accurate instructions), it is super quiet and the air smells amazing. If you cannot relax here, you won’t be able to relax anywhere. The house and garden is beautiful and well equipped. Don’t expect a sterile and impersonal accommodation, but a rustic and lovingly decorated space. A big plus are the dogs, cats and chickens, that come to visit. The bed is very very comfortable. We did not meet all of the hosts, but Helena and Alex were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was a pleasure staying at their beautiful space.

We had a very relaxing stay at this magic place. The team is very friendly and helps with all informations. We stayed in the Tikka lodge and enjoeyed the quiet and spaciuos place. Positive: The view from our patio was increadible, having morning coffee and breakfast with a greeny mountain view was amazing! We also appreciated the athosphere created by veeery nice owners and all amenities and cool places accesible in the area of the property (like sauna, yoga deck, plunge pool). Big plus for the design inside the house and the grill and well equipped kitchen. When you come there, bring some groceries as you won’t want to leave this chilled place! Get away from the outside world for a few days & come to this peaceful place
Positive: Everything!! We all have expectations about a place when we book. Some are a pleasant surprise & some not so. I had high expectations for Lemon Lodge but they were exceeded upon arrival so that was a pleasant surprise!! it’s so unbelievably peaceful & relaxing lying in the hammock listening to the silence. the house was comfortable & beautifully furnished & appointed with lovely details like olive oil salt pepper & herbs in the kitchen - oh and fresh eggs too! the owners have put a lot of love & effort into restoring two beautiful places to stay. Their welcome is warm & they are helpful & friendly but leave you in peace. we loved walking around the property & visits from the dogs. if you love being in a natural peaceful environment you will love it. Awesome calm retreat - don‘t miss it!
Positive: Everthing was just perfect. We stayed in the TIKKA suite, which is a super spacious suite especially when travelling as a couple but also definately a lot of space for four persons. The materials and colours used inside the suite are super warm and natural. The kitchen is equipped with literally all you need to prepare also your own meals and enjoy them inside or outside in the beautiful terrace. The wine, tea and coffee on the house was a nice surprise and well appreciated ;-) The outside area is just perfect and super large as well. You can choose from sitting in a sun chair or in the lounge area or just relaxing in the hammock. This in combination with the silence and beauty of the area is just the perfect treat. We met Alex, one of the owner and he was super friendly and helpful, the perfect host. If you are looking for a place to relax and just chill out in the area of Aljezur, this is definately the place. Even if you wanna go to the beaches, it‘s only a 15 min drive to the beautiful beaches in the area. Negative: No comment

View, Privacy, Location, Hosts all were just perfect. The pillows - you can choose if you prefer the natural or synthetic filling. The coffee - there is a hand grinder and selected coffee beans. The tea - you can choose herbal infusions for a perfect tea. All the shower gels, soaps are organic and natural - beautiful products. The indoor area - beautiful design full of charm and functionality. The outdoor area - great place for dining, laying in a hammock, or just relaxing on the deck chairs with a beautiful view.
