The space
Villa Miramar ligt aan zee, in een residentieel gebied tussen Burgau en Salema, aan de zuidkust van de Algarve. De villa biedt een oase van rust met een geweldig uitzicht over de typische Algarviaanse kliffen en de oceaan. Het volledige huis is begin 2022 gerenoveerd en bestaat uit drie gloednieuwe appartementen. Alles ruimtes zijn smaakvol en comfortabel ingericht met een modern interieur van hoge kwaliteit.
Dit specifieke appartement is een privé-accommodatie met 2 slaapkamers. Beide slaapkamers hebben 2 eenpersoonsbedden die makkelijk tegen elkaar geschoven kunnen worden. Een kamer heeft een en-suite badkamer en inloopkast. De tweede ruime badkamer ligt vlak naast de andere slaapkamer. De volledig uitgeruste keuken en lounge zijn verbonden met een groot terras met een privé zwembad. Hier kun je heerlijk ontspannen met het gezin en genieten van het mooie uitzicht.
Wij bieden gratis parkeergelegenheid achter de hekken. U deelt deze parkeerplaats met de 2 andere appartementen.

The neighborhood
Burgau en Salema zijn rustige vissersdorpjes, gelegen tussen Lagos en Sagres. Het dichtsbijzijnde strand: Praia das Cabanas Velhas, ligt op enkele minuten lopen van Villa Miramar en zowel Burgau als Salema bereik je binnen 5 minuten met de auto. Het is een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een ontspannen strandvakantie of om de prachtige Algarve te verkennen. In de omgeving vind je een een ruime keuze aan goede restaurants en bars en er zijn verschillende andere mooie stranden nabij om te verkennen. Als uw idee van de perfecte vakantie is om te ontspannen in de zon en te zwemmen in de zee, zal deze omgeving je alles bieden wat je hartje begeert.
Drie golfbanen liggen op 15 minuten rijden van de villa, net als veel van de beste surfstranden van de Algarve. Het is slechts 8 kilometer van de historische stad Lagos met zijn levendige nachtleven, bruisende jachthaven en een grote verscheidenheid aan winkels, cafés en restaurants. Andere dingen om te doen in de omgeving zijn: surfen, vissen, duiken, golfen, tennissen en wandelen.
Getting around
Burgau is ongeveer 1 uur rijden vanaf Faro Airport. Autoverhuur is mogelijk vanaf de luchthaven. Met de trein duurt het ongeveer 4 tot 5 uur om op de bestemming te komen. Vanaf Lagos, het laatste treinstation, kun je dan het beste verder rijzen per taxi.
De beste manier om de kust van de Algarve te verkennen is met de auto. Er is openbaar vervoer aanwezig maar bussen gaan maar een paar keer per dag, vandaar dat een auto aan te raden is als je ook iets van de omgeving wilt zien.
Je kunt in dit gebied overal gratis parkeren.

This property was easy to check-in with a lockbox. It had stunning sea views where we ate our breakfast outside every morning. The area was really quiet in October which we loved - not many other people around. The property was furnished really beautifully without unnecessary clutter. It felt luxury to have so much space! Erwähnen muss man auch die große Kühl-Gefrierkombi!Ein kleiner Wehmutstropfen: Es war sehr windig während unseres Aufenthalts und dadurch hätte der Pool etwas mehr "Housekeeping" vertragen können (viele hineingewehte Blüten, Blätter, etc.).

Das Apartment ist eine von drei Einheiten in einer Villa mit Parkplätzen im Hof. Sie befindet sich in einer reinen Wohn-/Feirenhaussiedlung, wo es sonst nichts drumherum gibt - ohne Auto kann man also nichts machen. Dadurch ist es recht ruhig.
Wir hatten das Apartment wegen des Pools gebucht, weil die umliegenden Strände nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen sind. Der Pool war auf Grund seiner Größe & Sauberkeit auch das Highlight. Das Apartment ist ebenfalls sehr groß und dafür eher spärlich & lieblos eingerichtet. Große Vorteile bieten die angenehm leise Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern und die beiden geräumigen Bäder. Leider sind diese inzwischen abgenutzt und es lag dauerhaft ein unangenehmer Geruch im Raum, sodass wir permanent die Lüftung laufen lassen mussten.
Die Küche hatte alles, was man benötigt. Leider war diese nur oberflächlich sauber. Gläser und Besteck mussten erst einer Handwäsche unterzogen werden. Später haben wir verstanden, dass dies an der Spülmaschine lag, die komplett zugesetzt war. Wir haben das natürlich kommuniziert und von der Verwaltung wurde uns angeboten, dass sie die Putzkraft noch einmal schicken würden.
Was wir als störend empfanden, ist die Gastherme die sich im Nebenraum der Küche befindet. Diese läuft sehr laut und nicht nur, wenn man selbst Wasser nutzt, gefühlt arbeitet sie für alle Einheiten des Hauses. Da dieser Abstellrraum keine Tür hat, ist das Geräusch auch abends / nachts zu hören. Siehe Ausführungen

The apartment had certainly been renovated recently. Rooms are large and bright and the sea view is amazing. Everything is very clean and in good condition. The kitchen provided all the utensils we needed. The beds are very comfortable and can be used as double or single beds. Wifi worked good. Best thing is the really large and private pool. :-) Quiet neighborhood and good beaches not far away, but a car is mandatory. We had a pleasant stay in this property and can highly recommend it to both individual travelers and families.

Der Pool war sehr verschmutzt ,die Betten trennten sich während dem Schlaf voneinander sodass man als paar niemals gemeinsam schlafen konnte sehr unbequem, in der Dusche gab es ab dem 3. Tag kein warmes Wasser sodass wir uns mit kalten Wasser duschen mussten . In der koche gab es kein Spülmittel und auch kein Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine .für diesen Preis hat sich der Aufenthalt niemals gelohnt ich bin sehr enttäuscht und würde das niemals mehr wieder buchen .

Alles in einem waren wir (zwei Pärchen) sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Wir hatten sehr spontan gebucht. Preis Leistung absolut super zu unserem Zeitraum. Ruhige Lage zwischen Lagos und Sages, Auto ist schon nötig, viele Möglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Der Pool und Blick auf Meer waren unser Highlight. Kleinen Minus Punkt gibts aufgrund des unangenehmen Abfluss Geruchs im großen Schlafzimmer und die eine fleckige Bettdecke. Küchenschränke könnte bald eine Erneuerung vertragen aber alles in einem nicht tragisch und wir würden definitiv wieder kommen!

We had a fantastic time at our rental apartment. It was just what we wanted and just what we expected from the listing. Rental valley were extremely communicative and helped us with any minor queries. The place was wonderful, spotless and it was beautiful! A hire car is definitely recommended to get to local shops, there is a beach within walking distance (15 mins), but there isn’t much with regards to restaurants etc - so a car for us was a must. Having said that, we did go for complete peace and quiet so it was exactly what we were after!

Stunning gem of a villa on a hill in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. If we had more time we would have stayed an entire week - really couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful home and location for our last few days of holiday. Left feeling totally rested and recharged. You need a car if you choose to stay here as there is very little to do on foot locally but plenty to see in the surrounding areas. Only thing missing from our point of view were beach towels. Amazing stay and worth every penny, we will be back!!

Nous avons dans l'ensemble adoré notre séjour dans cette maison magnifique. La réalité est conforme aux photos. La voiture est effectivement indispensable pour se déplacer mais le village de BURGAU est juste à coté et absolument magnifique avec ses plages tout à fait accessibles. A noter cependant que la piscine de la maison n'est nullement sécurisée ce qui est fort préjudiciable lorsque l'on voyage avec un enfant en bas age. Nous aurions apprécié que cela soit mentionné dans l'annonce. Je rejoins également les autres commentaires concernant les couettes minuscules et très fines. Nous avons eu un peu froid. Enfin le ménage était correct mais à parfaire concernant les poignées, portes, interrupteurs et murs avec des traces et odeurs salle de bain liées aux canalisations portugaises. Je terminerai par dire que Rental Valley est ultra professionnel et très réactif. Ils ont répondu à l'ensemble de nos sollicitations dans un délai record alors meme que cela tombait pendant un jour férié.

Das Appartement liegt sehr ruhig mitten in einer Siedlung mit anderen Ferienhäusern. Es ist super ausgestattet, sauber und bietet viel Raum, genau wie auf den Fotos zu sehen. In 15 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß an einem kleinen Strand mit Restaurant. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell an anderen Stränden und Orten mit Möglichkeiten zum Einkehren. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt und konnten gut entspannen.

Sauberkeit, Größe, Ausstattung und der Pool. Der Gas-Durchlauferhitzer war sehr laut. Es schien so, als gäbe es nur diesen einen für 2-3 Wohnungen. Bei uns ging er leider auch mitten in der Nacht an, auch wenn alle bei uns geschlafen und beispielsweise nicht geduscht haben.
Leider gab es auch keine Türe, die man zu diesem Raum schließen konnten. Da wir gerne mit offenen Schlafzimmertüren schlafen, sind wir Nachts öfter durch den Lärm des Erhitzers geweckt worden.

The villa has a lot of space. Comfy beds, pretty bathrooms, a magnificent view from all bedrooms and outside area, lovely living room, and a superb kitchen containing all necessities one can think of. The pool is spacious and clean. Quiet and private place.
The only downside is that one is 100% dependent on having a car, as the closest supermarket is in Budens. There isn't much to do in the area, but it sure is beautiful.
