The space
Indulge in the comfort and luxury of this great apartment. The space has a high-quality finish, with modern equipment and accessories, including satellite TV, underfloor heating, air conditioning, an electric window locking system, a fully equipped kitchen with Siemens appliances, and "Roca" sanitary ware.
Our apartment is situated at the Baía da Luz resort. Architecturally, the resort was designed with Arab influences, in a Roman style, and is divided into three buildings, which form a pleasant feeling of an inner village.

★ The baby and family pool are heated from May to October. Despite not heated, they are open and can be used
The Italian Alloro restaurant enjoys a view over the pool, leisure areas and a garden area. For those interested in Golf, there are 4 Golf courses nearby, in 5 to 20 minutes by car.
➤ We usually welcome families with children or responsible adults because the apartment is part of a quiet condominium with lots of residential owners and some of our bed types are unsuitable for adult use..
➤ Parties and other disturbances are not accepted.

The neighborhood
Praia da Luz is a small resort town located on the incredible Algarve coastline 10km west of Lagos. Praia da Luz, or just Luz, was originally a small fishing village on the edge of the sandy bay surrounded by cliffs. This sandy bay sheltered by cliffs is a perfect family beach destination. Although the town is now more of a holiday resort, it still retains some of the original features from its historical past. The bigger city Lagos is less than 10 minutes drive away, and in the other direction, you will find many small beach towns and breathtaking beaches. Perfect for family, beach and watersport (surf) trips.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. It is located on the coast. You can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours. You can walk into town and the beach from the apartment.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can quickly get around without a car, and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a lot easier.

Nur Check-in war nicht einwandfrei. 2.5 Stunden vorher wollten wir informieren das wir bereits hier sind. Die Rezeption hatte keinerlei Info von uns, weder Name noch Bestätigung. Das machte uns als Familie nervös. Nach mehrmaligen Telefonieren, hatte 1 Stunde später die Rezeption dann plötzlich doch unseren Namen, was uns ziemlich komisch vorkam.
Aber alles andere war sehr zufriedenstellend!

We made this booking 4 months in advance. Rental Valley Property Management company , never shared our booking with Baia d Luz reception due to which even the reception wasn’t able to help us get in. It took rental valley about an hour to pass on the booking info to the reception. Actual owners of the property were NOT reachable, they never answered our phone calls or emails.
Once we got in we found a baby chair that we requested was broken and unusable. There was zero sugar, salt, kitchen paper towel, garbage bags, this property seems totally deserted by Rental Valley (property management ) and the Owners seem to be absconding and completely unresponsive & unreachable.
We contacted Airbnb and atleast they were kind to Apologize for this experience and offered a small compensation. Rental Valley kept blaming owners and owners were out of reach.

Einzige Kritik, alle Möbel sind sehr dunkel.
Die Betten sind super.
Man kann zu Fuß alles gut in Luz erreichen.
Wir waren im April dort und hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt!

Juste je pense qu’il faudrait changer de prestataire pour le ménage, car il y avait pas mal de poussière un peu partout, sur et sous les meubles, probablement un oubli!
Dans l’ensemble ca c’est très bien passé.
Nous avions appelé le complexe avant de réserver pour savoir si la piscine était chauffée à cette période nous avait dit que oui mais malheureusement elle était froide.
