The place is clean and spacious, but the walk to the unit put us off initially. But there is an exit right beside the unit which was convenient. I really liked the location, steps a way from the beach and only 2km from Carvoiero town where there were lots of places to eat. Here you could also find the Boneca Cave, a beautiful walk along the boardwalk and Algar Seco.

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines et demi dans ce logement qui est plutôt bien équipé et propre. Même si nous avons rencontré quelques soucis d'odeurs désagréables à l'arrivée (malheureusement liées à la construction) et trouvé un réfrigérateur pris en glace notre séjour reste agréable dans l'ensemble. L'équipe Rental Valley, propriétaire de ce bien, a été à l'écoute et réactive lorsque nous avons rencontré ces difficultés. La situation géographique de ce bien est idéale pour découvrir la région de l'Algarve, et la plage de Centeanes est réellement à 2 minutes, très pratique avec des enfants.

Die Unterkunft ist in einer älteren Wohnanlage, wurde aber Top renoviert. Das Meer ist in 2 Minuten bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Top Lage. Der Meerblick stimmt nur bedingt. Man sieht es nur auf der Terrasse am äußersten Ende, wenn man steht. Jedenfalls ist die Wohnung zum Meer hin ausgerichtet. Es fehlt in der Wohnung an nichts. Die Abflüsse riechen manchmal etwas, dagegen wurden aber Luftbedufter aufgestellt. Die Straße in der Nähe ist Abends und Nachts nicht sehr stark befahren, jedoch sind Bremshügel auf der Straße. Wenn dort ein LKW zu schnell darüber fährt, hört man das bei geöffnetem Fenstern eben. Sind die Türen/Fenster geschlossen ist alles ruhig! 3 Klimaanlagen sind vorhanden. Ein kleiner Spar Supermarkt ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ist aber sehr teuer. In die Innenstadt sind es mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten, zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten.

Great location, steps from the beach. Has a peek a boo view of the beach from the corner of the patio by the master suite. The patio had not been cleaned before we arrived so was disappointed as patios in the algarve are as important as the indoors. There was a strong smell in the unit when we arrived which was masked with an air freshener. It did disappear after opening all the doors and windows. Nice beds and linens. Well stocked kitchen with lots of implements, dishes, glasses, trays, tea, coffee, olive oil aluminum foil salt/pepper ect. The kitchen sink is in a wierd position tucked in a corner but that did give more prep space on the counter. Has 3 beach umbrellas. Could use a couple of beach mats and a foot wash bucket to keep sand out of the unit. The staff was quick to have our shower drain cleaned when the water would not drain. Overall great stay with a few minor inconveniences.

Es el apartamento mas completo en el que he estado, apartamento recientemente renovado con todo lo que puedas necesitar y mas. Muy comodo, con camas muy confortables. Situado a pie de playa y a unos 2,5 km de Carvoeiro, una localizacion muy buena. Lo elegimos aunque no tenia piscina y vamos con dos niñas, pero no me he arrepentido, las playas son maravillosas. Lo recomiendo

The apartment was clean and spacious for 3 people, although there’s a moldy smell that lingered on no matter what. The management is aware of it as they had obviously tried to hide it with air fresheners but in my opinion the combination of the scents were more disturbing. I’m not sure if that’s a common problem for the region or just specific to this place. The location is great. It’s just a few steps to the beach. There’s a nice beach bar and a snack bar just next to the apartment and a few restaurants a short walk away. The village is a 5 minute drive and it’s lovely. Upon arrival we picked up the keys from a lockbox and went in through the main lobby which took us through a long, dark, and eerie hallway which I had read about in other reviews. Luckily we didn’t have to use that hallway many times again as there is another entrance to the other side which opens right to the beach too.

Apesar de alguns problemas iniciais, todos foram resolvidos com rapidez. Pessoal sempre cordial e com rápida resposta. O apartamento é excelente e tem uma saída lateral que facilita muito o acesso. Recomendo a Rental Valley e esse apartamento. Espaçoso, limpo e equipado. Ligar silencioso que proporciona ótima noite de sono.

We were very disappointed with first impressions and entering the building, it was dire and so musty. The appartment itself was ok although the musty smell from the corridor did permeate into the room. Few maintenance issues need to be addressed. Area is fantastic and it is very close to the beach and the fabulous cliff top walks.

We had a great stay. Our host was very welcoming and friendly upon arrival, very good communication and made sure that all was according to our needs, since the accommodation had been unoccupied for quite some time before we arrived. Check-in and check-out were both very pleasant and convenient. Parking close-by on the street was always available during our stay (april is probably not the busiest period of the year). The location of the accommodation is great, walking distance to the beach and overall a very nice region to stay in.

In terms of cleanliness and accommodations, this listing checked all the boxes but I would NEVER stay here again. We traveled here on our honeymoon and booked this specifically because it said Sea views from the terrace but you can NOT see the ocean at all. The hallway you walk down to get to the apartment felt eerie. Smelled of mold and looks like you’re walking through an old prison. Bait and switch.

Hi Linsey, I am sorry to hear that you did not feel comfortable with the apartment access. We are aware that the long hallways can feel a bit eerie and e recent leak has increased that feeling. But unfortunately, this is not within our power to solve - it's part of the condominium, not our property. That is also why we advice you in our personal guest guide to use the side entrance, which is also availabela and allows you to avoid this hallway alltogether.
