This beautiful house has an amazing view down the valley toward Monte Clerigo beach, with some sightings of wildlife on a good day.

The space

In this spacious T3 holiday home, you will find two generous en-suite bedrooms, with a third room having a door to a small terrace with an additional full guest bathroom.
With high wooden roofs and a rock-cladded kitchen, it has a nice natural feel, with lots of fresh air and there is air conditioning installed throughout the house.

Below has a double garage with a guest wc, for when you are swimming in the large pool in the front garden.

The neighborhood

Our home is located in the "Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina" Natural Park, where you will find the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches. This coast is well known for some of the best surfing spots in Portugal. Outside the areas of mass tourism! The nearby town of Aljezur (6km away) is located at the foot of the Monchique Mountains, in a green environment. Aljezur offers several traditional restaurants, supermarkets and a variety of shops. A trip to the busier tourist resorts in the Algarve, including Lagos (20 min), Portimão and Albufeira is easy to do with your car or by bus. Faro airport is a 60 minute drive.

Getting around

From Faro Airport it takes you about 80 minutes by car to get to Vale de Telha. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended as public transport is only available to Aljezur town but not up to Vale da Telha. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.

Relaxing and Energizing

Positive: The quietness and peacefulness of the location. The pool was great. The living room couch with the "lazy boy chair". Very large rooms and living area, and personally I like the high celling. Negative: The outdoor furniture was a bit old and rusty around the pool. There was a bit too many mosquitos, even with the mosquito nets on two of the three bedrooms and two plugs with repellant, there was still quite a lot of them.

Positive: Pool and rooms were quite nice Negative: The house is located direcly on the street between Arrifana and Monte Clerigo on the exit street to Monte Clerigo. Starting at 8 o'clock in the morning car sound disturbed. This was not clear before the booking, because the adress of the agency in the city was shown in booking and not the one of the house. The kitchen gas stove was not working properly and equipment was quite poor. A barbecue was not available.
