The space
Step inside the doors of Casa Da Bauhinia Vale da Telha and be welcomed by the heart of the home - a spacious kitchen and dining area, complete with stunning views of the private pool. Cosy in the TV room for a family movie night or bask in the natural light, panoramic ocean, and Natural Park views from the first floor.
The ground floor boasts an entrance hall with a staircase, a fully equipped kitchen, utility room, dining area, TV room, double bedroom, family bathroom, and double bedroom. As you make your way to the first floor, take in the large landing with sea views and access to a terrace with ocean views. The master bedroom is double aspect and has an ensuite with access to the patio and a private balcony with a garden view. The remaining bedrooms also have an ensuite and private balcony with ocean views.
Outside, the property features a saltwater swimming pool, covered and first-floor terraces, a mature, fully fenced garden, a Pétanque boules court, a driveway, and a garage with a laundry area. Experience luxury living at its finest at Casa Da Bauhinia Vale da Telha.

The neighborhood
Located on the western coast of the Algarve and nestled within the Vicentina Natural Park, Vale da Telha is a sought-after destination for young families, surfers, and nature lovers alike. The area is popular due to its unspoiled rugged coastline, clean beaches, temperate weather, and natural environment. The beaches of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo are 5-10 minutes by car. The area offers an array of restaurants, cafes, and two mini-supermarkets on its doorstep. The town of Aljezur is 10 minutes by car and has everything for daily living.
Getting around
From Faro Airport, it takes you about 80 minutes by car to get to Vale de Telha. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended as public transport is only available to Aljezur town but not up to Vale da Telha. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.

Wunderschöne Villa in Vale da Telha an einer ruhigen Lage. Die Unterkunft war blitzeblank sauber und es hat alles was man für einen sorglosen Aufenthalt benötigt (man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause). Das Tüpfchen auf dem i, ist der Begrüssungskorb mit etlichen Leckereien aus der Region! wir könne. den Aufenthalt nur empfehlen.

Gorgeous, spacious villa which I would highly recommend. Manager of the villa was extremely friendly and responsive and prepared a much appreciated mini hamper on arrival. The villa was exactly as described and as the photos showed, if anything the lounge and communal areas were a lot bigger than the photos depicted. Great quality and variety of outdoor garden furniture and indoor and outdoor games for our family to enjoy, whatever the weather. Although pool was not heated, it was not too cold and was well maintained. Villa was extremely private and in a quiet neighbourhood but easy drive to local town or numerous gorgeous beaches or you could walk to a well stocked local supermarket and a few restaurants if needed. Overall I would highly recommend this villa.

Was brilliant for walkers and people who love wild flowers as next to the fishermens trail. House manager was very helpful.
Downside was that needed a car as no transport and booking in arrangements were complicated.

Il soggiorno è stato piacevole, la villa è molto grande e lo spazio esterno con barbecue, piscina e sdraio permette di godersi ancora di più il soggiorno.

Wir haben Weihnachten mit der Familie im Casa Da Bauhinia verbracht und hatten eine wunderschöne, entspannte Zeit und ein sehr schönes Weihnachtsfest. Wir haben einen Plastikweihnachtsbaum gefunden, den wir mit Muscheln und Papierschmuck dekoriert haben. Den Baum, der gar nicht so leicht zu finden war, haben wir für nächstes Jahr im Haus gelassen. Wer auch immer hier Weihnachten feiern möchte, dem wünschen wir viel Freude mit ihm :)

Wonderful place to stay in a quiet neighborhood and within a mile walk to the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Take the time to walk there to see the sunset. The locals will be there too with their dogs and bikes taking in the magnificent view.

Unser Aufenthalt war super! Das Haus hat der Beschreibung entsprochen und ist hervorragend ausgestattet! Sogar viele Gewürze, Kaffee, Kaffefilter etc waren vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr über das Willkommenspaket mit den regionalen Spezialitäten gefreut!

Estivemos num grupo de despedida de solteiro durante 3 dias e 2 noites neste maravilhoso espaço. É exactamente como descrito no anúncio. We had a fantastic summer break at the house. Our kids loved the pool and spent so much time enjoying water fun. The house itself is large and very well equipped. It has everything one needs for dinners, bbq's and also has various games and pool/garden toys for the family to enjoy. The area is stunning and there are plenty of beautiful beaches and small towns to visit by car. We already have our eyes on our next trip down to Aljezur.
Communication was easy and we were made to feel very welcome upon arrival.

Casa Da Bauhinia is a beautiful villa with everything you could possibly need for your stay, the kitchen in particular including cupboard cooking ingredients. I've never stayed at a villa that is so well equipped, it made our stay so easy. The welcome package was a lovely surprise, full of local foods. There were plenty of garden activities for children and adults plus board games etc. The villa was spotless and the beds were extremely comfy. The pool was clean a refreshing, there were plenty of comfy sunbeds with shade if required.
Silvia sent some very useful, local information about beaches, restaurants and places to visit. We based what we did using this information and had a very happy time here. We've never been to this part of Portugal before and really enjoyed the quiet, rural area. The beaches are beautiful and spacious with excellent surf rental companies. I recommend Boa onda at Monte Clerigo beach.

Vale de Telha, is just as described, it is spotlessly clean, well equipped, very comfortable and blissfuly peaceful.
It is the perfect place to relax, unwind and have some quality family time, the selection of board games was brilliant for the evenings.
Our host Silvia was great, friendly and provided us with lots of local knowledge that mad our stay even more enjoyable.
I would highly recommend Vale de Telha to anyone and I hope to return one day soon.

Well equipped house, perfect to share for two families. Comfortable house and plan solution, that both provides privacy and functional common spaces to cook and be together. Ground floor is well connected to the outdoor space, the garden and the pool. The garden is spacious and gives enough space for the kids to play and enjoy sports. Car is a necessity, and gives you freedom to enjoy all the nice spaces around. Both restaurants and beaches. The beach "Praia de Monte Clérigo" was spectacular, so picturesque with the small village and scattered houses clinging to the cliffside. And just perfect to enjoy with low water, exposing magical tidal pools that are so playful and attractive for the kids. These narrow pools allows the sun to add some extra heat to the water, so that the kids kan enjoy them for a longer period than what is possible in the fresh Atlantic. This house and this location is highly recommended. If you enjoy peace and nature, this place is a way better option than the Algarve (south coast).

Pictures don't do it justice, this is a beautiful home! My three older kids loved the huge backyard and all the activities provided. Flexible check in and the property manager, Silvia, is just lovely. The house is just minutes from gorgeous views. One thing to note -- it is very rural and remote. If you plan to visit a lot of the popular areas like Lagos and such it is a long drive but we didn't mind too much.

Absolutely excellent stay..beautifully decorated villa and very comfortable beds and furniture and really well equipped with everything we needed Silvia was very welcoming and helpful with lots of information on the villa and also tips for the local area. Highly recommend this place to stay, you do need a car and it’s 1.15hrs from faro airport but well worth the journey and lots of beautiful beaches and restaurants close by.

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful part of Portugal. Six of us had plenty of room and the pool was a delightful and refreshing break after our time in Lisbon and Evora. it was a little hard to find, but the host's rep Silvia communicated throughout the day of our arrival and met us at the house once we got there. A short walk from the house is a stunning view of the cliffs and beaches nearby. a short drive takes you to any number of beaches for a day in the sun (altho we had clouds, and it was still beautiful).
I recommend a stay here for anyone looking to relax in a quiet "neighborhood" and in a lovely home.

We were so happy with our stay at Casa Bauhinia. We were a group of 7 people. The house was fully equipped with all amenities. The perfect size for a group of 7 and quite comfortable. We could enjoy either a day at the beach or just sitting around by the pool and playing spike ball in the garden. The location was private and quiet, but also not to far from restaurants and the city of Aljezur. Our local host Silvia was super helpful, always responsive. She also provided us with helpful recommendations and tips!

Our group of family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rental Valley’s Vale De Telha. Beautiful location off the beaten path, yet not far from amenities in Aljezur. I can 100% recommend the accommodation. For an absolutely great price, we got above-standard equipped and clean accommodation, we didn't miss anything during the whole time and we enjoyed the whole vacation very much. A car is definitely essential, but otherwise the location is great for exploring the whole coast. Miss Silvie was always available, very nice and prompt, she also recommended us a lot of restaurants, trips, activities and entertainment in the area. Even though we arrived later than we announced, she welcomed us warmly. I really have nothing to complain about and we already talked about when we would come back during our stay :)

Beautiful house in a stunning location. We loved the private garden and comfortable shared social space indoors. The location is perfect too, just a 45 minute walk from the stunning monte clerigo beach. Though we loved the garden and pool so much we hardly left! The kitchen was excellently equipped. Thank you Silvia for your kindness checking us in and letting us check out later, it was so much appreciated.

Wow, our stay was fantastic. The hosts went the extra mile to welcome us into their home and introduce us to the algarve. The home was beautiful and very clean. the pictures from the website matched. Silvia met us at the home upon check-in and provided a tour explaining how to operate things in the home. She was very nice despite us arriving later than we had planned. The host family provided a welcome gift basket of local specialties that went beyond our expectations. the entire process from check-in to check-out was perfect. We recommend anyone coming to this area to consider staying in this home. Our only regret was that we weren't able to hike the trails that are close to this home. Perhaps next year!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was impeccable and our host Sylvia was such a delight to deal with. 100% as advertised. Despite our arrival time being changed many times, she was very accommodating. My kids wouldn't leave the pool/yard and missed it once we left. Not to mention 10-minute walk from one of the best sunsets we've ever experienced. Thanks Sylvia, hope to see you again some day.

This is a great house to stay in as a base to explore the west cost surf beaches and laid back vibes of the area. The house was well kitted out, we had toddlers and babies with us and we had everything we needed. Would definitely consider returning.

Amazing week in quiet area of Vale da Telha, in an amazing house with great amenities. We were 6 adults and 2 kids, plenty of space, amazing pool, rooms are big with comfortable beds and lots of light. Outside amenities allow for great lunch and indoor space for dinner. Easy access to nearby amazing beaches. Would definitely come back !!

Wonderful summer holidays in Vale da Telha, Alzejur. We were a group of 5 adults and 5 children (4 to 10 years old) and we had a great time at Casa Da Bauhinia. The house is great and the outside area is perfect for both adults and kids. The nearby beach of Monte Clérigo was great, the older kids had surf lessons and they loved it. Silvia (the responsible onsite) was really helpful and super nice during our stay, perfect service.

We had an amazing stay at Vales. The house and the garden are very beautiful, well equipped and very nicely maintained. The house is spacious (living room + kitchen and all bedrooms) and the interior is designed in a modern and tasteful way. Even though it was a hot time of the year (we were visting at the end of July) the temperature inside the house was quite cool. The beds were very comfortable. The outside area was also great, the pool was clean (there are people comming to clean it twice a week), the plants and trees are really pretty and well maintained, the volleyball pitch was one of the most used spaces by the kids (there were many balls and accesories to play sports and in the pool for the kids. I really recommend this place and I hope to come back one day.

We stayed at Casa Da Bauhinia and had a lovely stay for the family. It was a well appointed house and had lots of games to play for the family. It was a peaceful place and very relaxing.
There are nice beaches all around but you will need to enjoy a walk!

The house has a lovely outdoor area ideal for family with kids and some pool toys too.
It’s a quiet neighborhood.
We enjoyed walking to the ruins and doing part of the scenic cliff walk.
Arrifana beach is a short drive away and lovely with beach cafes and restaurants.

We had a great stay. The host was at the villa when we arrived (very late at night!) and showed us around and went through some house keeping but soon left us to get settled for the night.
The villa was really well presented and very well equipped. It was just as described and we couldn't be happier with our stay.
We knew the area already so knew we had a great location - nice and quiet and super close to the beaches.
Our children loved the big pool (not heated but we were aware of this so were prepared with wetsuits!) and the whole outdoor area was great for all the family to enjoy. The beds were really comfy and the house stayed nice and cool in the evenings.
