The neighborhood
The apartment is located right in the middle of old town Albufeira, very close to the beach and just around the corner from lots of restaurants, shops, and bars with everything you need for a great holiday. As it is known for having great nightlife, the old town offers nice bars in the evening, but heading a little bit further to 'The Strip' you will find many bars and big clubs. If you're not there for the nightlife and you would like to explore a little of the environment, there are many great options. If you have your own transport, there are many great beaches if you head in the direction of Portimão or Lagos.
Getting around
You can easily get around on foot or use public transport or taxi/uber to travel around town. If you wish to explore the larger Algarve area, a hire car is recommended. Parking in old town Albufeira is challenging, therefore we recommend you to use one of the parking areas on the outskirts of the city and walk or take a taxi from there.

El departamento es muy amplio y cuenta con estacionamiento dentro del edificio Tuvimos un problema, NOS QUEDAMOS SIN AGUA; y el departamento esta gerenciado por RENTAL VALLEY, a quienes les avisamos de la situación a las 10 30 am, y nos dijeron que preguntaremos a los vecinos todo por wassapp, no encontramos a ninguno y nuevamente le escribo; diciéndoles que nos íbamos a recorrer. A las 17 30hs recién volvemos a recibir un mensaje de RENTAL VALLEY, consultando si había vuelto el agua, nosotros no habíamos llegado al departamento aún. Cuando llegamos al rededor de las 18hs seguíamos SIN AGUA, le volvemos a escribir y no solo nos responden si la llave de paso del pasillo esta abierta o cerrada ( no sabíamos nada sobre una llave de paso, obviamente no conocemos el edificio); teniendo en cuenta el.poco servicio recibido comienzo a escribir en la mensajería de Booking.com, y comienza un diálogo más fluido....( SIEMPRE LOS MENSAJES DEBEN DARSE EN BOOKING.COM, aunque tiendan a usar el wassapp). Mi esposo ante la gravedad del problema y quedándonos dos noches aún, volvió a buscar algún vecino y cuando lo encuentra el edificio siempre tuvo agua el problema era del departamento, también se lo comunico a RENTAL VALLEY por la mensajería de Booking.com; y el.servicio dado por la rentadora era solo preguntar si mi esposo y el vecino encontraron el problema que dejo sin agua el departamento. MORALEJA; si alquilas un departamento, aunque sea por medio de Booking.com, que sea directamente con LOS DUEÑOS y no con una rentadora. Tampoco funciona las percianas de la habitación, una rentadora debe tener el departamento funcionando correctamente

Passamos quase uma semana e foi ótimo. Apartamento amplo, limpo, arejado. Roupas de cama e banho impecáveis. Localização ótima pra quem quer estar perto dos restaurantes e da agitação de Albufeira, porém com a tranquilidade de uma rua residencial . A equipe da Rental Valley recebe muito bem o hóspede e oferece assistência e esclarecimentos durante toda a estadia.

The Apartment is located up a quiet street a few minutes’ walk from the old square. Even during the peak summer months this street will be quiet. The beach and restaurants are all within a reasonable walking distance. If you have a car, the underground carpark is a great resource to use as on street parking is very limited in the area. We ate in a lovely restaurant just down the road (2 min walk) called "Restaurante O Catraio". The staff were very friendly, and the food was great quality and value for money. A little gem off the beaten track. The apartment was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only point to note would be the mattress. It is a very firm mattress so if you are used to a softer one maybe it won’t be your cup of tea.

Excellent apartment, exactly as described in listing. Friendly local host who showed us around the apartment when we arrived. The apartment is in a convenient and walkable location, with grocery stores nearby. Private underground parking underneath the building was much appreciated, and saved us from having to find street parking.
The apartment is comfortable, clean and quiet. Bedroom was good, with clean linens and a firm mattress. Kitchen was functional and bathroom clean and a good shower. Would absolutely recommend this listing!

J’ai passé un séjour magnifique dans cet Airbnb à Albufeira ! L’emplacement est parfait, à seulement quelques minutes de la plage, ce qui rend les journées ensoleillées encore plus agréables. L’appartement était propre, bien équipé, et très confortable. L’hôte a été très accueillante et disponible pour répondre à nos questions. This Airbnb was perfectly located just up the street from all main attractions but is just far enough that it was very quiet. The apartment was spacious and clean. Nothing to fault. The apartment has everything you need and a great location near all the restaurants and bars but also insulated from noise. Good quality linen and well stocked kitchen if you wanted to cook and air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom. Also has secure parking and secure building entrance.

Reasonably spacious enough for two people very happy that it had a washing machine, microwave coffee machine and enough pots and pans to make a meal, The bed is very uncomfortable. I couldn’t sleep in it and then tried to sleep on the bed settee, but it was even worse. I spent two weeks on the bed settee, but on top of the settee cushions which kept moving around and was like sleeping on a single bed, also as everything was tiled, I could hear the noise from all the other apartments and through the vents in the wall

Die Wohnung ist in Albufeira wirklich gut gelegen. Die Hot-Spots für Touristen sind nur wenige Meter entfernt. Da kann man das Auto stehenlassen und zu Fuß unterwegs sein. Für die Wohnung gibt es einen Stellplatz in der Tiefgarage der Wohnanlage - das ist für diese zentrale Lage absolut erforderlich. Auch wenn so zentral gelegen ist die Wohnung selbst super ruhig gelegen - man ist sofort für sich privat. Das ist echt optimal.
Die Küche war noch nicht perfekt ausgestattet - hier hatten noch Dinge gefehlt. Und das war aber auch kein großes Ding. Einfacher Kontakt mit Rental Valley (jacqueline) und schon waren die fehlenden Sachen nachgekauft und standen ab dem gleichen Tag noch zur Verfügung. Auch im Nachgang haben wir noch ein paar fehlende Sachen angemerkt, die wir nicht gebraucht haben, aber für andere Gäste wichtig seien könnten. Auch das wurde sofort nachbeschafft.
So soll es sein und das fanden wir richtig gut. Mit anderen Worten können wir die Wohnung weiterempfehlen, lohnt sich
