The neighborhood
This townhouse is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is right behind the town center of Sagres, with it's many restaurants and shops. The big supermarket is 5-10 minutes walking. Beliche beach and the Cabo de São Vicente ('end of the world') are just a few minutes by car.
Getting around
There are several buses a day going to and from Sagres, but to get around a hire car is recommended. You can park one car for free on our private parking, extra cars can park in the streets surrounding this accommodation.

Die Abwicklung lief reibungslos und auch der Check Inn war ohne Probleme.
Grundsätzlich waren wir mit dem Haus zufrieden, es liegt in einer sauberen, schönen Ferienanlage am Ortsrand. Es war super ruhig und entspannt, Sonne hatten wir auf der Terrasse satt bis in den späten Abend.
Allerdings würde das ganze mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten viel schöner aussehen:
Haus einmal mit einem Außenanstrich überarbeiten
Wasserhahn im Bad und Halterung der Dusche mal austauschen, war locker und ungepflegt
Bett leider nur 1,40 breit und nur mit einer Bettdecke, diese war zwar ausreichend groß, aber trotzdem sehr unpraktisch
Wäscheständer mal austauschen, dieser war verrostet und fiel zusammen
Tisch und Stühle der Terrasse mal austauschen, verblichen und klapprig
Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden auch wiederkommen.
Die oben genannten Mängel lassen sich sicherlich für kleines Geld beheben.

It is right outside Sagres and there is no sidewalk so we opted for the car every time we wanted to go to the beach, grocery shopping or to have dinner.
The big minus was the cleanliness of the house. There were stains everywhere, the dishes were dirty, the bathroom mirror was dirty, the blanket on the sofa was dirty and there was a specific smell of old (I assume it came from the furniture). The house needs a deep clean and some tiny renovation/refreshing works.

The kitchen is quite small and the grill was super rusty. Communication was fast and reliable. The place was clean and well designed. Check in and out was easy.

Die Einrichtung im Haus ist nicht so hochwertig, wie es auf den Bildern scheint. Aber die Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert (Lieber nicht gleichzeitig mit dem Herd laufen lassen!) und die Fliegengitter im Schlafzimmer und Bad sind Gold wert. Uns hat es sehr gefallen!

vooraf moesten we onze aankomst tijd aangeven. Er is alleen nooit iemand van de verhuur organisatie langs geweest. bij aankomst lag er ontlasting van ongedierte in de badkamer, er zat een gat in de vloer naast het toilet, de vloer van de douche plakte en de helft van de verlichting in de slaapkamer deed het niet. Het is jammer dat er geen foto's geüpload kunnen worden, want het was walgelijk smerig.
Nadat we dit incident hadden aangegeven is er iemand langs gekomen om het licht te maken. het gat in de vloer werd met purschuim opgevuld. Ook de eigenaar van het huisje kwam langs om excuses te maken maar dit wist van niets van het ongedierte, dit was niet naar hem gecommuniceerd.
de badkamer moesten we maar zelf schoonmaken, er is nooit iemand langsgestuurd om schoon te maken. Als we dat wilde moest er €30 - €40 extra betaald worden. Dat gelde ook voor de handdoeken en theedoeken, daar hebben we dus 2 volle weken mee moeten doen.
er stond online aangegeven dat er een BBQ met benodigdheden aanwezig was. De BBQ zelf viel van ellende bijna uit elkaar. alle benodigdheden moesten we zelf in de supermarkt halen.
desondanks hebben we zelf maar het beste ervan gemaakt. maar voor de prijs die we er voor hebben betaald zonder enige services vanuit de organisatie was het het absoluut niet waard en een erg teleurstellende vakantie.

La casa es incomoda el sofa es horrible te da la sensación de sucio, el cuarto de baño pequeño el agua sin presión casi.
La cocina no esta limpia y la casa esta fabricada con calidades bastante regulares.
Por último, la empresa que lo alquila ni está ni se la espera es un saca dinero por estar en una zona turistica.

la cama bastante incómoda, el somier sonaba muchísimo, el salón tiene poco mobiliario, de mala calidad y deteriorado. si le pusieran un poco de cariño estaría muy bien, pero parece como si la casa estuviera compuesta con todo lo que sobra.

Había moscas, unos excrementos dentro del cajón donde se guardaba el papel higiénico, el desagüe del wc tenía un agujero. Llegamos y la vitro no funcionaba y la anfitriona nos dijo que llamáramos nosotros al seguro. La vajilla no estaba muy limpia.

Very beautiful little house with basics lovely garden. Was an ideal base for us (couple). There was enough pots and pans to make a meal and a nice little dinning table.
We walked from the house on most days and hired bikes from Sagres bicycle company.
Follow instructions to get to villa instead of phone maps we found it without any issues and we arrived in the dark.
Owners very friendly.
Some very good restaurants in Sagres Three little birds was our favourite and again all within a 20minute walk.
Would definitely recommend and would be very happy to return.

La vue est chouette, seul petit hic est que le terrain devant la terrasse n’est pas hyper propre, il sert un peu de décharge du coup ça vient un peu gâcher le paysage …!
Mais dans l’ensemble c’est un bon logement !

Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man benötigt und ist super gelegen.
Man kann zu Fuß nach Sagres laufen (5min) entweder an der Straße entlang oder über Pfade durch das angrenzende Naturschutzgebiet.
Die Ausstattung ist simpel aber für Ferien total ausreichend.
Heizung und warm Wasser funktionieren einwandfrei.
Durch die Aufteilung des Grundstückes ist man absolut für sich.
Sehr zu empfehlen.
