The space
Our House features one bedroom with a double bed, perfect for couples. The living room and equipped kitchen provide a cozy space to relax and prepare meals, complete with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, fridge, and freezer.
Step outside to enjoy your private garden, small pool, and BBQ area, where you can soak up the sun and enjoy a delicious grilled meal. Our House also includes WiFi, cable TV, and air conditioning to keep you comfortable throughout your stay.
Just 400 meters away, you'll find an Intermarché supermarket, surf shops, and a bus stop, while restaurants and the center of Sagres are only 1km away. With surf beaches, bars, a pharmacy, and plenty of activities like surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, Casa Rainer is the perfect location for a beach, sporty or nature holiday.
Our House accommodates up to two guests. Bed linen and towels are included. There is a secure outdoor parking on-site.

The neighborhood
This townhouse is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is right behind the town center of Sagres, with it's many restaurants and shops. The big supermarket is 5-10 minutes walking. Beliche beach and the Cabo de São Vicente ('end of the world') are just a few minutes by car.
Getting around
There are several buses a day going to and from Sagres, but to get around a hire car is recommended. You can park one car for free on our private parking, extra cars can park in the streets surrounding this accommodation.

Spülmaschine war sehr verkalkt und das Geschirr wurde leider nicht richtig sauber.
Außerdem haben wir nach einer zweiten Decke für unser Kind gefragt, welche uns nicht gegeben wurde aufgrund einer standardisierten Ausstattung. Das konnten wir nicht ganz nachvollziehen da es sowieso ein 2. Bett (aber ohne Decke) gab.

Die Ausstattung war in Ordnung, aber ein paar Dinge könnten ausgetauscht werden – z.b Messer (ziemlich stumpf), Wäscheständer . Die Lage war super, Fußläufig nach Sagres. Die Straße hört man leider in der Unterkunft, da es die einzige ist, die nach Sagres führt.
Insgesamt aber eine angenehme Unterkunft!

Die Lage war ruhig, der kleine Garten mit dem Minipool sehr schön und ausreichend.
Einziger Punkt, der verbesserungsfähig wäre: Es gibt im Schlafzimmer nur eine kleine Ablagefläche für einen Koffer und eine kleine Minikleiderstange.
Ansonsten war alles vorhanden. Danke noch mal für die Flexibilität beim Check-out!

Solamente que fuimos en invierno y me parece que hacia falta más mantas o colocar al menos un radiador.
Por otro lado algo que no me gustó a nivel de check out es que tienes que llevarte tu la basura y tirarlas en los contenedores del pueblo, si esto un complejo con diferentes villas, me parece que si nos piden a los huéspedes limpiar y tirar la basura cómo detalle deberían de colocar una sección de basura en el complejo.

The area itself is more secluded than the rest of the Algarve and potentially more aimed at outdoorsy (ie Surfing, Biking, Running) people, but there's still beautiful beaches to visit and it was a very relaxed atmosphere.
Unfortunately for us, we went at the end of summer and temperatures were a bit cooler than expected.
Nevertheless, we did still enjoy the chilly water of the pool.
Recommended for small groups, even with children, who might - just like us - have come from the more busy cities like Lisbon and Porto and want to spend the rest of their vacation relaxing and enjoying the sun. Very good -and cheap- restaurants nearby as well.
Our host communicated very clearly and swiftly, so it's a 5/5 review from me!

Wir waren vier Nächte vor Ort und haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt!
Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für zwei Personen und es mangelt an nichts! Man hat seine Ruhe und Privatsphäre, ist aber auch super schnell in den verschiedenen Ort drum herum. Zudem ist Sarges ein super süßes Örtchen! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Leider war das Wlan/WiFi sehr störungsanfällig oder gar nicht vorhanden. Der Netzwerkname Villa Rainer war in der Liste nicht vorhanden. Wir haben uns notgedrungen beim Nachbarhaus eingeloggt.
Allgemein ist die Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen und abgenutzt: Stühle, Sofa..die Automatik für die Außenbeleuchtung liess sich nicht abstellen, die Spülmaschine spülte nicht vernünftig, Sonnenschirm: Fehlanzeige. Außenkissen fehlten ebenfalls. Schwimmer im WC war komplett verkalkt und musste repariert werden, die Grillausstattung verrottet in einem zugeregneten Plastkgefäß..
Die Putzkräfte haben offensichtlich zu wenig Zeit.
Ergebnis: Der Besitzer sollte sich dringend um sein Eigentum kümmern.

Bei der Ankunft hatten wir Problem mit dem Wifi. Die Hilfe durch die Vermieter war sehr schnell und unkompliziert. Am nächsten Morgen war das Problem behoben. Sehr gut!!!
Falls man wie wir die umliegenden Städte wie Lagos besuchen will liegt Sagres etwas abgelegen. Trotzdem sehr schön und dafür sehr ruhig.

Keine Vorhänge oder Jalousien im Wohnbereich (durch die großen Fenster ist der Wohnraum sehr einsehbar). Toilettendeckel könnte erneuert werden. Kein Schrank im Schlafzimmer. Ein großer Raum - also Wohnraum und Schlafzimmer sind nicht abgetrennt. Den Grill wollten wir nicht nutzen. Er steht im Freien (Grill-Kohle war nass der Grill nicht wirklich sauber). Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für unsere Reisezeit (Winter) etwas zu teuer.

We arrived early and called to see if we could check in, they said it was ready. When we arrived it hadn’t been cleaned so they asked us to come back (no problem) the shower still wasn’t clean. The internet and tv didn’t work, the internet I needed for a work call. the shower was blocked and flooded the bathroom. I contacted rental valley and they said someone would be out the following day.
The cleaner and the handyman were very lovely and sorted us out.
After this it was simply amazing!
check out the hangout, picnic, three little birds, and chirinquito for an acai bowl. A car is a must to visit all the surrounding beaches! Beliches “stairway to heaven” Surf planet was great for board rental

Toallas y sábanas de calidad.
Cama muy cómoda.
Entorno tranquilo y se duerme estupendamente, no hay ruidos.
La limpieza del baño dejaba mucho que desear.
Ningún producto de limpieza, tuvimos que comprar todo, hasta las pastillas del lavavajillas y bolsas de basura.
La barbacoa estaba en pésimas condiciones, pero tenían una nueva que tuvimos que montar nosotros para poder usarla.
Poco menaje de cocina.
Deberían pasar más a menudo a limpiar la piscina, ya que con el viento que hace y la vegetación que hay es bastante necesario.
La mampara no está hermética, por lo que se pierde agua al ducharse y por la tarde noche baja mucho la presión del agua.

Pool filter system could have been better, storage for clothes lacking, did not enjoy living out of a suitcase. Wi-Fi and hot water poor to start with. Back draft of smell from drainage in toilet quite unpleasant. However everything above was addressed very promptly from the agent and the owner himself.

The place wasn’t properly cleaned before our arrival. The pool water was very dirty and it took them a full day to come and clean it after contacting them, which meant we couldn’t really use the pool during our stay.

Die Matratzen waren sehr angenehm zum schlafen, nicht zu weich und nicht zu hart.
Das Haus ist auch mit ausreichend Steckdosen versehen, hier wurde nicht gespart.
Wenn wir etwas benötigten waren Susanna und Pedro umgehend erreichbar und kamen sofort vorbei, wenn etwas nicht funktionierte. Die Ausstattung der Küche reicht für die Basics, und auch hier bekamen wir auf Anfrage mehr, wenn uns etwas fehlte.
Da in der Nähe ein kleiner (privater) See liegt, ist es auch ratsam Moskitoschutz mitzunehmen.
Und auf eine kleine Stufe zwischen Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer ist zu achten, die übersieht man gerne mal ;-)
Summo Summarum können wir Vila Rainer sehr empfehlen!
