The neighborhood

This home is located next to the water which crosses Halfweg in the middle, a small drive to Spaarnwoude recreation park and of course Dutch oldest steam pumping station! This museum tells everything about pumping water in the year 1852. It is the oldest and largest working steam wheel pumping station in the world.

Getting around

There is a new train station in Halfweg! Only 10 minutes walk to Halfweg station and within 10 minutes you are in Haarlem or in Amsterdam. Zaanse Schans also an option!

Train is the best option to travel with. Takes less time.

Other things to note

➤ Check-in time: 16:00-22:00 (late arrival possible in consultation)

Opposite the house is a fire station barracks. The siren is switched on only in the case of very serious emergencies.All other extensions are without noise.
Close to Schiphol, that is to say about flying planes.
On average no more that 1 to 2 times per day a quarter of an hour of noise nuisance.
